saaron:I guest all security agencies in the US that had concluded that Russian interfered must be ‘Hillary gang’? What about the bipartisan Russian Sanctions passed by both democrats and Republicans, both in the House and in the Senate against Russian and Trump refused to implement, are they ‘Hillary Gang’ too or you think him responding to an event that took place in UK will give him more political cloth compare him ignoring congressional sanctions against Russian? Robert Muller who have secured the pleas of many who where in his camp before must be in ‘Hillary Gang’....or all the people who where in his camp before and now cooperating with Muller must be in ‘Hillary Camp’. The only obvious reason Trump did this is to blunt the media coverage about 60 minutes interview of porn star Stormy Daniels, which aired over the weekend about her escapee with Trump...he plan on sucking some air off that discussion to give people some other things to talk about. |
Follow your heart. If you believe you have a calling go for it...it is better you offend humans than to disobey God. That aside, whenever someone threatens you that, they will disobey God, if you don’t yield to their demand, know that, that threat is of the devil and you must not yield to their demand. Based on your narratives, your wife is a Christian and she definitely will know that, divorce is not of God and God commanded that, what He has joined together, let no one put asunder. Now, for her to then start using divorce as a threat, is definitely out of line and of the devil and you should not do what she is asking of you. If she does not want you to go into ministry, there many godly ways to persuade you and not by threatening to disobey God by abandoning her home. |
Invite another girl over and see how she reacts...all ladies have a natural instinct to protect the territory they feel belongs to them, use it to your advantage. |
If you can’t stand your grounds and say NO to someone you described as a nuisance, a parasite and a pest that adds zero value to your life; a.m. wondering how you will be capable of wearing the trousers in your home, when you get marry. Grow your spine for a change and tell him to fvck off, if you have to get drunk in order to summon the courage to do it, go ahead....just stop whining like a pvssy. |
Reeb2244:I think we are saying the same thing. If dumping him is harder to begin with, going through his phone will make it much more harder if your suspicions are validated that he is cheating. You will go through unnecessary pains and emotional trauma and some have never come back, never trust another since it happen to them; others quit on life prospects, opportunities and career, while few quit on life itself and take their life. On the other hand, if he was not cheating; your actions will offend him. You have proven to him that, you don’t trust him; he therefore have every reason to distrust you in return. Your little adventurous curiosity have succeeded in sowing the seed of distrust in your relationship, which will be nurtured continually until it blossomed out of hand. As you can see, it is a loss-loss situation, there is no upside. That is why, when you start suspecting him quit or confront him or wait until you can summon the inner strength to do either or both. |
Why is no one asking the obvious questions? Why must she steal his phone? Does the phone belong to her? What happens to privacy? If she suspects him of cheating, it means there is no longer trust in the relationship. If you no longer trust the other party in a relationship dump them already. Life is too short to be going through emotional non senses like thus. |
LibertyRep:Imagine appealing a minor case regarding mere serving of papers up to the Supreme Court? I think they should change the rules regarding serving papers. If Lawyers appear to defend you regarding wrong service or lack of service, it means they are representing you, so the rule should allow the plaintiff to serve you through your lawyers right there in the court. Then the case can proceed, so it can be heard and determined based on merit instead of running the clock with all these delay tactics. |
IVORY2009:Oga, your case tire person; you just keep dancing around the circle, moving the goal post and contradicting yourself, all to remain relevant. Listen no one knows everything and it is actually a good quality to accept that one is wrong, as you learn more through that... It is not prejudiced to comment on matters before the court, SR, Nairaland, Myself do not have any privilege information regarding this case; only the attorneys directly involved in the case do, so it is totally legal and non-prejudice to discuss these matters. In fact, it is important we discuss them because they are public. You did not find it prejudicial when, you first commented and blamed SR for wrong reporting and requested for proof... IVORY2009: Sahara reporter again, what proof do they have that Mr. Ekewremadu is the actual owner of the said properties, if you can proof beyond reasonable doubt, with evidence, so be it, if not.... it remains a propaganda as usual..When you were given the proof, you did not find it prejudicial, but attacked and minimized the proof; stating it could be faked and that, they should be taken to the court... IVORY2009: Then let them take it to court, as far as I am consign there are no courts "ONLINE", anybody can snap pictures and upload online, and trust Saharareports for who they are....I am not saying, it is not possible for a public savant to steal, yes its, but let the courts do its work...Now you noticed that, the proof has been tendered and the matter is in the court, you pulled 'prejudice'...You should have accepted that you are wrong, even if SR had been wrong in the past, for going against them here and seeing that, their report is accurate, you should have given them credit. Plus, courts does decipher truth, it is called 'Court of Justice' and not 'Court of Truth' for obvious reasons. You can steal and be caught red handed by a camera in a broad day light and can be declared not guilty in a court of law, even when the court or Judge did not cut corners. Because it is the duty of the prosecuting authorities to proof beyond any reasonable doubt that you are guilty of the crime been accused of. And, a camera does not proof anything, it must be entered into the record in accordance with the rules of evidence, and if the prosecutor made error on any of the rules of evidence, the camera evidence can be tossed.... It must also be validly authenticated, preserved, etc...otherwise, the court has no choice than to declare you not guilty especially if you have competent defense team...but it does not mean that the person is innocent of the crime charged, it just that the prosecution though have some proof, but they could not sustain their bundle of that proof beyond reasonable doubts.... and this is why the courts use the phrase 'Not Guilty' instead of 'Innocent'. |
IVORY2009:The matter is already in court and that he owns those properties is no longer news, in the Federal Government suite to seize his 22 hidden properties, these Florida and London homes were cited in the Government Schedule B form of the properties they desire to seize. The news that SR is reporting is that, Ike is trying to circumvent the efforts of the government to recovery these properties by selling them and listing them in the market for sales. If you match the address of the properties on Government Schedule B in case#FHC/ABJ/CS/284/2018 and do a google search online, you will see that, some have been sold or listed for sale... See: https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/262665-nigerian-govt-seeks-to-seize-hidden-assets-allegedly-belonging-to-ekweremadu.html |
IVORY2009:They gave you proof above and you gloss over it. Property ownership and tax records are open to the public, most counties have these information for free online, if not online a visit to the local county office can get you the info or a paid search service online can do the same. SR cited property tax info, a mere google search can point to the county records with these info, it’s not rock science. If you want to hide your loot or properties, the US is the very worst place to go do that. US businessmen trying to hide their loot go to the Caymen Islands, Cook Islands & Belize and ignorant Nigerian looters heads to the US to ‘hide’ theirs. |
Neminc:Retirement does not have any bearing on political appointments. The guy just used that excuse to get out of Trump’s cabinet. His replacement is not in the service. Since inauguration Trump loses about two high profile appointees each month, plus he is still not able to fill many senior positions, because people just refused to work with him. His lead Lawyer against Mueller investigation also quit this month. |
Ladyhippolyta88:You say 6? They are more than 30 notable people, this is a partial list...at least 2 people leaves each month, plus he is finding it difficult to fill many vacancies as many professionals has declined to work with him https://www.google.com/amp/abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics/list-officials-left-trump-administration/story%3fid=49334453 |
Shugavee:Engagement ring is not a gift....you agreed to marry the guy, hence he gave it to you. If you had said NO to his proposal, he would not have given you the ring, therefore once the prospect of marrying becomes a NO, it should be returned. If the guy sues, he will get his ring or monetary compensation back. |
Suaimhneas:An engagement ring by definition is not a gift. It was given in anticipation of a specific event to occur in the future. It given conditional, remember that before giving the ring you asked something along the lines of...’Baby will you marry me?’...you gave her the ring because she said YES, if her response was NO, she wouldn’t have gotten the ring...likewise, if along the line it become a NO, legally the ring should be returned. Even if you didn’t ask her the above question, legally engagement rings are given conditional. Ideally, the lady should return it, but if she does not the guy can forget it, but if the guy sued her, he will get the ring back or monetary compensation. |
DWJOBScom:If the lady is above 18, she is considered an aldukt by our legal system and the father can’t get a restraining order restricting her association. The father can restrict the guy from visiting his home, but that would not hinder the relationship. Using his influence and have the police lock him up for a night or two, will frighten the weak at heart, but for many; that will take the whole relationships into a clandestine mode. |
O boy all 36/38 bra size are not the same oh! Since, you have gone this detail, why not also include the cup size? 36B is not the same as 36D oh, and there is even 36DD and 36E. |
jey4all:Nonsense! The cold sanctifies it and makes it unabominable? You think the the Israelites and early Christians were all living in tropical climates? What about other churches like Deeper Life in U.K. & US, who still maintain that doctrine? |

Goes to show that, you can never please women...If you don’t make a lot of money because you are moderately employed, so you can have more time for them, more time to visit the gym and build those staying power stamina to satisfy them during bedmatic, they will cheat on you with the guy that have money. If you now make up your mind and start working hard to be as rich as the guy they are cheating on you with...once the millions start flowing in and your business start demanding your time; they will turn around and cheat on you with the next gym-rat, ‘because he is giving it to them like they want it. My stop wasting your time trying to satisfy them... Do your thing and enjoy the life that you have now! |
BluntTheApostle:I understand your point, but that is not what the law says... Criminal Code of 1990: Provides for a 14-year prison sentence for homosexual acts involving either men or women. Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act of 2014: 1. Provides for prison sentences of 10 years for Nigerians belonging to a gay organization, supporting same-sex marriages, or displaying same-sex affection in public. 2. Provides for up to 14 years in prison for any Nigerian who marries a member of the same sex. You don’t have to be caught in the Act to be charged or convicted, the Prosecution only has to prove beyond reasonable doubts based on circumstantial $ physical evidence that one violated any of the code and publicly acknowledging that you violated the code or incriminating yourself can be brought as evidence against you, that plus evidence of your lifestyle, friends, circumstance, etc are enough to sustain the charge leading to a conviction. |
I thought there is a law against gay relationships in Nigeria? What more evidence does the government need than this unprovoked self confession? Abi the law is only for the poor, who can’t afford a decent lawyer and publicity? |
All these nite bus bloggers, never get their gossip straight.... was he jumped becos he critized someone on Facebook or becos he is bleeding someone’s gf? |
Akerry:In this case, it is difficult to discern, who is not reliable Daily Post vs JAMB....But, Daily Post quoted JAMB Head of Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin...unless, they must be lying against him. |
Akerry:http://dailypost.ng/2018/03/20/jamb-confirms-release-2018-utme-results-see-check/ But, this is Nigeria and anything goes.....so the 2pm can be Africa time for any time, any day, any week or even month....but it gives a yardstick with which to hold them accountable, if not done and cuts down on their excuses. |
Frenzy007:Ok, I just checked yours; it still not yet out..just chill till 2pm as JAMB indicated....it just about 20 minutes away. Good way to take your mind off? Maybe some 20 minutes workout exercise or something. |
klemmy:Why do people come on Nairaland and ask others to check their jamb scores for them? I have seen several of these posts and truly does not understand the rationale. If you can come to www.nairaland.com to post, you can also go to: http://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility/CheckUTMEResults to check your result unless there is something am missing. |
Him go first the ppl wey enter economy reach South Africa? Abi na him go land before the others land? Abi na him passport Oga custom officer must to stamp before others? |
talk2percy:lol So you ma, how you take know say Nigeria bi like hell, abi ‘u don go live for hell before’? |
Look as their face dey fresh like early morning Agege bread.......you such say na Libya dem cum from so? |
Ehuatamuigunisi:Yes, they can as all workers are ‘at will employee’ by default in Nigeria. But, it is against the law to base employment, promotion and sack on gender. Don’t get me wrong, many companies do it, but it is usually covert. But, when a company sacks 90 of their staff and 100% of them are female, the sack is overtly gender based and motivated and it is illegal. There are many covert ways to achieve the same goal. |
GeeString:I clearly know he ran against 7 other candidates, but they were not opponents in any meaningful sense of that word. These 7 candidates were light weights with zero Broadbased candidacy to mount any threat to his ambitions. Putin made sure his cloth did not contest, do a google search, I don’t want to spoon feed you here. The guy got 75%, the closest other person got 13%.....you will agree that, this was just a show and not a contest talkless of an election. |
pinnket:You seem clueless as to what the Political climate in Russian is and how Putin deal with opposing views. He didn’t have any opponent in this election, so he won by default. |
