Toluwanise247:Worst than Bello? |
YungMillionaire:The genius about it all, is that he did not use his money. He used the bank’s money, and it is not real money, it is all loan money aka promise to pay money. Money itself is a scam, if you count your money in cash at hand and cash in the bank, then you are still very very poor. You are rich when the bank trust you enough to loan some of their digital money aka promise to pay worthless money. |
Suspect33:And yet with the religious saturation in African, evil and evildoers still rule over Africa. My brother, practice the Bible you pretend to follow by first removing the plank in thy own eyes, this way you can see clearer to remove the speck in thy brother eyes. In other words look inward to the ill that people are suffering in Africa first before pointing fingers. |
Whobedatte:Their membership was rejected. |
Dchair2:They are very cautious, Putin was put on noticed and as such, he will not do anything. Ukraine is a war zone with many uncontrolled separatists fighting and shooting missiles, it will be unwise for the American President to fly a plane into a war zone. Even Putin himself have reduced his use of his own Presidential Plane in Russia, he now uses armored Trains even within his own territory, google it and learn. During the Iraq war, America Presidents who flew in to visit the troops don’t fly Air Force One into Baghdad and most times they show up in the middle of night in clandestine mode. The fact that one is powerful does not mean they should expose themselves to unnecessary risk. Even as the war goes on between Russia & Ukraine, there is a hotline between Russia & the USA and despite what you read on the faces of paper, they both still have strong behind the scenes diplomatic & ties channels through which they communicate and cooperate with each other. Around the same time Biden was visiting Ukraine, Russia tested a failed intercontinental missile call SARMAT missile aka SATAN II, and they |
MyVILLAGEpeople:Where did it say, Putin was begged? They were notified, Putin should have ignored the notice and shot his plane down. Plus, it was against Russia and Putin self interest for Biden to enter Ukraine as it showcase US stands with Ukraine and the President. |
Jones4190:If they want to, they would have done so long time again. It is also counterproductive to take it to then bank, remember that before the Naira redesign, CBN passed a policy limiting the amount of money one can withdraw. So, if they had taken the money to the bank; they would have exposed themselves and linked such huge cash to their persons, thereby opening themselves up to be invited by EFCC; secondly they need the cash to prosecute the Election, of what use will it be to a Politician who have stockpiled e.g. N200m old currency for the election to take same to the bank only to be given N50k in new currency, which wouldn’t be enough for feeding self. These not withstanding, I know lot of Politicians have gotten hold of the new currencies through corruption bank officials and are on standby to put it to use during the elections. |
civboy:It didn’t take God donkey years to answer Elisha’s prayers to eliminate the Prophets of Baal. Nigerian Politicians are worse than Prophets of Baal and I am 100% confident that, there is at least one Nigerian living today who is very a devoted Christian or Muslim and lives a Holy and righteous live, why are their prayers not been answered? From the Bible, most times it only take a single Moses or Elijah or Elisha or Joshua to answer His people’s cry? Why is it not so today? In those days, when Jesus or His disciples perform miracles, signs and wonders, it is alway clear cut with absolutely no doubt that, it was God that did it, but during COVID, many Christians and Pastors even some fervent were killed, Churches and Houses of worship shutdown across the globe until the Scientists brought the cure. My theory truly is, God have left man to his own devices and our prayers are of no effect or that the dispensation of Grace is over…Jesus has come and have taken His chosen ones away, maybe some couple of hundred years ago and we here to work our salvation through pains and suffering, yes we are the tribulation Christians with no Grace and no answer to prayers from God. |
Zonefree:Adults his age in various homes in Nigeria urinates on their body. That is sign of old age and evidence of the weakness of the muscles around his bladder, such that they are no longer able to hold the urine. It can and do happen to the best among us and within the realm of possibility given his age. |
PeterObi4LP:Are you saying the poor people, opposed people and even innocent and good Christians don’t fall sick or experience misfortunes? |
rottennaija:The above bold portion of your comment is incorrect. The United States has been in open conflicts around the world from time immemorial. These wars and conflicts justify the huge US defense budget year in and year out. In fact, there is a sizeable portion of Americans who believe that, an open conflict in America favors the sitting President during re-election especially when American soldiers are not directly involved which is the case of Russia vs. Ukraine. There is solidarity around Country and their President during external conflicts like these. There is inflation in America at the moment, though not comparable to that in Nigeria, during economic downturns like these, politician are very clear to project something else in the National 'talking points' during Election so that citizens would not focus more on the biting economy, war and conflict out is one of those usual scapegoats they employed. I am not in any way suggesting what Biden intentions are or are not........both of us have zero clue. But, we all know that Putin miscalculated and he is trying to re-calibrate, he has lost a lot of time, and only time will tell if his re-calibration efforts will yield his desired objectives. Common sense will tell us that, when a fight is becoming too long, longer than expected or anticipated, it is a sign on weakness on the part of the perceived Strongman and sign of strength on the on part of the perceived weaker man. |
Nawa oh! I saw something like machete cut on the upper arm of the one in the middle, making me to wonder if Nigeria Police dey use machete. Abi na wen dey corner dem, dem come use cutlass finish the deed. |
Zonefree:You people just talk dumb shit sometimes! I guess, the mom is not a Nigerian? Just like the mom married his father, the guy have the right to marry whoever he pleases. No Marriage is perfect out there and there are zero statistics to prove that marriages supported by mothers lasts longer or are better. Yes, it is very important to flow with your family and seek their consent, but the ultimate decision is yours. I have seen many married endorsed by mother crumbling. If mother love is supreme, very soon the wife will give birth to their own children and to them also, their mother will be supreme or will their grandmother love the kids and continue to treat the kid’s mother like trash? OP, you are doing the right thing, continue the course, continue the upkeep of your mom, time heals everything. Your mom might be genuinely concerned for you, the issue is, with Inlaws sometimes these concerns become obsessive to the point they want to control your life. |
ValCon888:In most cases, the fault is not the bank’s. Most Nigerian subscribers connections back to the inter-bank gateway are congested 2G or 3G and sometimes no connection at all. In scenario like that, the traffic is going to be delayed. 5G & 6G are the answer. |
FreeStuffsNG:The law does not mandate ‘hard copy’ either. He should currently available means to execute him campaign. Let him pay his campaign vendors with available channels of payment, which is electronic at the moment. |
REALretep:I can see what you are seeing, and you are not off the mark. However, you should understand that, since we are using Nigeria as a special case here, the Presidency aka Executive Branch is not the only at fault here. All three Branches of Government are corrupt, the Courts are no longer the ‘last hope’ of the common man. It appear ‘justice’ goes to the highest bidder today and this have led to the general distrust of the System of Justice in Nigeria. If there is distrust for the Judiciary, such distrusts are extended to their rulings and orders as well. What gives weight, deference and reference to a Court Order is not merely because the Order came from the Court, it is because the citizens agreed to give force to that Order, the citizens gives power to Court Order, they enforce it and ensure it is carried out. But, if those same citizens distrust the Courts as Court of Justice, their Orders are worthless and meaningless. I have never seen a Judge walking on the streets to enforce their Orders, they rely on the same society and citizens who now distrust them to do that. It is possible that, the Executive Branch is having the same distrust towards these Court Orders just like the society and citizens, hence the lack of zeal to abide by them. Yes, this is absolutely wrong and should not be the case, but in a lawless society anything goes. Same goes to the Legislative Branch & Politicians in Nigeria, they are all self centered thieves seeking the next novel way to siphon the Government and steal from the people. |
AfricanColumbus:I guess you are joking? Presidential Executive Orders (EO) are usually Administrative policy blueprints about how the Executive Branch intend to run a particular parastatal or ministry. They do not create new laws, they don’t contradict existing laws and they don’t contradict the Supreme Court. E.g. The Presidency can issue an EO that states CBN will not collect old Naira notes again. That EO is only valid as long as there is no Supreme Court or law saying otherwise. On the Surface, Supreme Court are seen to be the most powerful, but they are not, they merely interpret the constitution and existing laws. The Legislative Branch can pass a new bill or constitutional amendment that invalidates a Supreme Court Order and if the bill is signed into law, it supersedes the the Supreme Court order. They can also do that to a Presidential EO, but since the President will be needed to sign the bill into law and would not normally sign a bill that challenges their EO into law, the Legislative Branch would need enough vote to overcome the President’s veto. |
simondavid:Bros you are making a huge mistake and setting an unprecedented precedent in your marriage that you will never live up to. Agreed, you didn’t carry her along, apologize for that and promise her that you wouldn’t do it again. But, you should never beg anyone to marry you. Each person must make the decision to marry individually. Marriage is not a walk in the park, if you beg her to marry you today, you are setting yourself up for Failure and you will continue to beg her for eternity. Remember that, we are humans and this will not be your last ‘Bleep up’, when the next happen you will beg her for another 4 months? Please, let her be. Give her some space, if she is for you, she will come to her senses and look for you. More so, if what you stated here is accurate, her own friend deliberately did this to ensure you don’t get married to each other and by canceling the wedding, she is playing right into the script of her friend who under normal circumstances is an enemy at this point. The other scenario is that, she does not want the wedding anymore and she is not bold enough to tell you straight up, she therefore connived with her friend to cook up this elaborate plot just to get a ‘reason’ to cancel the wedding. The typical Nigeria girl that I know, will do everything to tie that knot with you, especially when one of their friends turned rogue and want to play the spoiler. Even many Nigeria women no longer break their homes simply on account of their husbands cheating, because they know that women and their very own friend from day one set traps for their husbands to cheat, so the home will break up and they can come in. In summary, she does not have a hand in this, she will come back, but if she have a hand in it, good riddance to bad rubbish. |
Sirjamo:I am just afraid, this guy go disgrace Nigeria at the UN and the major News Agencies worldwide will carry it. Imagine him pulling one of these stuff at the UN, Nigeria and Nigerians will be subject of ridicule. Please, we can do better! |
kcprince:Follow no one! Supreme Court and other lower courts no dey collect old Naira notes again, if you go file case with them. Physician heal thyself first! Make Supreme Court first obey their own order first! |
GeorgWashinton:That mindset….I can’t afford to lose her towards someone that is just a girlfriend is mind blowing. Watch it and be careful, that is your weak point and would be the source of your failure tomorrow. Especially because she does not love and can’t sacrifice to that level. Just pause and think for a second, someone that you can’t afford to lose just kicked out to the curb because you want to better your future….she just told you now as clear as it can be, that she can afford to lose you.…wise up my brother! |
Zupay:I support your cousin's decision, and as you stated don't pressure her further. However, if the father refuses to train the boy, your cousin should not abandon him. Let her train him even to University while he is in Nigeria. It is very likely that, after finishing University in Nigeria, his brain would have properly reset....after this point, your cousin might start considering plans to relocate him. |
God1000:China flew many of the same balloons across US under Trump and they did not make the evening news and Trump did not shot any down, Trump must be a pussy, then. |
gidgiddy:The same reason that makes PMB to travel abroad for ear infection and likewise for thousands of our politicians - None trust the medical treatments obtained locally in Nigeria. |
grandstar:They are caught between the rock and a hard place here. Even if the the donor was not altruistic, they must assert that he was, because under the law all live organ donors must be altruistic otherwise the donation is illegal and they can not open their case by agreeing to an illegal act. The problem with invoking that, someone acted altruistic is that, the person has to agree with you. In this case, the person that would have defended them is in the opposition. and since the guy is been treated as a victim, the law covers and immune him from prosecution even if he admitted to being part of the illegal act to accept money and favor in exchange for one of his kidneys. And if the guy starts that, he was in it for the money, that throws their 'altruistic' defense out of the window unless they can then proof that, he was once acting unselfish with no desire for financial gains or return favors and he is now lying....which will be a tough one. The line that...."Nigerian looks after each other" is a big lie and the defense will eat them raw on that, I wish I can tell that to my POS agent who is charging me 30% to exchange Naira for Naira. |
Berrityga:For interbank they all interact with a single intermediary settlement system and network and that where the shock point is. And this is truly typical because this type huge spike in network traffic was never anticipated on the interbank IP network. TCP timeout are bound to take place with little delays. This will truly help the interbanking network to rescale their network, but I doubt if it will worth it to drastically scale up, because who is going to pay for the extra overhead? |
Kobojunkie:You are the selecting Bible passages that suits your narratives: 1. God did not curse marriage in Gen 3:16. He cursed the Serpent, Eve & Adam for disobeying his commandments. And the curse are in Gen 3:14-19, you conveniently omitted those verses. Plus, the curses laid out there happens to every man and irrespective of marriage, even eunuchs called of God or given birth to as eunuchs would share from these curses. 2. The passage in Matt 19 about eunuch specifically stated some were made eunuch, some were born as eunuch, etc ….no where did it say All, so stop generalizing it…God did not give all men the same gifts and abilities, not everyone of God’s children will be a Pastor, Prophet, etc. 3. Isaiah 58 & Zach. 7 was talking to sinners who are still engaging in Fasting. It did not define any manner or mode of fasting. If you are a sinner, there is no point fasting as it is worthless and of no use. |
Lifeinbits:Only admission wey she get, na him she dey Jose you? If only she knows how hundreds of people with bonafide US student admission that the US embassy rejects each week she will be humbled. Plus, it is far easier to get admission into a US University than into a Nigeria University, I don’t know why you have not gotten one yourself? |
36STATES:You are misrepresenting the facts here and must be doing it deliberately as you sound eloquent and may know the accurate representations of these facts or have access to them. 1. These is no law against rewarding surrogate mothers. Only that, UK courts cannot enforce surrogate contracts or agreements to either make the surrogate mother give up the baby after birth or the intended mother to pay certain rewards. The UK law also forbids third parties from helping the surrogate mom or intending mom to craft such agreement or contract. Outside of the above, the surrogate mom and intending mom can enter into any agreement they which to including rewards but the court will not help them enforce it. However if there are issues, family courts in UK would intervene and decide the case without regards to any agreement or monies paid and they can award cost against the intending mom for the benefit of the surrogate mom. 2. The The United Kingdom’s Modern Slavery Act 2015 under which they were charged does not specify age and the prosecution does not need to proof age, so it does not matter if the guy is 90 or 13 years, all that is required is that, he is a human being and alive when it happened. 3. Money for organ donor is not ‘fluid’ as you put it, the law is against it period! 4. By falsifying records and stating that, the donor is a relative, they bypassed the independent assessment of HTA - Human Tissue Authority, which is mandated to interview non relative donations to ensure that, no coercion was done, no rewards were promised and they will go over the risks with the donor and donors have a right to opt out. |
Kobojunkie:Bros, if you look at it from that angel, then everything we do on earth as humans is of this world…. Even fasting, praying, sleeping, eating, going to church on Sunday, etc are all of this world, we wouldn’t be doing all that in heaven, angels don’t do that, just like they don’t marry. God said, ‘It is not good for a man to live alone, let me therefore create a helpmate for him.’ That is the genesis of marriage. If God said marriage is good, do not cast it as not-good as you are directly in opposition to God’s spoken words. And none of the passages you quoted contradicted want God said in Genesis. Yes there is wrong way to fast and wrong way to pray. The purpose of fasting is not to honor God, rather it is to exact control over oneself, so we can be focused and disciplined while praying to God. God will not answer your prayers simply because you added fasting to the menu….see fasting as a means to an end and not an end in itself. |
post=120702452:I understand she is sick and I pray she get healed. But, how is she innocent? She was part of the whole game to exploit this poor guy, yes the guy was part it for the money too but later developed cool feet. None of them are innocent but his involvement is protected by the law. The law was purposely created to protect the guy and any donor in his shoes in the future. This law have same protection as statutory rape laws. Your defense can’t be, the under age girl wanted it, or enticed me into or enjoyed it, even if all that were true, you are still guilty. Here the law is against rewarding organ donors and more restrictions are placed on organ donations from non-family members. So they all connived to create a non-existing family relationship and sold it unanimously to the authorities as such and also set aside certain rewards for the guy, which are all against the law. If they had told the authorities that, the donor is not a family member and that he will be rewarded for his donation, their request would had been denied as it flys in the face of the law. |
kenedyx:Why not be open with with, show him the quote you got from the other suppliers and you should not compare his quote with that of his supplier. You got the job through him and got it merely because you are his brother and plus you have the skills. If you sideline him, next time I doubt if he will be contacting you. |
