What will you do? Am even surprised, you are asking. Let her be, and go give a Thanksgiving offering next Sunday for God opening your eyes. What you just got on a platter on gold, is what those men currently undergoing the shock of their lives, when the dna test came back that, his 15 yrs son is not his son. She is a lesbian and a cheat, let her be! |
mattmogan88:Good for him, why should the sister be paying for wedding even? If it is part of the money, the groom gave her, simply go back and tell him to pony up more as the money is not enough. Her relationship with her brother is already bad, I hope the housewife wannabe is not going to complicate matters and tell his fiancé the truth and spoil relationship between the in-laws. |
PHijo:Listen, I am not disagreeing with some of your point, am simply asking where do we draw the line? Yes, the case incident was overblown, but religious objectors have hijacked and expand on it. Contrary to your point, their are now religious objectors in Medicines, Pharmacy, Military, Teachers, etc. Their are Doctors who will not prescribe or administer blood on you, even if your life depends on it. Some Doctors will not prescribe abortion medication, even if the life of the mother is at stake, there are pharmacies that will not dispense those drugs to you. Employers will refused covering certain medications to their employees, despite the fact that, it is the employees that is paying for it and government is subsidizing. The employees are stuck as they can’t get those medicines elsewhere without paying huge cost out of pocket for what is already would have been zero dollars to them. Some will take a public servant position, drawing salary from tax payers, among which there are gays, but they will refuse attending to these people. My thing is, if you are in public life; you should not choose who you service...if you want to serve a particular subset of society, then go into the private sector.....and don’t collect public funds or tax payers money, because dirty monies paid by gays is among them and you don’t want to soil your holy hands with such money. |
PHijo:So, where do we draw the line? If a Doctor feels that, it is against their faith to resuscitate an individual, it should also be rested. Plus, we have a thousand and one faiths out there, do we respect the religious deference of all of them or just that of the ones in the majority? |
PHijo:Their faith does not allow them to render certain services to same sex couples or is it their politics? Where in the Bible did it say, it is sinful to bake a cake for a same sex couple or sinners? All sins are equal under the eyes of God, and all will have the same punishment. To select the type of sinners or people actively in sin that you prefer to render service to and not to some have no bearing on the Christian faith. These are political religious extremist using faith as a cover. Jesus told his disciples to allow the tares and wheats to grow together until the harvest day. God almighty caused rain and sun to shine equally on the tares and the wheats, He causes the soil to enrich both and allow both to flourish until the harvest. Religious folks, who don’t know about Christianity are fond of making up rules, regulations like the Scribes and Pharisees and call it ‘faith’ then pretend that, they are serving God. |
PHijo:Can you mention an instant, where Democrats deprive you of your freedom, as a religious Christian individual to worship? It is interesting, the way you coined it, because there are other religions beyond Christianity and everyone of them, should be afforded the same level of equity, but Trump and Republicans don’t think so, so who is against religious freedom now? |
prezeus:Mr. Wise one, and the kids adopted by every other couple or individual in the world gave their consent or told them, they wanted to be adopted? You can see how myopic, illogic and swallow your reasoning is. |
Judolisco:You don’t even believe, they hacked into any system. So, there is no point in that exercise in futility and am not interested in convincing you otherwise. |
Sibtygarr:It is their choice to adopt, is your question not the same as....why do people procreate and give birth to children that ends up in motherless baby homes? If you can’t take care of your baby, why give birth? Also, your question is rhetorical and am not gay, so will not be in the position to answer it. Also, are you not presumptuous to think that, the reason they are gay, is because they don’t want to give birth to kids? If that is not your position, I will agree with you that, their lifestyle prevents them from having babies, but if we judge them by that yardstick, I may ask....why are Catholic Priests & Nuns allowed to adopt children, and we have seen example of some doing it, essentially when they grow older or leave the church? |
placeofallure:That is me, I even go further than that: 1. My WhatsApp number is different from my main number I call people on, if you think because you have my number, you can look me up or chat me...tough luck. I only give it to trusted insiders. 2. Last seen off. 3. DP only contacts. 4. Read Receipt off....Yes, I know I wouldn’t get a read receipt from you, but I dot care. 5. Blocked everyone from adding me to their nonsense WhatsApp group. You have to chat me first, tell me what this new group is all about, if I like it, I join...if I don’t I will skip it. Gone are the days, when I will wake up and are already a member of 5 additional groups. 6. About - Nobody. 7. Location - Nobody 8. Status - Nobody 9. Two steps verification - Enabled. 10. All WhatsApp Notifications - Muted. 11. WhatsApp banner - Muted. 12. Save picture & video to Album - Disabled If you know any one I miss, let me know and I will add. |
VEXT:It’s more stupid, rubbish and hypocritical that you condemning people who are adopting babies have not adopted even one. Your hatred for the people adopting these babies have blinded you to the plights and needs of these babies you pretending you love, making you to stand in their way to care, love, shelter, etc like the Scribes & Pharisees standing in the gates of heaven, not going in themselves and preventing others from going in. It is your religious type, who put themselves above all others like the Scribes and Pharisees that Jesus rebuked and cursed....Woe on to thee Scribes and Pharisees! |
Flier:Not true, you can only ban him on simple majority vote, only if you are able to convict him using 2/3rd majority vote. I don’t want to post here, look up Article 1, section 3. Otherwise, any party controlling the Senate can just ban the other party’s candidates by bring up some charges on voting on it. There must be a House Impeachment, A Senate convict on 2/3rd, then a Senate vote on simply majority for it to happen. |
Judolisco:Remove your head from the sand; All US intelligence community, more than 9 of them including the Inspector General office concluded that, Russian hacked the US Election system in 2016. These are not Democrats, they are even Trump own appointees. |
Flier:The option that gives the Senate to ban him from holding office again, is only available if the Senate can with 2/3 majority vote to convict him. If the Senate is not able to convict him, they can’t ban him from running again. This is the position of Article 1, Section 3 of the US constitution. |
Odewaleadesoye:Makes perfect sense! Removal from office is just one of the consequences of a Senate convicting a President after impeachment. After conviction, the Senate can also move to vote on further penalties against Trump, including baring him from running for office again. The Senate can also after conviction vote to recommend him to the AG for criminal prosecution for the crimes the Senate have convicted him on. Further, according to the constitution; the Senate must immediately convey a trial once the House send it, the Articles of impeachment. The later above is the more reason the Senate have to conduct the trial, because they are under constitutional obligations to do so. However, I doubt if Trump will be convicted, the only curiosity here is, how many Republicans will vote to convict. |
Guestlander:That’s is them, the religious scribes and Pharisees, who Jesus caused and rebuked. These are the people, who process to be closer to God more than the rest of humanity and are worse off. They would have supported Trump and rejected baby Jesus, his mother and father or even lock them in cages as they crosses their border to seek refuge. They are obsessed about fetuses and does not want anything to do with the child once born. The Republicans would will fight heaven and to ensure that a woman gives birth, but afterwards will drive baby and child into the cold night with no means. Go look up statistics of adoptions in the US, those they label as inconsiderate to fetuses top the list of people visiting motherless baby homes to adopt children. These same Bishops and Cardinals were mute while child molestation fester in their various dioceses, some even gave cover to the abusers and shield them from accountability and they are here dishing out nonsense. |

BlowYourMind:I read it, what do you mean by ‘Like domestic’. I do not see how else it is been treated unless you meant by your reference to ‘domestic’ to mean as a local issue and not a national one. |
BlowYourMind:I take it that, you don’t know what the term domestic case means. A domestic case, is another term for a family case e.g. husband and wife, custody, family support, children and disputes within the family. The people been prosecuted are not related to the lady or her child, so there is nothing domestic about the case. None the less, the fact that a case is domestic, does not make it less serious. A husband killing the wife is a domestic case and also a felony. The charges against the people here are also serious felonies. |
Devgod1:Which is exactly my point. Glad the light bulb finally lit up in your brain, that all the hype about 75m votes and history about an incumbent is a big bunch of nothing! |
AntiChristian:That one? I thought the religious Nairalanders & pastors told us that, we should not take the Coronavirus vaccine, that na him be the mark of the beast 666? Since the same set of people are in love with Trump, they are often quiet and don’t mention the fact that, it is Trump their messiah that rollout the |
Devgod1:...and his opponent got more than 80m votes, more than any opposition candidate ever. And the turnout for the election was historic, more than any ever.... So, what is your point? It only goes to show that, Trump is a polarizing figure, just like he turns out Republicans, he also energizes the opposition the more to go out and vote. Even the runoff in Georgia and the General...runoffs are usually low key will little turnout, that was still a record high. The key indicator is not how many people you turned out, the big question is; did you win? Despite his huge turn, he still lead his party to lose the White House, lose the Senate and didn’t take the House. The first time he ran, people were lackluster, plus they don’t know him too well and are willing to give him the benefit of a doubt, now he is a catalyst to turnout the opposition. Most Republicans love their country and believe in its democratic process, with the stunt he pulled after losing and after 60 Court losses, plus the DC riot, his political life is over except to play spoiler within the Republican Party. Most Republicans and Democrats still strongly believe in their court system as the final arbiter of dispute, it is the single institution that still holds the country together and once the courts have spoken, they expect you to obey, whether you lost or not. Trump would have stopped after the court spoke and accept the results, he didn’t and lost the Georgia runoff for the Republicans, two seats that was theirs for the taking. |
In reacting to... “His veiled insinuation that Muslims have a pool of violence to draw from...” While stating that, those insinuations by the Bishop are disgusting, disheartening, as well as condemnable....” The aggrieved Muslims here, then went further to threaten the Bishop with violence and a promise to crucify him. |
lexy2014:There was a US programmer, who wanted to proof a point. He opened a Twitter account and wrote a program that, copies Trump’s twit feeds on a daily bases and twit them from his experiment account. His account was flagged multiple times, suspended, etc while Trump’s was intact despite the exact same contents. It shows that, Trump was been favored and given preference, he crossed the line long time ago. |
Nonsense ingredients, why not you post those nudes here, so that we can help warn & shame those rascals? |
hermesprogidy:Mitch is still in the majority. The Senate unlike the house have not switched to Democrats yet. The Chuck need the vote of the VP to become the majority and since Biden & Harris has not been sworn in, she cannot act as the President of the Senate. Mike Pence is still the President of the Senate and the tie breaker vote, so a Senate leadership election is called today, Mitch will win; hence none has been called for. Once Biden & Harris are sworn in on 20th and CA Governor appoints Harris replacement in the Senate and that replacement is sworn in; then the whole Senate will vote for a new leader, that is only when Chucks will become the majority leader. |
lmm4real:Based on Mitch statement, the trial will not start until the Senate is back into session on the 19th, it will require a unanimous consensus or the agreement of both the Democrat's leader and Republican to meet early. Though Chuck is calling to meet early, but Mitch has so far resisted that. Which means, Trump's will be out of office when his trial will be in full mode. |
emmadeking:We can move forward now, we are on the same page that the House are in charge of their own timeline and timetable and can chose how long an impeachment can take base on their passed rules. Go listen to Mitch comments, the Republicans are more afraid of Trump in 2024. Mitch stated, he believes the impeachment will help to rid Trump from the party and he welcome it, but has not decided how he will vote. It is ironic you think, it is the Democrats who are afraid of Trump come 2024. They defeated him on Nov 3 during the General Elections, and also on January 5th, where they took the two Senate seats in Georgia. Many Republicans are afraid of getting primaried hence their vote in the House today. I truly don’t think this think have fully played out. The Republican Party is currently searching for a leader and a direction. They have start asking to remove those who voted to impeach Trump from House committee seats. Also, depending on how this shakes out, Trump might even leave the party and form a new one. I truly doubt if Trump will run in 2024, if he does there are many Republicans who are mad that he incited his supporters to go to the Capito and many will not vote for him. |
foleskay:The House impeachment today, is just officially accusing Trump of the charges layout in the Article of Impeachment. Trump need to be tried in the Senate on those charges, where 67 votes are needed to convict him, though not very likely, no US President has ever been convicted in the Senate after House Impeachment. The Senate can further vote to strip Trump off some retirement benefits, put restrictions on him, etc....these also are very unlikely but requires just simple majority vote. They can also vote to refer him to DOJ for prosecution, which is not likely. |
MadamExcellency:I stated that in my original post....in stating the following: “... and it is most bipartisan impeachment in US History, more than that Bill Clinton’s.” Only 5 Democrats voted to impeach Clinton, here 10 Republicans voted to impeach Trump, which doubles that amount. If you listen to the House debate today, no Republicans defended Trump or said he didn’t bear any responsibility. They were only talking about process, timing and ‘unity’.....even Mitch, the Republican Senate majority leader stated that Trump committed impeachable crimes. |
emmadeking:Please help here....how many days did the US constitution say the House has to take? |
MadamExcellency:I did not say the Senate will convict him. I only stated that, the impeachment was bipartisan with 10 Republicans voting to impeach. The Senate vote will also be bipartisan. No US President has ever been convicted following impeachment, so no one is saying this will be any different. The only thing of News worthy is, the bipartisan nature of this vote and one to come in about two weeks in the Senate. |

Where is consent by the kids that they want to be adopted ??
