Everyone knows he's high ....bros talk another thing .

Good list , but where is Leon Balogun ? That guy seems to be the best defender inform at the moment ....contributed a whole lot to give his team the needed victory against the Bayern team .i will like Sia 1 to have a rethink .abi e no dey watch German league ?

Funny enough he still keep his old hairstyle similar to the back and front . A very good goal keeper .

NFF and their drama .... Put a structure in place to pay ur coaches . And for ones they should be serious about prompt payment of salaries and players entitlements , if they can put these things in place they will earn our respect .

Reno commitment look like a joke ....why no adopt yours or equip the place with what they will need in future.

You guys should always keep victor Moses slot vacant . He may not show up ..... For so many time he has been consistently inconsistent with national duties , I hope he will not come up with another excuse before the double cracker .... I beg success can fill in that space if invited .

Cholls:
my brothers and sisters we have long way to go in this country. .......this is not what dey call pool party in my dictionary abeg...........let me enlighten you sef.

my brother MRBrownJ longest time.

Don't mind them ....Maybe the op meant pool side party "

EastanPower:
Good one but I would have liked it more if he was penciled to take over from Oliseh.

If u know how difficult the super eagles job his , if u like this guy u will not advice him to take the job .

I think Nff will get it right this time .....don't name him alone equip him and support him , he will deliver .

Lucky people

Icon4s:
Hey guys! Celebrate with me as I welcome a new member of my household. Our God is Faithful!

Congrats bro ....papa Lewandowski

Icon4s:
I am just looking forward to a friendly between the Oliseh led Super Eagles and the Siasia led U23 Team. The game can be played in either Abuja or Uyo (Two of our best pitches) and played during any of the FIFA free windows from now to June. Or 2 or 3 days after the second leg against Egypt in March won't be a bad idea.

My Team list for the Super Eagles (STARTING 11):

......................Ikeme

Balogun....Ambrose.... Obaobona.... Echiejile

..............Onazi
................................Mikel

Musa.............Uzochukwu..................V. Moses

......................Ighalo

My U23 Team list (STARTING 11):

...................Daniel

Abdullahi......Omeruo....Troost-Ekong....Madu

....................Ndidi/Azubuike

Etebor..............Iwobi.....................Simon

..............Iheanacho
..............................Success

PREDICT CORRECTLY THE SCORELINE OF THIS EPIC GAME AND STAND A CHANCE OF WINNING A TICKET TO WATCH THE DREAM TEAM LIVE IN RIO.

My good friend forgiveness, pls forgive me for not including the likes of Solanke, Ilori and Aneke. We are not sure of where their nationalities lie for now. So until then.....

Super eagles vs super eagles ....1st eleven vs reserved bench . ....(present /future ) under 23 will either win/draw .they can never lose
it is good to dream bro
but nigeria is not among the favourite[/quote.

Did u watch the Atlanta 96? Nigeria wasn't the favorite we had so many teams better than us on paper , but at the end of 90 mins of each of the matches played that year ...we became s force to reckon with . If u asked Ronaldo delimma , he will tell u that he shared tears after 90mins even d great argentines will never forget that in a rush ....

I am seeing things .... As d Olympic draw nearer , our team is becoming more deadlier .Nacho + iwobi + success= gold medal .

@ icon ...u just nailed it . I was looking for where I could click on more likes . But unfortunately I am entitled to one. Sia has been the luckiest among all... The only headache he can have is selection , I trust him he can pick the best attacking set of guys . I wish them all injury free before the Olympic !

terzurum5:

If Chisom Chikatra continues with his form, I would go for him for one of the slots in the forwards.
Just love his confidence and positional play in the opponent's goal mouth.

Still can't understand why Coach Samson Siasia didn't include him on his U23 roaster.

Let Chisom continue with the super eagles , he can only function as a super sub , cos he's prone to injury , although he is a very good player that that have eye for goals .

I though travelex is a foreign company why empower them ....what is wrong with giving license to one of the institution ? I hope travellex will change their policy , if you don't have a boarding pass you can't buy foreign currency . This means that it's only for people traveling .

Icon4s:
Well then.

On my first 11 for the Olympics, nothing much has changed except for that number 10 position. Lets still watch d potential candidates for d next couple of months. My preferred over aged players would still b 2 defenders and 1 DMF.

Who will be your number 10? Iheanacho is out of it in my opinion

Abeg make una leave my sister o. U guys know safarigirl is the first lady of this honourable house. Make we no further deplete our already lean kitchen cabinet o.

you seems not to get me , what I ve pointed out so far is not about anybody but it can be for somebody that shows some sense of belonging to someone's intellectual property . What will d owner of the forum do ? Let's respect one another , football discussion will definitely bring about argument but we shouldn't be rude to one another .

In other words ,I know you are having a rethink over your first eleven that will make ur Olympic team .

I know how boring it can be when a little child in the midst of elders , and all the child could hear is about the story of the past events . There is nothing bad going back to the memory Lane . Even before any football competition some sports stations takes us back to some great football moment,. Even the fast approaching chan ....that has no specific history , dstv still shows the chan 2014 to welcome chan 2016.

When will learn to relate with one another it will do us some good ....no one is more important than the other on this forum , this is just a faceless forum for all .... Kudus to the great guys in the house that has made this place lively from time to time .funny enough so many people will leave this forum and some will join .but the forum will not leave for us .

One love house !!!

chrisooblog:
Lol old memories. Remember how the commentator screamed his name BARUWA! BARUWA!! BARUWAAA!!!

Funny enough in those years Baruwa was the second best goalkeeper in Africa . I could remember clearly that Edward Ansah the goal keeper of Ghana . He was among the African 11 that played against Europe 11 .

Oga, na wa for u o. U jst dey mix every thing up. I understand cos these are event of abt 3 decades ago. Firstly forgiveness was right abt Rufai featuring at AFCON '84 which was hosted by Ivory Coast. Rufai was nt part of the 1985 U20. The 1985 U20/21 was hosted by USSR and nt Saudi Arabia. The tourney Saudi Arabia hosted was Saudi '89 U21. The penalty shoot-out was against the USSR as u rightly stated but d player in goal for d penalties was Emeka Amadi ( d goalkeeper trainer with d Amuneke's 2015 Eaglets). Seems u too belong to d old school.

I belong to d old school ...lol. It's been long u know . Sometimes I want to have those old videos . But time has not really permit me . Anyways thumbs up to u guys u re d bomb! I can't wait for the Olympic , I foresee my selections of over age making it to the Olympic.

forgiveness:
Your are right about Wole Odegbami.
Prior to 90 Nations Cup, Peter Rufai was outstanding in 84 Nations Cup, he saved 3 out of 5 penalties against Ivory Coast but Onigbinde dropped him in the finals. What happened?

Westerhor can lie for..... he even lied that Etim Essin was a car dealer. Of course, he lied that Rufai refused invitation. If Rufai were at the goal post he would have saved us. What happened when he came back in 1994? You know now?

Icon and forgiveness u ve been great here , you brought about some good old memories .....but It was in saudi 85 at the kingfaad stadium that Peter Rufai shone like a million star after saving some penalty shoot out against U.S.S.R. I think he wasn't part of the team that played in 1984 nations cup . The saudi 85 was the under 21 World Cup , presently the under 20 world cup .how come Rufai was part of the nations cup in 1984?

Wishing all football addict a happy new year !2016 will be great and good for us!!! Love you all !!!

What he "s doing is very risky , at the end he can injure himself and become a liability to the people that gave him the job .I can bet it with u op , if you interrogate this man you will find out he's mentally unstable .

It will be difficult thing to achieve , the only player can comfortably play that role "number 10 " is kelechi NWakali , kelechi Iheanacho would have been able to do it ,but his role in the club has really hampered it like what the poster above me has said ....when okocha was in the super eagles , he played the role comfortably both in the national team and at the club level . Do we really have someone presently who can shoulder the responsibilities that come with the role?

We will know after the end of the season ....they play fantastic football and have one of the best attackers combination at moment , let's see what they can do without Maharez ....he is just the power house.

Well done Ighalo ! Replicate this your form in the national team and we will take you more serious .

Icon4s:
Mayb u jst started following Nigerian football. Ever heard of the following players?: Nwankwo Kanu, Austin Okocha, Emmanuel Amuneke, Celestine Babayaro, Tijani Babangida, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, even d recent Odion Ighalo? All products of our rich youths system.

Don't go there . I ve been following Nigerian football for quite some time , and some of the players you mentioned were not product of grassroot football , but the product of "grassroots hustle" Alaba is a world best 3 ....also another utility player that can play upto 5 roles on the pitch . Mention Just 2 Nigeria player that will play that role successfully in a world class team like Bayern?

Don't get me wrong I am not hating on our youth system , it's in progress and I know it will work , but I see u as someone that is over ambitious . None of the present youth is close to Alaba , even babayaro in his days could nt play more than 2 . Alaba is a product of modern football and he's playing under a modern coach with great philosophy , Guadiola will make any player play any role comfortably .

Icon4s:
What i am telling u is the Nigerian youth system has produced better players than Alaba.

When ? And what is the player name ,Or are you talking about what will happen in the coming future ?

mikron:
is that the cause? True I commented on robosky02's thread in respect of our final match against Algeria on d front page before coming here only to see I was already banned without even typing a comment here, wanted to comment only to notice d ban. So they the mods or antispambot are telling us we can't comment on 2 different sections? Not encouraging

That is the cause . Anytime you leave a particular thread , wait for some time before you comment on another thread , if not anti spam will catch up with u and you will be ban.

But he slept too in front of goal why didn't he score?....He wasn't a threat to Huth and Morgan , they kept him at bay . Even schmeicher was on break through out the first half ....they only knocked at his door twice .
