I don't even have to outline his response because its apparent he was oh no darling etc etc. I went out on Sat and I actually had to come home becuase guys wouldn't leave me alone (irish men that is) I know I am painting a grim situation we are happy apart from his attitude to certian things. I have and regularly continue to put it to him how I feel about 'paper' issue. When I was brought to Nigeria I was welcomed by everyone there and I thought it was genuine. meanwhile I just have to take it day by day thank you for the advise.

Hi all! my husband has hit me a few times before for petty matters and I have indeed addressed the issue. Tonight, I was very tired. as usual he puts porn fiilms on and we watch them together. I have no problem with that and he is well aware of this. However, just before the film started I asked him if his wife was Ngerian (lets say from enugu) would she be willing to take part in porn films wiht him (ie copy their movements) I clearly was aksing a quesiton, not malisiously though. Then, he jumped off the sofa and pushed me very hard ot the extent that I fell off the sofa and swore at me etc tec. i then appologised continuosly by explaining that I was curious as to what naija ladies woudl feel about this. He told me I was a sick individual and rna off to bed, I folloed him and asked him to enjoy himself that I was sorry I didnt mean it in a bad way but h e called me an animal. can i have your opinions please. Ok, i'm not nigerian but I can tell you I don't buy this story at all to be quite frank. Reason be, although on the rise divorce is quite rare and unnacceptable in Nigeria especially in a village! children born outside of wedlock is also unnacceptable unlike the west where it is the norm. From what I heard, some ladies who choose to give birth outside of wedlock would be mainly from major cities NOT VILLAGES that are extremely traditional, no woman in a village would do that becuase if she did she would be ostracised. I don't beleive him to be honest - things like this are even rare in major cities.

Think you need to do a bit more research. They probably did get a traditional marriage and could be even still married, better again the lady probably knows all about you and needs to better her own life so she agrees on him taking you on as another wife, but why my dear would this be? ask yourself.

I personally know two ladies who married guys who said they were divorced and it ended up they were not as they refused to take them (the ladies and kids) to Nigeria for a vacation and these guys ended up going home for like one month always without them and the children! look, I am not saying that this is the case but surely you don't want to end up kicked to the curb one day while this man arranges to bring his 'friend' (the childs mother) over to australia to join him. Remember as extreme as I may sound this IS the reality. He could be married in Nigeria to this lady and may need to get his papers sorted out in aussie.

there is nothing in the quraan that suggest one should have towear burqa its a culture that came about through some hadith and culture that suggested a woman should wear it if she is the cause of fitnah ie so beautiful that it would damage society i will get this citation
