GreyLaw:His age is immaterial to the case. Go back and read the verdict, nothing the boy said was factored into the verdict. It was not the boy that misrepresented himself as a cousin to the embassy for visa procurement and to the hospital. Let’s also remember that, the IKE also lied, and their lies is more material to the case, because they did it to Government Authorities and did knowingly so as to make the guy eligible as a donor under UK donor laws under the criteria of their application. Donors who are family members are less scrutinized and encouraged, hence he was passed on as a Cousine…..had they told the Authorities that he is a ‘street hustler’ as he is been painted now and have no blood relationship to the family, his visa would have been denied and the hospital would not even waste their time interviewing him. |

IgOga:When you guys see a fail course, you commit hard and dig deeper. Again, FCT was not a contentious in that Election, I read through the Supreme Court opinion you posted, it was only alleged OBJ did not win the Election and they use the constitution word of “25% and FCT”, it would be foolish to allege that OBJ won, otherwise why go to the court? In 2003, OBJ got 25% and above from 33 States and he also got 49.9% from FCT, making it 34. So he got 25% from 2/3 of states and FCT as required by the constitution. That said, I am not in anyway stating that FCT is not regarded as a state when it come of the rendering of the constitution as it pertain to Presidential Election, my position is that the Supreme Court has not answered or render their interpretation on this particular section of the constitution when it comes to Presidential and they will have the opportunity to do so now and it could end up either, though I believe they will side with the defendants and call FCT a state. 2003 Nigeria Presidential Election Results by States: https://www.pulse.ng/news/politics/2003-presidential-election-how-nigerians-voted/m7fn68j.amp |
IgOga:OBJ won FCT with 49.9% and PMB was a distant second with 38% and OBJ won the Presidential, how did FCT become a conflict requiring litigation? |
mankan2k7:It will just be a few repainted Ethiopian Airline plans nothing much…. I truly wonder why it is taking this long, unless the painter is as clueless as the government….I know a few agbero boys in Oshodi under bridge who will do a good job and faster too. |
highchief1:Na the boy make dem commit the crime? He is a victim, even if he knowingly participated and was to profit. His situation is exactly the same as paying an underage girl for sex, the law protects them despite them knowingly going into it and getting a reward. |
ShaqFu:You stated you do not known more than the NYPD or any security agency in the US, but still went ahead and spread your ignorance online. Who told you that, it is the NYPD or security agency that is investigating Trump? Trump is facing nothing less than three separate investigations in the US across many states and some of these states are Republican controlled states and none of these investigations are been carried out by the Police or security agency in these states. In the case of Stormy Daniels, the investigation is been carried out by the Manhattan DA office, and and the indictment will be from a Grand Jury….Grand Jury are made of ordinary men and women like me and you to whom the evidence are presented and they weigh them and return a verdict. Stormy Daniels was interviewed, Cohen Trump’s Lawyer who arranged the payments and the deal has testify even Cohen his lawyer have served one year prison terms on this matter and he is now cooperating with the Prosecution. Trump himself did not deny the facts in the case, if not that he is an ex President, he would have been thrown into prison long time ago and might have even finished serving his prison time just like his lawyer. No DA or Prosecutor in the US will ever move against a former President if they don’t have the goods and don’t have more than solid evidence, it is a carrier ending move plus the security risk to their person and families. |
elipheleh:The word ‘unknown’ is relative and subjective. The fact that you don’t know it, your circle of friends, family, etc don’t know it does not make it ‘unknown’, you are bearing false witness according to the Bible you quoted, when the truth is…You don’t know it. Allow the OP to write what he is writing, I am here with an open mind. I was born in to a Christian family, grew up as one and was told my way is the only way, and I got born again. Having grown up and studied a lot, I was surprised to realize that, there are more than a thousand religions out there, with each claiming with rigor that theirs is the only way and just like me, a child born into those religions would naturally by birth and geography pick their parent religion as theirs. Yes, we have trans-conversion one religion to another, but statistically it is a wash and we have a thousand and one kids who through no fault of their are holding steadfastly to what they have been told is the ‘truth’. The root of all these religions is the BELIEVE and it is a dangerous word. You only believe what you don’t know and can’t proof. We believe in God, in the Bible because we can’t proof it and we don’t know it….once you know something you stop believing and we can only know anything through one or more of our sense organs, e.g. I know 1+1 equals 2, because I can proof it, so I don’t believe it. It was during COVID I realized that religion is a scam or maybe something else is happening that we don’t know. I saw ‘miracle workers and healers’ locked up their church waiting for the scientists to find the cure, so they can open up their church to continue healing people. I justify my Christian beliefs today only on the premise that, the rapture took place many years ago even before we were born and we have been left on our own to figure things out ourselves and find our way back to God. Otherwise, I don’t see the Elijahs, the Elishas, etc ‘Greater things than me ya shall do because I go to my father’ yet these guys ran and took cover when COVID came to town. So allow the OP share his knowledge, if you think you have a superior knowledge share it. Paul did the same thing, he debated the philosophers in his days not by condemning them using scriptures, he came down from his high horses and use logic and philosophy to engage them. |
NewestNigerian:You are right that you did not lost and that, she is the one that lost. In life economy there are two kind of individuals, producers and consumers. You are a producer, the spirit, mindset, hussle, etc that enabled you to safe that initial money is still there, you did not get that money by luck or chance, you went out there, applied yourself and produced it. So everything needed to reproduce that fit and more is still within you plus you have learnt a vital life lesson not to lose focus or divest your savings into unplanned venture, this lesson will earn its dividends in your life in the near future, don’t be complacent and forget it. She is a consumer, whatever she taught she has gained, with time she will consume everything and return to zero. My only issue is, if you have truly learnt your lesson. Remember that, you still have family pressure on you to get married and this lady is not going to easily let you go, no consumer caught their producer free without a fight….plus the pressure from home may make you succumb to her now or in the near future because you can’t end this relationship today and get a wife material girl tomorrow. My advise, please blunt the pressure from home, if you have to block all their phone numbers, please do. You need to settle yourself, you are not yet ripe for marriage, that is one big lesson you should learn from from this breakup. Just imagine had it been you impregnated this girl, she will never agreed to abortion and once you have a kid, those dreams and plans of yours given your kind of good heart will be gone because you seem not to have the kind of heart that will abandon the mother and kids and go pursue your plans and dreams, so count your blessings. Keep that girl to the curb and don’t look back…I will even say, don’t take the phone from her unless you absolutely need it. My point is, don’t take it from her out of anger, you truly should be grateful to her, you taught valuable life lessons that would have ruin you in the future had you not learnt them now, so be grateful to her and thank her but kick her ass to the curb and move on! |
kiddkash:You are right, my point is no body enforces that so the norm among the people becomes the law. Even imo state that first adopted the Child Right Act do not enforce the 18 years in the Act as there are many minors who get pregnant and are given away in marriage to cover the ‘shame’ of the family. We only see enforcement when one of sides in these marriages vehemently disagrees and even in those cases, the courts tell them to go home and settle the issue that, it is a family issue. |
MMWandali:The North are under Nigeria Penal code and not the criminal code. I think 11 is legal marital age under the Penal code of Nigeria. Plus, majority of the Northern states, I think about 11 have not adopted the Child Right Act. |
The report clearly stated that, it was a collision, no one shoot at the other! https://abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics/russian-fighter-forces-us-drone-close-ukraine/story?id=97855821 |
Ilamina:From your comments, it is safe to conclude you believe in the Bible? The Bible said….’Thou shall not kill’. Yes, that includes your own life. |
Ilamina:No matter how you lived your life, if you commit suicide you will never make heaven! Because you played God and cut short the plan He had prepared for that life! Don’t take what you can’t give, don’t play God even in your life, as long as you woke up in the morning and are still breathing, He has not finished with you! It is only a myopic individual that judges a movie after just viewing a portion of it, allow your life to play out to the end and you will look back and conclude that your thoughts now are myopic. |
Okonandmary:Very correct, these transactions are seem less and the same transaction delays and declines will also happen under experienced IT staff. The bottleneck is resource utilization exhaustion on the software, here Bank managers bought limited few licenses and pocket the rest of the budget money. If you only paid for 1000 concurrent user access to your banking software expect the system to crash if overnight it start getting 100,000 transaction calls, no IT guru on staff will help you solve this, simply pay additional millions to the software vendor so they can increase your license. Secondly, low grade servers and limited sized VMs on the cloud hosting these softwares. If the your server CPU, memory, IOPS, is very low, no IT guru will help you, though retweaking codes to reduce calls will help a lot, but ultimately you need to upgrade to faster servers. Thirdly, your broadband access to the internet or cloud servers gateway access matters a lot. If you only subscribe to 100meg access expect shock points when all comers start sending traffic. Lastly, Network devices and especially firewalls and security measures. How fast is your network devices, firewalls who examine each TCP/IP and then inspect them to eliminate and truncate attacks, how fast your firewall is doing this matters. Clogging your Network cabinet with old switches, routers and firewalls will severely slow down transaction….throw away those old boxes in the server room and upgrade, an IT guru on staff will not help with this. The writer know all these, but they are just auditioning for a consulting contract from the Banks, at the end of the day, these are the recommendations they will give them. |
Iamicekid:These are okay on a normal day, but lot of people get denied before they have a chance of presenting any of the above. From stories I have heard, some people see the denials as premeditated, that is before you show up to that interviewing window, your case and outcome has been sealed, Otis just awaiting your arrival at the interview window for delivery. You don’t get the chance to present your case talkless of evidence. |
IyaebeTheGreat:Thanks for clarifying this. Your opinions are very well respected on the subject. But, it is a leap for you to conclude that your opinions are the moral compass. Maiden, House Helps, House Girls, etc are also humans and have the same dignity as current wives, there is nothing wrong for them to get married to their former bosses, if the former boss is legally free to remarry. The above scenario happens throughout the Bible and in modern history. It is easy to conclude why current House wives would disdain seeing their House maid getting married to their former husband because they hold their maids lowly and as second class and can fathom how their previous husband would see them worthy. In my book, once you divorce a man or woman, free them in your mind and let them go, they are free to marry whoever they pleases lawfully, it is a sign of undealt-with baggages to be still be judging them on account of who they decide to have a legal relationship with afterwards, |
IyaebeTheGreat:I think you are projecting what @olawalebammie, he said the Housegirl can be upgraded to replace the wife. My first interpretation of what he was saying is that, the wife would be divorced and replaced by the Housegirl….or are you of the opinion that, once a Housegirl, they can’t be wives? I am not advocating divorce either nor infidelity but these things happen as a function of our society and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Even when Satan rebelled against God, He did not eliminate Satan, He even permitted Satan to be ruler of our current world today…Jesus said, allow the seeds and weeds to grow together when his disciples asked to allow them to eliminate the weeds. |
It is truly unfortunate the harm that religion has caused in Africa. And in the same breath, the Whiteman that brought this religion to us does not accuse their neighbors and children of witchcraft and take them for religious deliverance sessions. The Whiteman ancestors came into our land, raped, killed, imprisoned, tortured and carry many of our ancestors into slavery, etc….despite all these ungodly crimes and sins against God and man, the whiteman today still adore their ancestors, they see them as great men and nobles to be emulated…go into their house of worship, offices, etc today and see how they adore the walls with pictures of these ‘great men’. But, come to Africa and see how we bind, curse and abuse our ancestors, the same very people who were oppressed, we are oppressing them the second time. We bind them, bind their spirit, attribute all our failures to them. Something tells me that, had it been there is no religion, Africa would have progressed and become the giant of the world today….for God’s sake civilization started in Africa, we were the first people to invent writing, maths, language and science. Come to think of it, it is only in religion that you are taught to “believe”, you are asked to take it at face value no question asked…..but, in all other aspect of our lives that we depend on for survival, we must ask questions, ensure things are okay, when we take money from the ATM, we don’t believe the money is complete, we count it to make sure! Who had bewitched YOU oh Africa! Wake up from your slumber Ye GIANTS of all Nations! This poor innocent girl because she was born partially blind had been programmed and taught by her ignorant surviving parent and relatives that she killed her mother and is the cause of her father’s “bad lucks”, no wonder she is depressed and ‘need deliverance’ and leading her now to actual trauma caused by rape….You see how our ignorant baseless beliefs leads to real life negative consequences….this is the real DEVIL! We create this devil in Africa ourselves and this created DEVIL is very real in Africa and wrecking havocs! |
musicwriter:Well put, also the US borrows from itself e.g. from Social Security and Federal Reserve. Like you said, those IOU sold to China & Japan are scam and paper money, if China makes mouth tomorrow that they want their money back, they can sell the note in the market or the US can go to Federal Reserve and ask them to mint one coin and put a face value of $300 billion on it and send it China and ask them to return change, it is all a very big scam. But in Africa it is not a scam, we borrow money using foreign currencies and exchange real values, since these loans are in foreign currencies we can’t tell CBN to mint a 1 trillion Naira coin and use it to settle China just like US. |
jumper524:That is why western countries debts are scam….read my detail post about this a few comments above. US is the biggest shareholders of World Bank & IMF and gain huge money from Africa countries loan repayments with interest. |
FreeStuffsNG:Read my other comment on details about this, I tagged you. These debts in the US only exist on account sheets of paper, they carry zero weight. |
sunnywinner2015:This is the most intelligent question here…Who you borrow from matters a lot and the volume of the debt and that is what is happening with Westerner countries unlike in Africa countries. E.g bulk of US debts is owe to Social Security and the Federal Reserve and both entities are part and parcel of the US it’s, it is like the debt a husband owes his wife. The other part of US debt are just IOU notes aka bonds they sell to China. China can sell those bonds back in the stock market and people will buy them, or the US can go back to the Federal Reserve borrow money and buy the notes back from China. However in countries like Nigeria and others in Africa, we mortgage our future to borrow from external countries and squander the money. Come read FreeStuffsNG and jumper524. |
FreeStuffsNG:You clearly don’t know how debts work abroad, it is a scam and paperweight. |

irumole1975:So, you know that Nigeria and US does not have the same economy, but you were quick to give a higher economic value to two cows bought in Nigeria compare to one goat bought in the US simply because, both of them may cost the same amount of money? Since we are now on the same page that, the income, economy, cost and standard of living in the US is higher than Nigeria, next time you contrast the cost of commodities and services between both countries, try adjusting that cost with the variance in income, economy & standard of living between both countries as well, that is the only you will know the true equivalency in cost. |
irumole1975:The better question is, how long will it take you to earn on average $300 doing similar kind of job/profession in the US vs it’s Naira equivalent in Nigeria? To help you out, let’s take an example of someone working in Dominos Pizza in the US vs another working in Dominos Pizza in Lagos. I will do a rough Justice of the US case, which is about $10/hr, which means they will earn $300 in less than a week. $300 is almost like N220k in 9ja depending on the exchange rate that you use….so, you go….how long will it take a Dominos Puzza Employee in Lagos to earn N220k? |
This does not sound true, you are hiding some details. This look like a side order from a Chinese restaurant and by itself it is not up to $25. |
My joy and happiness is that, all of us na him go stay for dis 9ja to enjoy the next administration together in suffering or in happiness. The pickin wey say him mama no go sleep, that pickin no go sleep too. I just pray that, Tinubu will outperform Buhari and surprise his critics…..but, I sincerely doubt he would, and truly pray that I am wrong about it. |
ChildOfDoom:You deserve to lose that job, you are not worthy of it. Someone more trustworthy who is jobless and had been praying for such an opportunity would replace you. |
