majekdom2:Not true, you don't have to tell someone not to do something before it can be called caution. The definition I have above is directly from the dictionary, do you care to cite an authoritative source as you to your rendering or usage of the word 'caution'? Caution is simply a warning, nothing more, not less. We see caution or warning signs on the road, each day we drive. Bible prophesies are full of cautions. Judas was cautioned, he knew what he was about to do is wrong and Jesus cautioned aka warned him as you can see in the above verses, stop adding person nonuniversal meanings to the word 'caution' just to justify your other views. |
zionmade:Caution To say something as a warning. John 13:21-26"...Verily verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me...He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it, and when he dipped the sip, he gave it to Judas." Mark 14:21 "...The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him...but woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man. It would be better for him if he had not been born" Luk 22:48 "...Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayed thou, the Son of Man with a kiss?" There are many scriptures, I can put up to show, Judas was cautioned, warned before, during and after his betrayer of Jesus. ...and BTW Many prophesies have cautions in them, it is false and you know it to state that, because something is a prophesy, therefore it is not a cautions. Prophesies is one of the major ways God caution his people. |
majekdom2:You must have missed, the last supper, when Jesus cautioned Judas...try read Matt 26, John 13, Mark 14, etc. As for Elisha, he was leaving under the Old covenant. An eye for an eye is the rule in the old covenant. If the old covenant was perfect, Jesus would not have come, He would not have died for our sins and Gentiles like myself and you would have still be aliens to God and His plans. Jesus is the fulfillment of the old covenant, he said he brought a new and a better covenant, a better way of life. Heb 8:13 said, he made the old covenant obsolete, aging and about to disappear. How many New Testament prophets did you read calling bears, fire and thunders or venegence against their enemies? |
zionmade:You are the one reading the Bible upside-down. You are confusing the salvation of the sinner, with what God commanded Christians to do, without prompting. Kemi's confession is tied to Kemi's salvation; just like the thief you referenced...he was not forgiven by God, because he did not repent, same will be applicable to Kemi by God and you are a baby Christian to link this Kemi's salvation with what God commanded Christians to do. Did you noticed another thing on that cross? Jesus, our example forgave everyone offended him before he took his last breath. Even Stephen while actively been stoned to death and before he took his last breath and without his killers confessing or apologizing said..."Lord, do not hold this sin against" The Pastor insisting on confession of an unbeliever before forgiveness is putting himself in the place of God. He has forgotten that, he is also a sinner, who equally needs forgiveness from God and is now usurping the position of God, who needs no forgiveness. Let me ask you a question..., do you understand or even believe Matt 6:14 "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you"... Mark 11:26 put it more bluntly "But if he do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses" There is no pre-condition of the offended repenting, apologizing, confessing...but to make it worse....Our own salvation and forgiveness by God is tied to us forgiving others period! As I have said, one will understand the initial actions of the Pastor as forgiveness is tough, but to hold out as if, his continual actions are somehow justifiable by any Christian precepts is far from the truth, by his continual actions, when reflected against the Bible, he is not a Christian (Christ-Like). |
majekdom2:Dude, I don't care if the Pastor locked up Kemi till thy Kingdom come, or if she confessed or apologized or if she have proof or not against the Pastor. I don't know Kemi and am not advocating for her, my analysis is purely from the biblical aspect and the way the Bible expects us to comport ourselves when faced with adversity. Jesus said, if they persecute me, they will also persecute you, but he still command them to handle those persecutions as he handled his. Yes, Christians sometimes out of justified anger slip and resort to vegence at the spur of the moment just like Peter at the Garden by chopping off the ears of one of the arresting office, but Jesus, through to his teachings and what he wants us to do, admonished Peter and healed the man. |
tejpot:Nothing in what I said, suggested that Christians cannot defend themselves when hauled before a Judge or that it is unchrist like to do so. Jesus went before Pilate, he defended himself and as Christians, we must defend ourselves. My point is, Jesus, Paul, Peter, Silas, etc never hauled their accusers before a Judge, if you find a scripture reference that contridicts that, please let me know. |
zionmade:Agreed, forgiveness is tough. No one said, it is easy, that is why the Bible did not command unbelievers to forgive. You need God's grace to turn the other cheek or to pray...'Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing' when you have just be hung on the cross and a spear driven through your ribs. You asked, some personal questions and how I will react, yes at the spur of the moment, I will react to protect myself....but, I will not never proclaim it as a Christian thing to do. I will be mad at myself, I will go to God and ask for his forgiveness, I will know that, I have sinned against God and redeem his face and will try to make amends. Don't get me wrong, the Pastor have every right to be angry, he have every right to lock her up and throw the keys away, he has every right to be judgmental...but, the question is for a true believer, after those initial burst of angers, you must start looking at things through the lens of Christ, you must start questioning the actions you have taken at the spur of the moment and reverse them, if they do not pass through the lens of "Will Jesus Do this?". The Bible allow Christians to be angry, but it said, we should not allow the Sub to come down before we let go. |
majekdom2:The Pastor is the one bearing witness against her, the way the law works, without the testimony of the Pastor, she cannot be prosecuted. There is no scriptural bases for the repentance or confession of sinners, before we can forgive them...in fact, the Bible says that, our own forgiveness by God is tied us forgiving others. Only God can chastise everyone, Pastors can discipline those who have submitted themselves to his leadership e.g. his church members, but he can do same to those outside the fold, that he must leave to God. |
cytell56:Another scripture deprived wanna-be Christian... The Bible said, we should judge one another. it said, there will be many Anti-Christs in the last days and that, by we judging their works we will know. Many shall come preaching my name, but they do not know me, test every spirit to see if they are of God....and by their works we shall know them...are you familar with any of the above scriptures? |
zionmade:Men, you spoke like someone who is alien to the Christian faith and not grounded in the Bible. Do you know how many unbelievers blasphemed against Christ? How many did he take to court? The Bible commands us to be Christ-like, Pastors have to be christians first, forgive others their sins, so the Heavenly Father will forgive you your sins, so said the Bible. Secondly, you are totally wrong that Pastors or Preachers convert souls, we are only admonished to preach the gospel, it is the Holly Spirit that convert souls. Saul Persecuted Peter and the early Apostles even unto death, non took him to court, none even prayed curse on him, they blessed him and shown him love until God touched Saul. These Pastors are doing more damages to the Christian faith by these actions. Vegence is mine said God. Jesus said, he that is without sin, should cast the first stone. We are all sinners, including these Pastors and cannot cast any stone at someone for what they have done. What happened to turning the other cheek, when you are slapped or forgiving 7x77 times a day, when you are offended. There is no yardstick in the Bible by which you can measure these and concluded that these Pastos are Christians i.e. Christ-Like period! |
ceecee0703:Of all the people who blasphemed against Jesus, can you tell us how many he reported to Caesar, so that the rule of law can take it's course? Pastors are meant to first be Christians i.e. Christ-Like. |
dangotesmummy:That should not stop anyone from giving, my principles is, I only give what I am comfortable and willing to give...sometimes, am not naturally moved to give (not because of any past experience) and I don't give. And that how giving should operate, I do employ the same principle in church. I don't response to those 'surprise God with abundant sacrifice' preaching, if anything it turns me completely off. |
You went wrong on many fronts... 1. Your using NIPOST. 2. Using first class. 3. Posting something of value without insurance. First class mails are not guaranteed, also once they leave the shores of Nigeria, there is nothing NIPOST can do. You would have used DHL, FedEx or UPS or us EMS with insurance. As it is now, you are at the mercies of luck, that somehow the package gets to its destination. Even at that, you are not yet out of the woods, the buyers have to be honest about receiving it. Once a Paypal case is closed is near impossible to reopen it, even if the item was eventually delivered. Learn from this and be guided next time, ask buyers to pay for premium shipping cost and also insurance. |
I can categorically tell you that, the Doctor Boss of yours don't have anyone bleeping her at home, so she is taking the frustration to work. Some tell you to write the State Coordinator or the this or that, before the reply comes back you would have passed out. Simple solution, on Monday don't go to work, take your baby to NYSC secretariat, file a written complaint against her and ask for a seek leave. You ultimately report to NYSC and as such they have the final say... Writing a complaint now with serve as mitigating circumstances, becos something tells me that lady is going to send a bad review on you to NYSC. While you are at it, take a picture of the boils on your daughter and document everything. |
davtosh:I guess you don't understand how the police, court, prison or law works. The Pastor complained, hence he was arrested, charged and in jail at the moment awaiting trials. When the trial commences, the Pastor will be called to testify in other to enter into evidence, the exhibits against her. Without the Pastor's testimony at the trial phase, all those blog posts cannot be entered into evidence. It means, if the Pastor failed to testify, she will go free at trial as she will not be found guilty. Even now, if the Pastor withdraw his complains, she will be set free. So, let's not minimize the continual role of the Pastor in this case, they are front and center on this case and without their continual support and interest, the case will fall apart. |
davtosh:If you care to read the complaint against her, you will see where the Pastor's name and his ministry was mentioned. I would have typed the name and ministry of the Pastor here, but that will be rewarding your lazy ass, try do some research before blaming her travails on some imaginary innocuous beings. |
robosky02:And how many blasphemy against Jesus did he prosecute? And why don't these so called men of God emulate the Jesus they preach to us on a daily basis? While dying on the cross Jesus said..."father forgive them, for they know not what they do.". And don't hide under the pretense of, "it is the federal government that is prosecuting them and not the pastors". If these Pastors did not go to the Police station to complaint, mind you something Jesus will never do, there will be no charge and if these Pastors do not testify in this case, there will be no prosecution. This makes one to believe that, the pastors are just protecting their financial brand on earth just like any business man/woman would do and careless about doctrine they preach and the Person of Jesus, they pretend to follow. |
Court that day must be very boring. |
Kayceenaz:Proof by contrapositive: Note that: In all solutions, today must be Sunday as stipulated in the problem statement. If the statement was made on Saturday. 1. Then yesterday will be Friday. 2. Then tomorrow will be Sunday. 3. If Yesterday was tomorrow, then Yesterday is no longer Friday but a Sunday. 4. If Yesterday is a Sunday, then today is a Monday. Since today = Monday (our Answer), is not the same as our starting assumption that today = Sunday, it then means our starting assumption is incorrect. |
Sweetestrose:Nice try, but wrong sha. The question said, today is Sunday, but you have today as Tuesday. |
shumuel:Your answer is wrong, today must be Sunday, you have tomorrow as Sunday. |
Marvel1206:Not correct....Remember today must be: Sunday..if Tuesday were correct, then today will be Thursday. I think, the statement was made on Friday...proof: Let assume the statement was made on a Friday. 1. If Yesterday (Thursday) was tomorrow(Saturday). 2. Meaning Yesterday is now Saturday. 3. If Yesterday was Saturday, meaning today is Sunday. Since today is Sunday, it means our initial assumption is correct and the statement was made on Friday. |
abescom:At $45/barrel and given Nigerian government's attitude for waste, I doubt if things will be as rosy as you are painting them. The 2017 budget was predicted on $42.5/per barrel at 2.2 mill/per day/barrel production. The current realistic production numbers is 1.8mi/day, am discounting recent NNPC announcements that we have added additional 200,000 barrels/day to our production output. Also Remember that any violence or pipeline vandalism in the Niger Delta cuts that number down drastically....So it is save to use 1,800,000 barrels/day as longtime production output. Which means 2017 budget expects: 2.2mil * 42.5 /daily from oil....if oil go to $45 as you have stipulated, then the actual numbers will be: 1.8mil * 45/daily...which is about $4.5b shortfall on the 2017 budget. Remember that, we have not factored in Nigeria mismanagement factor into any of these. Compound this with the yet to be booked short falls from the 2016 budget, which was predicted on the same parameters as above, but also on N197/$1 exchange rate, since that exchange rate did not pan out throughout 2016, it means that, there are myriad of projects and promises of 2016 budget that only existed in the pages of newspapers and the budget documents because of lack of funds. 2017 budget, though not yet approved will suffer the same fate, so I will not have my hopes up, but will continue to pray that oil remain at least at the $50 levels. |
danielicon:In essence you are saying these so called 'Pastors' are not preaching the gospel of Christ and neither are they Christians aka Christ-like. Is the persecution they faced greater than the one Jesus faced? Or the attempted or damage to their names and ministries greater than one Jesus suffered? Hanging on the cross and about to died, I did not recall any of his persecutors coming and asking for forgiveness, but he still said 'Father forgive them, for they know not what they are doing'. If these are truly men of God, they will leave Judgement unto God and forgive within prompting from the offender just like Jesus did. |
KAYD007:I noticed you stated 'common sense dictates...' and not that you have accessed his specific situation and conclude that, he is legally obligated to do so. Even if he is obligated contractually to do so, which I doubt is the case here, the employer breached that contract, once they started giving him tasks (washing clothes, cleaning toilets, etc) that are not within his contracted obligations as spelt out by his employment letter and as such, any claim the employer is making to that contract is null and void. This guy does not have any legal obligation to give termination notice, given the specifics of this case. The only reason he might want to settle this case amicably is for the future e.g. He might need this company as a reference in the future, if I were in his shoes, I will not include them in my resume at all, more so because no matter the settlement reached, I doubt if his boss is going to forget it in a giffy. As for him going to your house, get a pro bono legal counsel as some have advised. A cease and desist letter from even a law school student will put him in his place and let him know that, he has crossed the line. |
None sense... This is just some acting scripts to generate traffic...where did the girl get the guy's bank account from? Also how did the guy get the girl's bank account to refund the money? |
Where is the girl? |
VirginFinder:Why is it that, when topics like these come up; you guys run to pull one selective law from the Old testament. That convenant and laws were made with Abraham and his defendants. Even the Hebrew Israelis who are direct descendants of Abraham and beneficiaries of that convenant marry their cousins up till day. If you check very well, that is not the only law you are disobeying clearly written in Deuteronomy. Jesus abolished the old convenant and their laws, my guy, embrace the new convenant. |
HungerBAD:Am afraid for you, you are not objective and very close minded, it is your type that can easily be duped, because of your lack of objectivity on all occasion. At least, be open to the idea that, one of your pastors is a fraud, it does not in away tarnish the image of the ministry or church. Jesus had only 12 disciples and there was one Judas in their mix, who love money to a great length, but that did not tarnish the image of Jesus' ministry and he never hid the fact that, there is a Judas among his disciples. |
RaeMystix:Not that long. He gets work permit immediately. He gets Green card within 6 months. He gets citizenship in three years, if they are still together that long or five years if otherwise. |
Senipapa:In most cases, inferiority complex on the part of the guy is a contributing factor. |
