Indirectly he's taking a bow ....when u want play naija go to oyingbo market , charter plenty basket , ask Brazilian , ask Chilean also ask Australian ....some body should pls finish this lagbaja song .
It means the Mexican coach is questioning the service FIFA has put in place . FIFA said any player that passed the MRI scan at under 17 level is eligible to play at the youth World Cup , so what is he talking about ? I think this coach should be sanctioned . |

Toure wouldn't have said it more better . I know players will wake up especially Naija players . I am tipping Ighalo and iheanacho to take the lead . But age is not on Ighalos side .
Now Toure got tired of the CAF award he wants something more juicy , unfortunately he's in the Era of C.Ronaldo and Midget Messi. |

Just also like the Kpoi!! that James Biri of Zambia heard at the 1994 AFCON Final from Amunke's header. You guys are really bringing back some lovely memories of the Nigeria genius , he has always been a good player , injuries cut short his career , but still he left a good joyful football moment , that when u remember u will just smile. I am not surprised of his achievement , but he needs someone like uduka ugbade to speak plenty grammar to the media . I wish to see him progress . |

@ Joseph , thanks for the update ,the best of iheanacho can be seen if he plays behind a striker , and he can make a yakubu look like lewandoskii. if u watch the highlight of his goal and assists , he made the 2 scorer debruyne and Garcia very comfortable to slot in d goals and he took his chance even when he's not comfortable , compare to the chances debruyne and bony missed . I will want him to keep improving ,because he is not there yet " in icons voice. Nice game though . |

TheSuperNerd: It's clear to me that the full list is yet to hit the media..... Coz it's supposed to be a 24-man list but the list is according to "a decent NFF source" as reported in Complete Sports......
**saw it when Nigeria u-17 were rounding off Victory against The Aussies**
Well, Cool to see Iheanacho and Victor Moses........ I thought Oliseh might not call up Moses because of the last time (though Moses did explain to Oliseh...... Anyway, Whatever....)
In as much as I like Martins and think he needs another chance in the Eagles, honestly I would have preferred seeing an Isaac Success or maybe another chance for Anthony Ujah............
But it's ok, if this list is "truly official" (and I think it is, though I await the "full 24" then Martins just got his chance and if he blows it....... Then Oliseh should just forget about Martins even if he goes back and bang 100 goals in one MLS game....... There's still Success to invite, Ujah to give another look-in, Ideye to check out also, even an Imoh Ezekiel, even Taiwo Awoniyi (who's proven himself with Nigeria's u-23s)........ AND MORE.
Like I once said, Invite Martins but if he doesn't live up to expectations......... Then we move on from him!!!!!!! (NO TIME TO LOSE PLS......). But I'd sooner have an Isaac Success than a Martins in my Team.
Thank God the future is looking "super bright" in our attacking department........... Even "u-17 Goals king, Victor Osimhen" is looking good for a senior call-up after let's say 2.5-3.5 yrs from now.........*smiles*
On the whole, the list looks "powerful" and "really intimidating" and to think we still got other super talents and top players out there not on this list says a lot too.......... **THE RESURGENCE OF THE SUPER EAGLES**
The Glory days are not far now.............. *smiles* I think he only sees Martins as a qualifier material , Oliseh knows that he doesn't need him , if we re to go by his philosophy ,building a team for the future " although, Its a ver ery nice list I must admit , the eagles can come back to d winning ways not just winning but with plenty of goals . Another Nice addition to the team is Hope Akpan , we need a very compact midfield and someone that will do d link up play . |

terzurum5: U-17 World Cup: Golden Eaglets Pair Seek Revenge Against Croatia Golden Eaglets players, John Lazarus and David Enogela, have both expressed their desires in avenging against Croatia when they clash on Friday in their last group game at the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Both teams met in September at the Suwon Invitational Tourney in South Korea, with the Croatians winning 3-2.
The Eaglets pair have promised they and their team-mates will make sure they get their pound of flesh this time.
"We were unlucky against Croatia in Suwon because we were leading them 2-1 until few minutes to the end of the match," Lazarus told the Nigeria Football Federation official website.
"They got a penalty to equalise and the winning goal later and that stopped us from winning the tournament.
"We won't allow that to happen against us on Friday and we will work harder to win."
Enogela added: "We saw in Suwon how physical they (Croatia) can play and I agree with Lazarus that they were lucky to have beaten us.
"We are going to ensure that they don't beat us on Friday and that means we have to be at our best, because they need the result more than us."
The Eaglets would be without defensive midfielder, Udochukwu Anumudu, who was booked against USA and Chile.
They will also be without Funsho Bamgboye who got a red card against Chile.
www.completesportsnigeria.com/u-17-world-cup-golden-eaglets-pair-seek-revenge-against-croatia/ I don't think there is need for revenge , I will implore Amunike to try new players keep the best legs for the knock out stage . Though they need the victory to have a clear 9 points but it's not as important as we can see . The bench can do the magic ! |

terzurum5: Its so annoying and humiliating, that Coach Samson Siasia is making the same statement that Manu Garba made that, 'Kelechi will have to fight for a starting role in the U-23 Squad', in Coach Siasia's words and I quote the article some where above
"Siasia has yet to give such guarantee of Iheanacho starting all the games but insists that the former Eaglet must prove himself to play all games.” What else does this guy need to do to play all the games? Is it physical fitness? (and if you are not sure of his physical condition, just leave him out and look for some 'Hussein Bolt' in the Local League to makeup for the forwards options).
How on earth will you invite someone who is highly rated in his Club to come and sit on the bench for the whole duration of the tournament. Its degradin I suggest they (U-23 Coaches) leave him to enjoy his dev. with his Club for now.
No time for a repeat of that shameful stance any more.
Before a coach assembles his players , he has penned down who and who will make his first 11 , sia1 is just tryn to pass a msg that no player is bigger than the team , that they must follow d rule of d team for player selection . This will make everyone of them work . It's just away to psyche them to do well . |

safarigirl: Has anyone else noticed that this year's competition is weak compared to 2013?
I mean, even in our group, despite the awesomeness of Manu's boys, we still had to wait the last game to determine who tops the group, and there were teams on 4 points placing 3rd. This year, with an arguably average team compared to the last set, we've already secured top spot and it won't be surprising if 2 points can secure you best 3rd place.
And let me not harp on the weakness of the Argentine team, abeg if their U20 and U17 teams are this bad, who will take over from Messi and co? I ve noticed that too . But in 2 matches Manu Garba boys conceded 4 goals , but scored total number of 9goals But Amunike boys has only conceded 1 goal but scored 7 goals in 2 matches . By this so far it means manu's boys has a very weak defense on paper . . So far Amuneke has not done bad . |

princechinedu: Things are gradually falling apart.....
Funny, but its annoy for a coach to say this...
You still don't believe or accept he has retired, you are waiting for him to officailly write to you and NFF.....
I see no personal relationship btw coach and player, if not you would have called him on phone immediately you saw or heard about his post just to show concern, instead you came up to the media to tell us you were shocked.......
This SUNDAY DUDE GAT JOKES I listened to the interview , he did the right thing , he called Emenike immediately but he said he didn't pick his call , I hope Emenike will return the call .... Let's be realistic here , Emenike is a lazy player mentally , I expected him to find a way to improve on his game and become a useful striker to his club and his country , but he bowed to pressure , this speaks a lot about him . It's quite unfortunate that Enyeama retired 2weeks earlier , but that will not stop the eagles , we have So many strikers that can play in that position , but Enyeama will be missed not Emenike . |
