neyobills:You clearly have a blind agenda here.....I guess, you believe the High Court and the Appeal Court are wrong on this subject having reached a ruling that invalidates your position? Because, of your efforts to justify your blindness, you keep burying yourself under unnecessary rubbish....There are no rules in the Military that abridges any Nigerian Citizen's right...There is the Armed Forces ACT that is annexed to the constitution and it is the law and the Military is guided by laws enacted in the Armed Forces ACT...All their rules must be in conformity with the ACT. The ACT clarifies and expand upon what is in the Constitution and is in line with it....The Senate cannot make any law or ACT that invalidates the constitution, the Courts will strike that ACT down, if anyone challenges it. There are no law or ACT stating that the Senate or Senate Committee have the power to suspend another Senator. Yes they can have ethic committee and proffer rules and regulations that bids them together, and can also come up with disciplinary actions to straighten erring members; An Appeal Court have ruled that Suspension as a disciplinary action violates the rights of the constituents been represented and as we speak, that ruling is the LAW OF THE LAND, until the Senates appeals to the Supreme Court and obtain a reversal....The Appeal Court was not even concern about the right of the Senator being suspended, rather it was the right of the constituents that has been deprived of representation...meaning the injured party when a Senator is suspended are the citizens in his ward and state, who now lack representation granted them by the constitution. There are many ways to punish erring Senate members without violating the Appeal Court ruling, if you hit them where is pains most e.g. their pocket book, remove them from committee appointments, stripe them off seniority, take privileges away from them, etc. |
neyobills:You clearly are the intellectually bankrupt one, if you think that, because the suspension resulted from a Senate Ethic committee recommendations, therefore it supersedes an Appellant Court ruling that, the Senate does not have the power to suspend one of their own because it violates the rights of his/her constituents to be fully represented. The high court ruled that, they cannot suspend beyond 14 days, the Appeal Court reversed that and held that, they can’t even suspend for a single day. Until they appeal that ruling to the Supreme Court, any disciplinary action taken involving the suspension of a colleague is invalid and unconstitutional and it is not me saying that, it is the Courts who are vested with the powers to interprete the constitution that stated that in their order. |
neyobills:You don’t understand the superseding nature of conflicting laws. Did you read the Appellant case I quoted for you? How does the jurisdiction of the committee to suspend a member supersede a court order, clearly saying they don’t have the power to do so. Hon. Danna was suspended by a committee who thought like yourself that, they have the power to do so, but the Appeal Court disagreed with them and reversed them. Reconcile the Appeal Court order with your position, unless you think the court was in error. |
asobo:Majority does not mean they were right, I don’t hate anyone and I don’t have any dog in this fight and I truly don’t care what happens and don’t happen, it will not affect me in any shape or form. The Appeal Court in House of Assembly vs. Hon. Danna had ruled that, they don’t have the power to suspend a fellow member, even for one day. It is their duty to obey court orders, that is my point. The Appeal Court ruled that, doing so violates the Nigeria Constitution...And the Constitution is superior to any Senate rules, provisions, votes or committee resolution. The Senate brought this upon themselves by refusing to obey a Court Order...You can be in the profession of making laws while at the same time disobeying the law and valid court orders. If they felt the court order was wrong, they should have obey it, then appeal or ask for a stay and if a stay is not grant amend their internal rules to conform to the court order until a higher court rule otherwise. |
neyobills:O boy! Hope say your school fees was not wasted? What you quoted is the constitutional duty of the House or Senate to investigate matters, ministries or people for...with respect to which it has power to make laws. No way did it state that, they can suspend a colleague. That power is only reserved over things they have power over to make laws...The Senate can make laws over citizens, ministries;but they cannot make laws over Senate or the President, etc. By your assertions, if you apply that section, it means that the Senate can suspend anybody including the AGN, the President. The Court have ruled on this question and considering this constitution section and sided against the Senate...google and read ‘House of Assembly v. Hon. Danna’....they were told to their face by the appellant court that, they don’t have the right to suspend a member period! |
neyobills:My point is, the ethic community does not have the power to Suspend a Senator. The constitution is superior to any ethic community or policies of the Senate...that was the ruling of the Appeal Court. |
asobo:They did it in contravene of an existing court ruling that, the Senate does not have the right to suspend another Senate. Doing so, will be violating the democratic rights of his/her constituents to be represented. If the Senate felt that, a fellow member broke the law, after the committee finding, they can vote to refer the matter to the AG for prosecution and the whole Senate can vote to confirm. |
In most Nigerian homes, having babies is expected unless otherwise agree to prior. And if they don’t start coming after a reachable wait period, then pressure from internal and external will start building up your attractions will fast become a secondary item. |
Not everything is a joke. You just confessed to a murder... I can refer this to the necessary authorities and they will come and invite you to the station to elaborate more....then you will start blaming village people. Never be deceived by ‘internet anonymity’ there is nothing like that, it is a fallacy that have ruined the lives of many, who had trusted it. |
Omooba77:and you said it is not a cult? One of the rules in cult is you can't leave or they will attach very stringent condition to leaving....If you state that, one must remove their house when they leave..., definitely no one is going to leave. Why not give them the land freely with out conditions, just like they are giving their tithes and offerings? Or is the church going to return the tithe and offerings when members leave? |
Jatinzbusinessc:I truly commend the guy, this is good riddance to bad rubbish. Legally Saraki can do nothing, except organize his own thugs in NASS against this guy. Why is NASS calling for due process now? They don’t obey due process, the court of Appeal in House of Assembly v. Danna had ruled that, it is illegal to suspend a representative even for a single day that, it violates the democratic right of his/her constituent who sent him/her there to represent them. NASS does not belong to Saraki and none of the Senators work for him or have to support a uniform agenda of NASS, each Senator is the voice of his/her constituents and not all States voted for/against Buhari, some are avid supporters of Buhari, some don’t like his shadow... but all these views from all the states that make up our federations unit must be allowed to be aired in the NASS and you cannot suspend a rep for airing a different view, plus the rep towed the peaceful route and apologize, which he should not have, and you still suspend him in the face of a court order that says you don’t have authority to do so....and now you are crying due process? I doubt they will take him to court, because this will unravel in front of their faces...the side that have the best thug will win...quite ironic saying this about a body that suppose to be about the rule of law. |
jwals:Dude, Stop pulling stuff from your ass, no where is it mentioned in the constitution, try study something yourself before you ask others to do. If you think, it exists, I challenge you to quote it... Meanwhile, these are recent count cases on this issue: Dino v. House of Rep: Fed. High Court Declares that indefinite Suspension of Reps are illegal and that it should not exceed 14 days. The highest count that have spoken about this, is the Court of Appeal and in: House of Assembly v. Danna; the Court of Appeal declares that: “A legislative house in Nigeria is not competent to suspend a member even for a single day as it is a violation of the democratic rights of members of his/her constituency” If it is coded in the constitution as you falsely claimed the Appeal court will not have reversed the House and even back my previous assertions... Thank God someone had challenged this illegality in the Court, but we all know that Nigeria is a lawless country, where even the three arms of government disobey court orders...and treat them as mere opinions to be followed only when convenient. |
You already have your first patient. Your success or failure in your chosen career path, will depend on your abilities to use your acquired know-hows to convince her otherwise. |
The lady looks more like a transgender though. Maybe, the guy just can’t get that off his mind and still treat him as a dud, who must hustle on his own term, including getting his own umbrella. Or the guy just felt that, holding an umbrella for another dud can easily be misinterpreted and he want to distant himself. |
Are mine the only one that find it weird that, the lady slept fully cloth that way? Very much looked like, she got up in the middle of the night and put on her clothes or might have come back from a late night party completely spent and unable to do anything else other than to find the bed....or an olosho who came visiting. |
lestat:No pressure my man, I understand you...I truly did not understand it before and had called them many unprinted names. Until through and patiently seating and listening without sprouting out my pre conceived notions before I started to understand that, there are some that truly and naturally might be born that way and I started deferring to them. Because, as a guy; I honestly believe that nothing can make a guy deny himself of voluptuous beautiful lady’s solace and instead a guy, unless there is something else beyond my understanding, which could be very true. Don’t get me wrong, there are fake ones, just like there are fake straights....there are also some who do it to make ends meet or to get papers just like they are some heterosexual marriage which are entered into solely to make ends meet or for papers. |
alexxo11:With all seriousness British Airways is not own by the government and neither is American Airlines. They are both own by private indigenous companies with zero government stack. British Airways is own by International Airlines Group, the same company own Iberia Airline. American Airline is own by a publicly traded company called American Airlines Group. |
lestat:So you agreed that, God might have created some so, just like he created the animals that you referenced that eats their young ones. Didn’t God himself say, all his creatures are beautiful? Why despise some, when all need the same saving Grace by him? You might say, yes we are all sinners and equally guilty, but why don’t they change? Jesus says, he that has not sinned should cast the first stone...we are all sinners and need his Grace, He alone understands and He alone can save. |
Dollipsejay:It’s fast becoming to Nigeria, what California is to the US in terms of economy. |
Bluetooth2:The Bank is negligent, they failed to file the incident with MasterCard within the required 60 days. The guy reported to MasterCard, who then responded and asked the bank to file the incident with them within 60 days, which the bank neglected to do. MasterCard would have issued a refund as card holders are protected from fraudulent uses. As to who actually exposed his card info, I doubt if he can proof that, but on the negligence front, he will win. My guest is, first bank will pay him off to kill the case as I don’t see any benefit for them either they win or loss. |
hillsiderfak:Not necessary, Nigeria do not need to own a National carrier, they only need to create a stable and comfortable environment for Nigeria indigenous Airlines to strive and make all foreign countries accord them the reciprocal treatment we given their National Airlines. US does not have a National carrier and UK does not either. |
Mynd44:She can be pardoned and her slate wipe clean by the President. |
Does the constitution supports the Senate’s right to suspend the people’s representatives without a court of law? These guys were elected to represent their constituents, don’t get me wrong, they are only representing their pockets and their special interests, but that is a matter for another day...here by the Senate suspending them, the Senate it’s is depriving his constituents their constitutional rights to be full represented at the Senate. Wish someone can test the legal muzzle of this in a court of law. Things like these should be of interest to intelligent young and new lawyers, who want to make a name for themselves. |
anonymuz:Am trying to figure that out too, please mention me if you get the answer before I do! Boy!!!! And they don’t even warm people that, such pictures are coming, how can one unseen this now? Let me go watch my eyes in some ice cold water! |
I doubt if she is actually cheating you. When ladies, it does not matter if married or unmarried goes to the market to shop for e.g. foodstuff, they don’t only buy foodstuffs...they usually come across something else intentional or unintentionally they had been wanting to get and they will add it to the menu. Also, when you go to shop; you may just buy Maggie just for the meal at hand, but they may buy a supply that will last longer. They also may go for a more quality fish, meat, ingredients, etc than you. By default men thinks quantitatively while women thinks qualitatively. So, she is invariably saving you from been hit with additional demands like...bae, I need money for makeup or money for bra, etc....if you start monitoring or micro managing her, something somewhere would have to give to accommodate for the new paradigm shift and you are going to feel the pain in some other areas, which was otherwise comfortable before now. Secondly, she is preparing you to be a real man, this is how it is out there, so be grantful to her for giving a glimpse; this valuable lesson will prevent you from starting off unnecessary confrontations with your future wife. You can playfully bring it to her attention, but don’t make the mistake of taking over that duty or micro managing her. |
ubunja:Police can’t help her, if she is married in Nigeria she is out of law. According to Nigeria laws, a man properly married to his wife either under customary or statutory law is incapable of raping the wife. The Nigeria law clearly states that....In Nigerian laws, rape can only occurred when one or both parties are not married. Though depending on the degree of force involved in committing the ‘rape’ assault charges can be brought against the man. |
godwinb23:More than half of the Nigeria National Assembly can’t sing it either and they make laws that governs the whole country. |
Tellemall:From the background, she gave birth most likely in the U.S.A. or U.K. The hospital take care of the funeral of stillborn babies, they only require the parents to sign off and to elect either cremation or burial. No funding is required from the parents for the hospital to do this, only that....if the parent are able, they can optionally make any donation of their wish towards this effort. Their donation is not a requirement to carry out the funeral only their signature and funeral type is needed. There is also option to donate it for research purposes, it is burst to stem cell researchers and cures of tomorrow. |

Shedrack777:Those who lives in glasses house, should stop throwing stones, or at least put some efforts into removing the pimples on their faces first, before attempting to remove same from others. One will think that, this golden rule will ring true for most people, especially for someone from Daura as urgly as below....with pimples ravaged face, distorted mouth, sunken eyes, shapeless jaw, pufpuf chin, oblong forehead, larger than life nose with orifice the size of zuma rock , obtuse head, etc...

CaptJeffry:They have catches 12 of the suspects and from the Police Report, they are singing like nightingale, of what use is his service? |
