Funny the part where the policeman said they exchanged gun shots with the robbers after the robbers opened fire. Meanwhile, according to the same policeman, the robbers were armed with broken bottles and matchets...so what did they open the fire with? The so called Edo guest house should arrange for police security as it seems they are a soft target for armed robbers. I pity the people lodging there unknowingly. |
Eddygourdo:Thanks for the remarks. But I'm a guy ![]() |
Eddygourdo:Does it matter? |
Breadfruit:I get ur point abt being polite, no arguments there. The issue here is OP giving her hubby a condition. I believe there are better ways of making ur hubby say pls than just demanding it/making it a condition precedent. What advise do u have have for her in this current situation? @OP: how market? Una don settle? |
Op: Since u have been doing it and OK with it, y are u making him say please this time?...when u have been doing so without him saying 'pls' and will still do it whether he says 'please' or not. If he concedes and says pls, how is he sure that u wnt make that a condition for doing it going forward? Or even extends the condition to every other thing...sex, food etc. That's y he doesn't want to say it...before he turns to a beggar in his own house ![]() He is not a baby and im sure he knows to pet u or say pls to you. Dnt just make it a condition, like if u dnt say pls, u are not getting bla bla bla |
@ OP: Rotimi Amaechi is the only reason APC still has some weight in Rivers State. Party would have been dormant just like they are in States like Enugu, Ebonyi, Abia etc |
Just watching and waiting for serious comments. Op: start the discussion already and let the ball roll...what do u think about the subject? |
Happy Easter to you John. Jisike, u will surely be a millionaire if u continue with ur work ethics. I think u re meant to wear the shirt though. At least keep one. |
What kind of story is this? For the woman to be going for a burial means this happened in broad daylight. And the man was able to kill her while she was seated in her car, split the body and put the remains in the booth. Where was everybody? Did he divert her to the bush? Op: source pls. |
ABA road is a federal road, not a state road. But the problem here is blocked drainage...Wike should be able to tidy dat up ASAP |
Op: when did dis happen? 19th? And how come it's not on the news ![]() I think it's another fake story about #riversrerun# Hold on, are these pictures of the same person ![]() I doubt. |
This is bad. |
This just has to stop. Where are the youths now? Fake soldiers indeed, are the trucks also fake military trucks or were 76 of them moved with cow trailer? |
Op: @ question It's cos he was an armed robber...which is punishable by death. Your report states that he was deadlier than his master and taking human life was nothing for him. So he had to die. If ur close ones have ever been robbed and killed in the process, u will understand that armed robbery is a vice that should not be treated lightly. The trauma is better imagined than experienced especially when it happens at one's home. However, I think our laws should be amended and stiffer punishment meted out to massive looters...return all the stolen money and get minimum of 10years in jail, return some and get life sentence. You don't return at all, then hang. |
RIP to the dead. Still wondering how the wall of this mud house was able to kill a grown up passerby ![]() |
Quakertellicus1:House should be under lands, housing and urban devt ministry. The area in the pix looks like a poor neighbourhood, the people living there obviously can't afford better housing. Now with dwindling resources faced by most States, can that ministry afford to develop strong affordable housing units to relocate residents of this neighbourhood? Even if they do, can these residents afford it? I think the main issue here is the level of poverty in the land. |
Quakertellicus1:Commissioner for works should resign cos a dilapidated mud house gave way? Wat's the relationship between works commissioner and a mud house? Just asking @topic: Very bizarre. From the pix, how could this mud house kill a grown passer by. |
JAMB topic! And I tot I was arguing with someone with the capacity to research a subject and come up with an informed position. I actually came here to learn a thing or two on the subject matter...waste of time and MB. #leavesthread# #nothingtolearn# |
SirDavico:Been trying not to say this bluntly but now I will. Your article is useless with no proven scientific backing. For your points to stick, u need to show that there are no extinct water snake species. You also need to show us that there are no extinct species in Africa, tropical rain forest, the Amazon etc. I will take your points serious when this is done. So get to work and stop speculating. However I suspect that ur sole purpose of creating this thread is to listen to ur fellow snake crushers and eaters and continue jerking off on the euphoria. Dont worry, you will soon make front page and more of them will come... Good luck to you. I hope u kno that animals placed on endangered list are animals on the verge of extinction |
SirDavico:Make the stated points bold in your original post, can't find them there. And naija is the only place with these 3 points of urs? Check link for list of snakes in the endangered list. A lot of them are inhabitants of the rain forest...(with ur abundant forest, water bodies and plenty bush meat) http://rainforests.mongabay.com/endangered/charts/reptiles-snakes.html |
Why are they using interlocking stones on a major road? Is that area flood prone? I hope it lasts with the heavy vehicular traffic. Kudos to the Governor |
Op: why are they non extinct in Nigeria That's the topic right? |
My favorite mafia movie. The olodo man sef doesn't follow. Lmfao at his response. |
SpaceTour:Exactly sir, my opinion. You are also entitled to urs. |
asha80:My dear, only in Nigeria. The contractor will spend not more than 70m per km all things being equal #fact#. However, I have not been to the area in question to know how the soil structure is but whatever it is, 220m per km is very high. |
4.5 km road at 1bn Hmm. That's a whooping N220m per km, even NDDC roads are nt that expensive.Back to topic, Anambra is very close to both Enugu and Asaba airports. So an airport in Anambra today is far from being priority. There should be more urgent infrastructure like roads, power and more industries before an airport. |
Fake news everywhere, election was cancelled in Ogoni |
Election was cancelled in all Ogoni LGAs; Eleme, Gokana, Khana, and Tai. Which election was rigged OP ![]() |
I did. Thanks a lot. I actually used the money saved up for something else. I will do the course later in a reputable institution. Thanks |
The governor has failed his people, common sense tells u that if you re to borrow that much money...use it for something that will yield financial returns. Now poor FAAC, poor IGR. I assume ( with this figure) that the state is on stand still, no salaries for workers, no capital projects, nothing. He has failed his entire people, not just civil servants. |
It's official, wailing is now a profession in Nigeria. 5bn, 6.9bn, 11bn no pix of cash o.... Abeg who don count finish, make we kno the accurate figure...mtcheew! lonelydora: macfarland: Truckpusher: Igwe9:Wailing wailers, wailing without bothering to ascertain the veracity of wat they are wailing about. |
bayoalare:Seconded . babyfaceafrica:Dnt mind him, went thru the pain of getting commissioner's contact but can't do a simple mail to him. |
