edwardACTIVIST:Vice President does not have any power or influence, it is a glorified position... Unless everyone of them inclusive of the President will have equal powers and issues are resolved with a simple majority vote. |
I will give it to Pythagoras, Einstein build on his foundation and know fully well that the alphabet has been previously used. He should have respected precedence and use something else. More so, Einstein must have checked out on intelligence, when he was thinking of the letters to use to represent his findings, otherwise why after using ‘E’ for energy and ‘m’ for mass will he settled and use ‘c’ for speed of light? It does not follow logic or common sense.... |
MIKOLOWISKA:Am sorry, it’s not ridiculous.... |
okestev:Don’t confuse the issues, no one is attacking anyone. I am simply quoting the scriptures, the Bible say we should study them to show ourselves approved of God, a workman not ashamed of the gospel but rightly interpretating and teaching the words of God. If you think am wrong, please correct me. The Philosophers questioned and debated Paul, he never threaten or curse them and never felt attacked...he used the same scriptures to win them to Christ. When Philip was confronted by the Ethiopian eunuch he did not feel attacked, Philip started with the same scriptures and preached the gospel of Christ to him. After Paul & Salis preached to them, the Berea Christians did not take Paul & Salis’ words at the surface level, the Bible stated that; they went home and studied the scriptures and search to see if what Paul & Salis said were true. Brother, don’t accept scriptures from anyone at the surface level, even if they are your spiritual Goliath like Paul & Salis, go home...begin with those same scriptures and search if what they said is true. Lest you forget, no one goes to heaven on account of the souls they were used by God to win or on account of any of their righteous works. We are all sinners inspite of that and can only be saved by his blood. We are all different tools in God’s workshop and He uses us as he pleases and to whatever extend as he pleases...The hammer is not better than the pencil or more important because it is stronger or used more often by the carpenter, each have their proper place and function and one can’t replace the other. Back to the scriptures at hand, go and study that same scriptures and see that Pastor Adebayo misinterpreted and misapplied that Scriptures. What he intended was not what Jesus implied with that scriptures...the person to strike the sherpherd there was God and not an adversary...and God deliberately intended to strike the sherpherd so that, the sheep can be scattered and carry the gospel with them.,..bros study the Bible in them ye think ye have eternal life. |
This is another gross misinterpretation and application of God’s words. In Math. 26:31, Jesus used the word in a positive light and there was not adversary intended...The full quote states... “ This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: "'I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.'” “ The passage was saying God himself will ‘strike’ the shepherd and the sheep shall be scattered, this was deliberate and intended, so they can go around the to preach the Good news to the ends of the world. This is exactly what happened. When Jesus was crucified, the Bible said, they clustered around Jerusalem and were unwilling to leave until God ‘strike’ them with persecution which cause them to flee, we all remembered the gentleman call Saul, when became Paul that God used to ‘strike’ them. |
GrammarNazi1:’Am’ is an auxiliary verb ‘to be’ expressing a state of mind... I used it to express my current state of mind and it’s different from “I’m” which is a contraction of “I am” So....’Am surprise’....is correct. |
GrammarNazi1:Mr. Grammar Nazi, you too need some lessons on grammar....’Am surprise you are taking....” Is present continuous....’Am’ is an auxiliary verb ‘to be’ expressing a state of mind... I used it to express my current state of mind and it’s different from “I’m” which is a contraction of “I am” |
Godyke:Am surprise you are taking a myopic view on this. The best and enduring education is not the one impacted on you by your teachers, but the one sought by yourself, driven by an inner desire and hunger. The internet is a vast avenue capable of feeding that hunger and drive, it will enable students to strive beyond the four walls of their classrooms or the limitations of their teacher’s repetitive and tired lesson notes. They will have opportunities and reseviour of knowledge only limited by their drives and desires. At early age, they will be able to see what their peers globally are doing and capable of, making them more apt to compete in the emerging global market place. Smartphones are ubiquitous these days even in Nigeria, the price point of these devices keep coming down and they are no longer the exclusive reserve of the rich. Agreed, social misfits will take advantage of it to further their nefarious activities, but that is not enough to deter it. We don’t stop building highways and bridges because Armed Robbers use them to commit their nefarious activities and as such, these concerns should not deter building the information high way or making it more accessible to more Nigerians. Knowledge is power and advantage. |
Earthbound:I thought JAMB is just a candidate rating system, there is no pass or fail. It’s just a system that rates all the candidates that took the exam in a particular year, against each other and their preference courses and chosen tertiary institutions vi-sa-vi available seats in the chosen courses/institutions. That is why a combination of intelligence and prior due-diligence research, is needed so you can chosen a tuff aka course/institution combinations where your rating may likely scale better, compare to other similarly situated candidates. |
LivingFree:Though you ladies don’t overtly admits it, you covertly seeks the validation of men. If 100 women commends your beauty, dressing or fashion, but just one man disapproves; the one disapproval stings and lingers more than the 100 approvals. |
Where you bleeped up was beating her. Otherwise, if your marriage is statutory you can sue the Zenith Bank Manager for breaking up your marriage and he will be found liable and subject to damages and maybe prison terms. The only issue is, your wife can sue you for assault and get you locked up as well. You have to decide, if you have to keep fighting over spilled milk including wasting additional money on time on legal action or just cut your loses. |
Lordspenzo:That is not true. The European Countries have indicated that they will stand by the deal and Iran have agreed that, they will keep it. The European Countries have started looking into ways to protect their companies that do business with Iran. Those companies have protection to also do business in the US and there is nothing Trump can do about it, because they are protected by bilateral agreements between US and those countries and any attempt to disadvantage them in the US will cause US companies in Europe to suffer the consequences. Trump is ill prepared to be President and his actions are juvenile driven only by hate. US still need many other countries to exist. Trump stupidly announced teriff increase on China and when China retaliated, Washington is trying to play the teriff they announced down and not to implement them. In a global trade war, America losses big time! Almost everything used in the US is imported. America rely heavily on cheap labor abroad to service her extravagant life style. If you cut off that source of cheap labor, they wouldn’t be able to sustain spiral downward that will occur. Take the simple case of iPhone, which is manufactured in China with cheap labor of about $2.9/hr minimum wage, compare to US minimum wage of about $8/hr...meaning on account of labor alone, if the iPhone were to be manufactured in the US, the current price of $1,000 will be around $3,500....then add the other costs of running manufacturing business in US e.g. rent, power, etc...no one will be able to afford an iPhone...what do you think will happen to Apple? All these America companies will start falling one after the other like flies. |
Does this mean a bag of rice will now be N5,000? What about exchange rate? Will that now become N180? |
kolawoleibukun1:Pakistan have nukes, your point again? |
silastemplar:I don’t trust the North Korean move at all. Until Kim allow independent inspectors to come in and give him a clean bill, my opinion is; he is doing all these as a strategy to unify the whole of the Korean Pennisula under a single rule and sideline the Americans. |
uzobaby:He did cite that Iran was not keeping to its side of the deal, quite the opposite. He was just trying to bully Iran in order to seek more con-censor that were not part of the deal and Iran rebuffed him. The European countries will continue with the deal and without them, US sanctions against Iran will be waste of space and empty. Obama was able to force Iran against their wishes to come to the negotiating table because of the international coordinating sanctions. All the UN Sanctions has been removed and Trump cannot restate them and those were the sanctions that were affecting Iran the most. |
TechZiga:1% is a mere rounding error for the first place position with 16 million sales, while the next competiting number is 5.4millions. Meaning, if you deduct African sales from the numbers, nothing will change. |
maternal:Percentage of immigrants that commit acts harmful to their host countries is not greater than average percentage of same crime committed by natural born citizens. And some of these immigrants do commit crimes in US, Canada and Europe and these facts had not made any of these countries ban these programs outright, rather it makes to refine their selection progresses in order to weed out potential troublesome ones. Trump was not successful in banning any country from entering the US, his executive order was struck down by Appellant Courts in the US. The Supreme Court heard the arguments last month and their ruling will come around June/July before they go on recess. Based on the outcome of the oral arguments and the tint of the current Supreme Court towards the Right, it appear that the Supreme Court might side with him to some extent but not because of the facts. Saudi supposes terrorism a great deal and nine of hijackers that hit the World Trade Center in NYC in 2001 are Saudis, but Saudi Arabia was not one of the ban countries...but Sudan made the list until removed, then Chad plus two other countries were added |
If they blocked the highway robbing travellers of their belongings, why could the items robbed not listed or displayed along with their weapons and charms as the custom is with pictures like these? These are likely local vigilante groups guiding their communities against the parasitic herdsmen. |
walozanga:You know this, how? |
ishowdotgmail:Na mouka foam na him full inside that white bra so....if you take that package home, you will be greatly disappointed after unwrapping it, if ‘Fuller b00ms’ were your buying considerations. If she wan copy person, why she no expose that thing like the person e dey copy, so we can be a better judge of features by features, including fuller b00ms or the lacks thereof? |
Gaddafithe2nd:But, they can’t stop Asylum seekers from Nigeria that will be discrimination, just like Trump is finding it tough to enforce his ‘moslem ban in the US’, the government end up spending lots of money in court over many years defending their actions and also been cast in a bad light by many other countries. More so under, international laws especially, the 1951 Refugee Convention, Canada cannot ban Nigeria Asylum seekers, rather it must process each application in good faith, fairness and in accordance with it’s domestic laws. They will be forced to take in their asylum applications and process them through the system. This though will increase the workload, scrutiny and may lead to some genuine cases been denied and some fraudulent ones beating the system. |
INDUSTRIALFAN:She lied about the friend that was a higher offense with more consequences. Had it been she was truthful and said, the weapons are hers and states that, she intent to make small more on the side why studying, the officer would have been more lenient and just deny her entry and depending on the officer and his/her mood, they would have in addition advised her to go seek a business visa. |
INDUSTRIALFAN:If they established a business intent, they will deport her also on account of the weavon along. Impounding items or fining travelers is for bringing in excess or prohibited items that don’t contradict the intent if their visa....if a Green Card holder had brought in same amount of weavon, they would had impound them and fine her or fine her, have her pay import duties and release the items back to her, because a Green Card visa supports business ventures. If she had told the interviewing officer is Lagos that, by the way...she is a hair dresser and intent to make small small change while in the US from hair dressing, she would not had been given a visa, because that intent contradicts a student visa; same thing the immigration agent would have established, they will politely tell her to go back to Nigeria and apply for business visa. |
INDUSTRIALFAN:Not true, she still would have been deported on account of the weavon alone. Because the circumstantial evidence clearly points to commercial intents, but catching her in a lie is not circumstantial, she was caught in the very act, which carries more weight and self evident. |
GavelSlam:You can be checked after collecting your bags and before leaving the custom area. |
Sexytemi:Even at that, there are limits lawfully you can carry for personal use, certainly not two boxes that is automatically flagged as business; which contradicts her visa application and intents fir traveling. If you are going to the US for business, apply for business visa, if it to work apply for work visa and if you are going for study, then don’t bring with you anything that will suggest that you want to engage in business or look for work. E.g. chat your phone chat history, emails, etc and remove anything that would betray your visa designated intents for traveling and you should not have resume on your person, belongings, phone or laptop. |
biacan:Now I know that some are just dumb and no amount of information or education can undo that birth defect... You must have read above how the lady tried coveting all the husband’s properties to herself, but the husband refused, thus infuriating the lady and accusation of infidelity against the lady and her killing the husband...but you somehow draw the ‘...he cheated..” from your azz. |
hushshinani:Constitutional, they do...but this is Nigeria, where the constitution, rule of law and court orders are only met to be obeyed by the less connected in society. |
Donsammi:Interesting never knew that before....you learn everyday. Am trying to reason the rational behind the mask, the only thing that come to mind is....maybe they are involved in lots of clandestine operations that might expose to them and their family to harm, if their identities are known? Abba Kyari and his team of crime busters seem more exposed, but they plaster their identities all over the place. |
