Necessity, they say; is the mother of invention. These tough economic winds is teaching us to look inward and go local. Afterall, our grandmothers didn't have access pads, but they looked inward and improvisedand you will agree that, even if a few percentage of them might have been unsanitary, the majority were clean and decent. For nursing mothers, if diapers become too expensive, try using one of your old wrapper, tear it into smaller reusable pieces, wash and dry after each use. There are some good textual materials in the market today, that can be turned into reusable pads as well, if we start looking inward, you will be surprised at the myriad of cheaper and clean alternatives. |
I doubt if this tradition is functional anywhere in this country. The tradition presupposes that, the first son must not live or settle down in any other city other than, where his parents have their house ie mostly where he grew up aka their village. In this 21st century, most people leave their village or where they grew up, once they starts their post-secondary education, after which they only pay occasion visit to the place. Rather find ways to cop, why not find ways to escaped the confinement. Can your husband or yourself find a job in another city? At least further enough to make daily commutes back to the house impractical? Look in to that, you guys can use that pretense to rent an apartment. |
Curioussme:I guess, you are dating him for the wrong reasons. |
hilaomo:Sorry to disappoint you, putting your money in a Ponzi scheme is not an investment risk, just like committing suicide is not a brave act. It is stupid, foolish, immoral, fraudulent, greed and myopic period! |
HungerBAD:Wrong premises, wrong analysis and wrong conclusion. For starters, that wasn't one of the reasons Trump won, if your conclusions were true, Obama would have also lost twice, because the majority of Hollywood star powers were backing him both times. Trump won, because the Democrats fielded a very weak candidate that failed to even enthuse her own base. About govanance, the last time I checked, the Aba riot in 1929 against our then colonial masters that eventually lead to curb on taxes were not carried out by seasoned technocrats with clearly articulated manifesto; but by ordinary market women, some with no education. |
Na wah! your long throat too much self, na only you waka come? A fool and his money will soon part ways...so said the Bible. |
fuckingAyaya:Look well, the bed don rough rough, I am calling this a post-sex photo. |
The cabal have finally put him to his place...this is to tell you that, all those #changebeginwithme or whatever is bullshit. Absence a revolution and willingness to die for causes one beliefs in, Nigerians will keep eating crows till thy kingdom come. Afterall, who wan die, therefore we shall keep enduring the suffering until thy kingdom come. |
AfonjasMustDie:Your diagnosis is wrong, you falsely assume that as a movie producer, the guy is rich. The reverse is the case, the guy is broke and he engaged in these activities to make ends meet. Forget the flamboyant display of 'wealth', all na packaging. |
The honorable Senator should have still hold on to his $100, by December this year; he will regret this stunt that he pulled, because at this rate, a dollar will be exchanging close to N800. Sound financial advise for Nigerians, instead of MMM, use that money to buy dollar and keep. Imagine if you would have bought dollars with your Naira from the mallam at the corner of the streets about two years, when it was still N200, the mallam would have gladly pay you N490 to collect those same dollars back. Also, savings account in the bank is useless waste of time and money, buy dollar instead. From the looks of things, this government doesn't have a clue what is going on with the Country's economy yet, talkless of preferring solutions. |
teehay45:Pour acid on each other body? Some maybe before then. |
Wonderment! Nothing wey person no go hear for this Buhari Economy... Out of the 36, wey possess am, three names are: snake, anaconda and serpent. Something tells me that, had she continue to enumerate the list; python, cobra and viper would have been among them. Why, is it that, when others were moving left and off camera after been touched by the God of Man, she moved right and into the view of the cameraman? Abi dem don do rehearsal for backstage, where dem for package the miracle for effective camera shots and eventually unhindered vintage scenery for those who will later view the digital version? Plus, in all these mass deliverance or anointing services, when a whole section of people fall at the presence of or the waving of the hand of the God of Man; the cameraman does not fall? I have watched thousands clips of deliverance/anointing services and never once seen the cameraman falling. On the day of Pentecost when the followers received the anointing, the Bible said, they were ALL under anointing and spoke in foreign languages. I am sure, if there was[were] cameraman[men], the biblical account would not have changed, they would have tow the same line. Please if you come across any deliverance/anointing service video where the cameraman[men] towed the line, post it here. Haters over to you, food is ready! |
Dude! Do both of you a BIG favor, don't marry her, be open and tell her the reason. Also, don't keep her waiting, you are tying her down, the early you release her, the better. Be a man, summon the courage and make that call and tell her that, you are sorry that it is not going to work. In life, you have to learn that, no matter what you do, it is impossible to please everyone. No matter where you face while standing, your back will still be turned against half of the planet and it's beauty and that is how it is in life. |
This look like staged...If he was away as claimed, how come the area boys got to know that his millions were stolen? Note that, he was not caught red handed by the area boys, otherwise it would have been pointless to make statements like, he will go and find the money. Finally, if you meant to recuse him, why allow tires to be put on him and a petrol brought there ready to go? Or were the tires put there in his absence, while the area boys wait patiently for him to arrive before proceeding to light the matches? |
The US congress cannot throw out a President's Executive Order, only the courts can. |
FTC! As a humble gentleman, I will not rob it in anyone face. www.yepvoice.com, a friend introduced me to their service. Excellent and cheap calling cards. They even have one of the best rates to African countries, especially Nigeria. Check them out at www.yepvoice.com |
10,000 per ejaculation! Thunder wey go fire MMM still dey do press up! OP, abey give me their, with the right stimulation l can give ten ejaculations in one day!, that is 100,000.00 kool cash in my account from just a days work. |
brandonobi:Some nice critical thinking there! Hope that is also applicable to chemical and biological abnormalities like people been born with a different gender than they feel internally and acts out. There are many physical, chemical and biological birth 'defects' in the world, but we many times only empathize with the ones we can see, feel and touched, which is very wrong. |
tejiritex:Security clearance for you or for your car? Please, expansiate. |
ReachRich:My guy, you have not even gotten your money back, and you are assuring someone that they will get theirs. The 31k you collected out of the 100k is a small amount, come back when you must have collected your promised 130%. |
ibibiofirstlady:You ma, reason am well well, if you were in their shoes and given the current circumstances, will you PH anyone? You are essentially telling them to "please get inside jail, so that you could be released. Who in their right minds would want to do that? |
Na wao! for all these internet remote relationship 'experts'. And you ma, go read am, come wan practice am for real life korokoro, without applying wisdom and understanding of you own particular circumstances, that only you know? Believe me....if you are good looking, most guys will shave you 'down there' on the very first date, does that mean, you just jump in and make that important decision to marry 'that guy'? Also, you might even be surprise that, the guy down the street or at the bus stop, will gladly oblige to shave you 'down there' without blinking an eye, just spread it and he will go to work immediately, I guess that means he is a keeper? |
Are mine the only that noticed something different on that video? I mean the ingenuity of Nigerians and how they can quickly and without prompting proffer various solutions and alternatives on how to solve the task at hand. This is a great nation and we are full of ideas and solutions, no matter what the circumstances. What we lack, are great leaders that will recognize this inert capabilities and hardness them to solve human problems all over the world. |
Try the empathy route. Do some internet research on the cause and solution, then internally, put yourself in her position i.e. there is something she does not like about you or something you do and each time you do it, it causes her some little discomfort, but she is not bringing herself to tell you, because she felt that, if she did, she will offend you. Coming from the above premises, approach her and tell her you are truly sorry, that you have betrayed her trust in you as a close friend and confident and that you have been selfish and too coward about approaching the subject, but lately; you felt that, if the shoes are turned and she failed to tell you something due to the same set of principles, you will be annoyed and would not be able to proffer solution. Then, go ahead and tell her that, it might be possible that, she has caught one of those toilet bugs, that you perceive something strange each time you guys are doing it and that you have do some research about it, then ask her what can we do together to solve this and that you don't want her to fall sick. |
JayJustus:This is bad, it's not done in the US. |
uvie66:I didn't read where it was indicated that they are thieves. They simply bypassed Nigeria border laws and policies to bring the goods in. On another level, the same people who are calling the woman 'criminal' would bet an eye to buy foreign rice because it taste good not minding the fact that it is a banned goods and most have been smuggled into Nigeria or when they have little money, will sneak into cotonou to buy cars illegally or when they get little foreign currency will chose to patronize the mallam on the road side to exchange it illegally at a higher rate than to go to a Bureau de change and get government official rate, I can go on and on how these same people circumvent Nigeria laws to have a more favorable outcome, yet you are calling someone who did the exact same thing 'criminal'...HYPOCRITES! |
Since water is more dense than oil and sinks to the bottom of any container with oil. How is your sister sure that, either the bottom half or 1/4th is not water? When she found out that two were water, She should have either emptied the other two containers completely into something else to make sure that all of it is oil or refuse the deal completely. |
sipsip:Base on your own assumptions, you know you were wrong. See how you carefully emphasized that, it is not the ministers' of firstimers' see. Paraphrasing your statements, it appears to mean that, you will not sit in the minister's or first timers seats, even if there empty. Why then do you think, you can sit on the protols' seat? |
I was about to ask, where did he died then, if not in Lindon? Until I saw the second line of your capture. Next time, start off with your main and strongest argument or statement. Studies have shown that, the further people reads on, the more they lose focus and assimilates less. |
Na Vaseline the hubby hold for hand so? Response only, if you have a reasonable inference, otherwise attack the person below me for typing nonesense. |
Gerrard59:Trying to clarify a point you mean... The US election of 1860 was contested by four good candidates and Abraham Lincoln even with 40% won the popular vote along with the electoral college vote. Bush & Trump losing the Popular vote but winning the Electoral college votes is a new pattern in the UD and might likely continue each time a democrats losses the White House as it is not feasible for Republicans to win the popular vote giving America current trend. The next question is, if the Democrats will continue to allow it to slide, the wisdom in the ID is, they will not; but will wait patiently until they know, they have the votes both at the National & State Legislature to move for a constitutional amendment. |
Timelezz:Not true. The Electoral College is not democratic and American is not a democracy. American is a constitutional Republic and that is how the founding fathers want it. |
