So government should create ministries for every group that have grievances in Nigeria and are distressing the economy? How about Ministry of IPOB Affairs or Ministry of Armed Robbers Affairs….the list goes on. |
MadamVanessa:Mumu You! You think if he had not hustled and made a name for his brand, Peak Milk & UAC Gala would have hopped on his popular identifiable brand idle to market their products? Or he should have allow them to profit off his sweat? Ask yourself why they didn’t use ‘madamvenessa’ to market their products? |
Reference:No one in the USA either the anti-gun group is asking for gun ban. Simple gun control measures would include mandatory FBI background checks before guns are purchased Nationally. Secondly, no one need an AR-15 Assault guns, ban them. This is not the first time, they have been ban in the USA, mass shootings reduced in the US then. Thirdly, set a minimum age of about 21yrs for gun purchase. Fourth reduce magazine sizes. Many States in the US have these laws in their books and to some extend it is helping, but since neighboring states don’t have these laws, criminals sneak the guns across to other states, hence there is a need for National solution. Yes, as you stated criminals will still find a way of getting their hands on guns….but, criminals will not waste their ammunitions and illegally gotten guns that will so expensive by then on going into schools and malls to commit mass murder…they are sensible enough to preserve their gun power and use them in carrying out their criminals enterprise of making money & their gang warfare. Also, most if not all mass shootings in the USA are from guns legally purchased. |
wallarwallar:That’s not entirely true. Most of the time, even if they collect money from all the candidates, they will cast their vote for the candidate that dropped more money! Imagine collecting $50,000 from one candidate and you go ‘vote your mind’…that same mind wey you don sell? Fear no go even fit that delegate do anyhow…because na anyhow him or her go see. |
STEWpid:You must have been one of those that skipped Geography class in secondary….. From France to Spain then into Morocco in Africa is land locked. He simply hopped into a boat with his bike from UK across the English Channel into France and rode from them into Spain, then into Morocco. He does not need to cross any Ocean. |
EkoErrands:Bros take the accusation of rape seriously! I know you might not be in the western country, but state practicing. When a woman says No, even she is your wife….unless through caressing, and other means you can bring her to change her mind either verbally or otherwise, take is as a No….either she is your wife, girlfriend or someone else. In the USA you can be held criminally liable for raping your own wife….ie if deep down, they don’t want it and truly felt violated…..it does not make sense at all, but it is the law. |

Fidinno:Very true. Amaechi is just exaggerating functions of the panel, just so he can condemn their work. They are just investigating, that finding out how he spent the State’s money and if they find something fishy, they will pass their reports to the organ that can prosecute him. |
princeemmma:Did you google that on the internet or actually read it it in detail with case laws that have resolved retrospective versus prospective Acts of NASS? Section 137(3), was signed into law in 2018, about 7-8 years after GEJ took the Oath of office and Section 137(3) did not state that it is retrospective. Meanwhile, the Nigeria Supreme Court in many case laws and notebly In OLANIYI VS. AROYEHUN (1991) 5 NWLR (pt 194) 652 have held that, an Act of NASS is prospective unless specified otherwise in the Act. |
princeemmma:Which law says he cannot contest again? |
PM when they confiscate the bullion van, arrest the drivers and their sender! Nonsense ingredients! |
Penguin2:Is it not Nigeria again? Everything is bought and paid for, you just have to know the price the last binder is staking their bets on and come up with something higher for things to swing your way. You also pray and hope, you have enough money in reserve to keep increasing your bid in other to keep others out. |
chiefolododo:Na only you follow come? Only you, use your money buy data, come use your hand click the ‘sex and indecency’ promotion, come dey complain about the promotion again! |
blazingblender:Looking at it differently, maybe the father had always wished to see his daughter proposed to but they have been delaying hoping that the man will life longer. If he died suddenly, it is possible this is their way of wanting to still do the proposal in ‘front’ or ‘presence’ of the father. |
seanwilliam:You are hearing about it, because they have an effective tracking system, this thing full Nigeria remain wey people dey cover under cloth and dey visit one Babalawo or another or one church for cure and not been tracked. Even the ones that visits hospitals in Nigeria are not even been tracked. |
ken6488:Number of military personnel does not equal military strength. There are many documentaries online on NATO member countries' military strength and their individual power index rating. |
IPIGSRMUMU:What is Turkey’s contribution to NATO? Yes, all 30 member countries must vote to allow new members, Turkey is in NATO for their own protections and their concerns is about the two countries refusing to sell them military equipment and about the Kurdish party that the USA also supports and Turkey can do nothing about. Once USA the real owner and major NATO financier steps and send envoys to NATO, they will iron out everything and Turkey will walk the straight line. |
Angelacruz:I think you meant to say…..overrated. |
Cubalabloo:When US speaks, Turkey will keep quiet. USA is the main power behind NATO, Sweden and Finland even have more to contribute to NATO militarily than Turkey.......Turkey is a consumer and a huge beneficiary in NATO as they need NATO protection more compare to the major western NATO power-houses. Tayyip Erdogan is just making noise. |
Odemeode5:Yes, it is Oghogho, as stated I said it is happiness or joy. And in English, there is a difference between pleasure and happiness, but in Isoko I doubt if there is a separate word for ‘pleasure’. If I want to express pleasure in Isoko, I will use Oghogho and most people would too…..However, if you think there is another word for pleasure you can state it. |
AldrichAmes:You appear to the ignorant one here....Ukraine has also been part of USA and NATO drills for years...So, they must have been quasi-NATO countries according to your flawed logic. Ukraine...was 'America prize' yet America had been the one opposing their membership all along. When your head is not right up your ass, pull up a world map and see the strategic advantage Sweden and Finland give to NATO against Russia....NATO now have free access to Russia's both through land and through two sea/water ways......Lookup the strategic position of the seaport in Helsinki, Finland and how close it is to Russia.....Ukraine did not offer anything close to this type of military strategic positioning. Also, Moscow is much more closer in range to NATO now, if the membership pull through than anything Ukraine would have offered. |
ruggedtimi:Come enter Uber go attend the event. |
jackals:If you like him that much to start a relationship or to go on another date, make sure to send him a message saying, ‘You are sorry for ignoring his messages’. Two wrongs cannot make a right, you realized you were wrong to have overly thrown yourself at him during your first date, you are also wrong to ignore his messages for two days. |
corpershun:I am drawing a blank on 'Oghenemurevi' maybe it is my inability to pronounce. However, Oghenemairo means God is Great....or literally God is Greater! |
whitemosquito:This is very difficult, especially if you think that, there is a difference between pleasure and happiness/joy. Joy/happiness is Oghogoho and that could also go for pleasure. |
darfay:@Satoshi2019 I would think Oghenemine is 'God here are mine'....but I might be rendering it from an Isoko equivalent? |
Tejirhee:Yes, it's literal translation is Good head....but, it actually means Good luck. An Isoko synonymy for Emamuzo is Uzoezi/Uzezi, which also can literal translated to Good head, but it actually means Good luck. |
4kc:God is worthy to be praised. |
muheeb01:God First. |
aminulive:Make him fone Elon Musk....Elon can spare him the $1b change he is about to pay Twitter if back away from the deal. |
SARSCoV2:That is my take took, he and his team must have done their research and take all that into consideration before signing off on the deal. Moreso, he get to fork up $1b if he walked off now....that is almost 2.3% gain for twitter, most likely they will use it for stock-buy to prop twitter shares that went down when Elo Musk stated that he is going to reinstate Trump. |
DrySaliva:I don’t think it is unique to Nollywood or that, more deaths happens within Nollywood. People die on a daily bases in Nigeria, but not all are News worthy, notable or will generate traffic for bloggers. Certain elite groups e.g. Nollywood will traffic to bloggers, hence they make sure to put them in our faces. |
