Putin should jettison the idea of old Russian empire that was actually created by invasion and annexation.

Russia have veto power in UN Security Counsel, so I don’t see anything been adopted at the UN if Russia opposes.

However, NATO is a body of its own and can adopt sending peace keeping forces anywhere without asking for UN’s approval.

But, the war with Ukraine is America trap for Soviet, given Russia experience in Afghanistan, then America experience in Afghanistan and Iraq, occupying a hostile Country even if you are a super Power is impossible.

Now couple that, with another Super Power silently backing the hostile Country…America will use Ukraine Army, Gorilla & equipment to fight a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine then Couple with the coordinated sanction, such that when Russia emerges from this they will wish they never take this bait.

America can never wish for a better set of opportunities to so deal with Russia than what Putin has handed them, and they will milk this situation to the last drop of either Russia or Ukraine blood without directly firing a single shot or putting their soldiers in direct line of fire.

Very soon all those weapons that America have been secretly testing will find their way into Ukraine and if out of frustration Putin attack any of the surrounding NATO Countries through which these weapons & equipment will be funneled, they will be seen as the aggressors and NATO will respond from all corners.

Plus, before Putin finishes with this homework that the Americans have given him in Ukraine, more surrounding Countries will join NATO.

The only thing that Putin have to counter is the Nuclear weapon, but he is not suicidal; he have kids and a girlfriend and wealth and various mansions around the world he have stashed away to enjoy later in life, so dying in a Nuclear war or living as a fugitive hiding from international law will not allow him to escalate this to a Nuclear war with NATO when about 5 other NATO countries have Nuclear weapon and will respond in kind.

Jesus was talking about divorce and marrying those that are divorced.

No where in these passages did he mention marrying one wife. He made them ‘Male & Female’ does not say anything about one man, one wife. It is referring to the two distinct genders that God created. The same reference was made during the time God was to destroy the world through flood and he asked Noah to get all animals into the ark ‘Male & Female’.

You refer to the Old Testament, but nothing in the laws then or in the Ten Commandments forbids marrying more than one wife, if it was a grievous sin, I do not think it would have been overlooked in the laws and in the commandments.

Lastly, it was widely practiced in the old days by even men ‘after God’s heart’. Each time these men sinned against God, He sends his prophet to go warn them and ask them to repent and turn back to him, not once in the entire Bible did God rebuked or send His prophets to rebuke someone because they married more than one wife.

That said, marrying more than one wife is a huge undertaking and a financial drain; I wouldn’t advise even my enemy to do it.

Yes, it was very bad to impoverished Africa and enslaved there people by the West. But there were robust arguments and debates in the West about ending slavery. These debates were allowed to continue because the West was democratic and opposing views were allowed.

If it was Russia or China that came to Africa, first they will never have left and opposing debates and those who hold them will be muted and killed.

If by miracle Africa escaped, Russia and China will still till today consider Africa their own territory and will be nursing and putting in place planes to re-annex Africa back just like Ukraine & Taiwan.

It is never a good position to be a powerless Country and had to align with another powerful Country, but since it is inevitable that some Countries will be powerful and many others will be powerless, I will render my Country align with a democratic Country than with an Authoritarian and dictatorship Country.

Even Russia & China very own neighbors where some speaks the same language with Russia or China wants to align with West, that tells you a lot about their present day fears about their big brother next door.
