As far as bible is concern, I can see I am getting some facts from pilgrim.1 which I believe he will not reverse her statement. Nevertheless, she would always struggle hard to justify bible is still infallible, which I belief such impression is publicily falacious. Even, to many christians belivers, bible is mixed with some doctored God's prophetic messages plus many stories from many unknown writers. The expostion of bible within itself revealed clearly that it is the work of men which is either a guess work or one relating to another third party information. thus full of errors. How could someone now raise out his/her voice loud to prove bible is infallible God's word. Undoubtedly, the messages therein mixed with some positive moral teaching with many incoherence logics. If we are to question a bible believer about many subjects and he/she is to provide an answers according to what God says in his book, bilief me, never will you find a definte answers from them, rather their own cynical judgement differ from one another, many evidences have shown in this forum. Hmm, you know, much lies could be formulaed when people are trying to secure an unjustifiable.

Often times, what you may be complaining about is actually the very thing that Muslims do. They have been quite unbalanced and attacked the very Biblical faiths they claim were revealed by allah in the Qur'an. Have you ever learnt that muslims are mandated to study and call the attention of jews and christians to a common words amongst them. You see, I think my God is right. If a person sees another suffering from a fatal disease, and he firmly believes that he holds the cure for the disease, and he also claims to have sympathy for the human race, then how is it possible for him to intentionally turn away when called upon to provide a remedy? Then, where is the unbalanced attack and who is the ignorant?

The Bible is a collection of several books which were penned by several authors that were inspired by God. If these men were contradicting themselves as you allege, then the Quran is making a false claim when it states that Allah revealed the same books that you are criticizing!

If your accusation was against David, Moses, Solomon and several other prophets, did you forget that Muhammad got to know these names only through the Biblical faiths? Were Moses, David and Solomon the "unknown authors" that Muhammad spoke about in the Quran? Did Allah in the Quran claim that he sent down the books of the Law (Torah), Psalms (Zabur) and Gospels (Injil) by "unknown authors"?

Nobody is accusing all the beloved prophets of God. Moses, David and others were all right. People distorted the truth after their demise. The Jewish claim some part of the old testament as their Torah given to moses. Was Gospel(injil) you read were given to Jesus. Why do we have the Gospel according to Men(Mathew, Luke, John) in the new testament. Where is the original Gospel given to jesus, can you please site it from the bible.

The concept of calling God father is a tradition people misinterpreted. If God is called father does it make Him share part of human attribute. It is just the concept of ownership and provider. Allah is an arabic word if you translate to Aramaic is Eloi or El-lawh and Elowah-Hebrew with similar "Allawh" in pronunciation  and jesus said "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachtani?" Mark 15:34. You will quite agree with me that you know your life father differ from Father, the creator. I believe God will never revealed a confussion.

I do not find anywhere in the Quran where Muhammad ever agreed with Moses, Isaiah or Jesus Christ in addressing God as "FATHER". Do you care to show me?

Definitely not. Quran uses the perfect word to describe GOd almighty as pronounced by Jesus, Allah, no plural. Godfather, gods, areafather etc. Can you see the transformation and misrepresention in the trend; Mankind had denigrated the beautiful concept of of the loving Father in Heaven to being the Father of the "only begotten son" - to being physically like a human being, because begetting is an animal act, belonging to the lower animal functions of sex.

In sha Allah, we are engaging in this conversation not to affirm any disgust against anybody other than to encourage our fellow being to reason along; the reality of this revelation which I belief the whole world scientists, scholars and philosophers could not be wronged. Thus thier amazing thought that such a book with outstanding accuracy(both syntax and semantic) could not be from just ordinary illiterate, rather, a well learned person.

I think you should perfect your intention being free from hatred whatsoever. If anybody could have responded base on scholars' veiw on the hadith, it is to the step of Ijtihad prophet Muhammad permitted us. It is never a sin if you are right or wrong in its application as long as you don't against the injunction according to the Quran. Moreover, there is no problem to us as regards to this hadith as it is not a usual practice even during the life of the prophet and after all, it was never followed by shaaba after his demise.

In clear fact, if an hadith is sought to have contradicted to what Quran says or the meaning is ambiguous or genuine, it is subjected to the opinion of the scholars (ijtihad) according to sharia. Thus, the response of every muslim on the hadith you quoted in this thread. Whichever, what Allah(SWA) says in this regards is that whenever there is such ambiguity, turn back to the book of Allah, that is, the Qur'an. It is in its light you can find the correct guidance to what you differ as there is no reliabiltiy in any hadith that against what is revealed in the Qur'an.

Nevertheless, it is very wrong to breastfeed an adult and it is forbidden for a man to see the nudity of woman that doesn't belong to him according to Islam. Thanks for exposing such hadith for discussion like this. More of it are welcome in a more decent presentation.

In a matter regarding incest. Islam never habor such practice. All the relatives that can marry each other have been clearly explained in several posts on this thread. Any contrary view base on what you read in the Quran or hadith should be clarified.

Why all muslims worldwide are not practicing the same. In the commentary of this hadith by Imam Al-Qurtubi:

“Salim (in this Hadith) is Salim ibn Ma’qal…Abu Hudhayfa had adopted him in accordance with the customs of the Arabs. He (Salim) had been brought up and raised by Abu Hudhayfa and his wife as their own son. When the verse of the Qur’an “Call them (your adopted children) by (the names of) their (real) fathers….” (Surah al-Ahzab, V: 5) was revealed, the ruling of adopting children was abrogated (in that one can no longer consider an adopted son to be one’s own). However, Salim continued to reside and enter the house of Sahla (the wife of Abu Hudhayfa) as he was a minor. When he grew old and came close to puberty, both Abu Hudhayfa and Sahla disliked the idea of him entering freely upon Sahla, but they found it difficult to mention this to him, given the fact that he had lived with them (and was brought up by them), hence they asked the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) regarding this. The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) said to Sahla: “Suckle him and you would become unlawful for him, and (the dislike) which Abu Hudhayfa feels in his heart will disappear” hence she suckled him and it so happened (i.e. the dislike of Abu Hudhayfa disappeared)…” (al-Mufhim lima Ashkal min talkhis Kitab Muslim, 4/186, Dar Ibn Kathir print)".

Now, there is authentic testification to this that this is a special consideration for Hudaifa family alone and not general. The kayfiyah(how) the suckle was performed was clealy stated in Al-kitab Atabaqat by Ibn Sad and several other literatures. Summary of this facts are enumerated below:

1. Sahla would pour her breast-milk into a utensil each day for five continuous days and Salim would drink from it as its wrong for him to see her  unclothedness. (Al-kitab Atabqat 8/271 )

2. Suckling does not allowed beyond two years old in acordance with sharia as agreed by scholars and supported by Quran.

3. All the wives of the prophet rejected this idea and consider that of Hudaifa's wife as a special consideration as narated in the following hadith:
  “Umm Salama, the wife of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon
him), used to say that all the wives of the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) rejected the idea that one can come to them (without observing the rules of Hijab) with this type of breastfeeding (i.e. the suckling of an adult), hence they said to A’isha (Allah be pleased with her): “By Allah, we do not consider this but a dispensation given by the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) for Salim. No one is to be allowed to enter (our houses) with this type of fosterage(having been suckled after the proper period) and we do not subscribe to this view.” (Sahih Muslim, Bk 8, Number 3429)

In contrary to Queenisha's claim. It is very a grievious sin for a woman to expose her unclothedness to any man differ from those permitted by Allah and suckling is not allowed by adult. Whoever does it and lay claim to this hadith is acting ignorantly which Allah has forwarned us.

Answer my first question, tell us what is permitted according to christianity. My stand is marraige between relatives is never limited to Islamic tradition. Islam has come only to provide a limit on what is permited and encourage you to use wisdom in its application. This is a clear message which I cleverly enumerated in my first post.

The issue regarding autopsy is specifically neither stated in the Quran nor Hadith. It is view amongst the contemporary issue which fatwa on it is base on Ijma. Jurists view its bases on two exceptional cases:

1. Doubtful or suspicious murder cases
2. Environmental diseases or the likes in order to save future occurrence.

According to sharia, autopsy with respect to the above conditions is highly rated than for the body to be buried immediately.

First, Islamic jurists view the evil spread as a result of injustice in the case of murder as enormous than delaying the dead. Thus, Allah warn us of injustice in the following verses:

"O ye who believe! Stand out firmly For justice, as witnesses To Allah, even as against Yourselves, or your parents, Or your kin, and whether It be (against) rich or poor: For Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (Of your hearts), lest ye Swerve, and if ye Distort (justice) or decline To do justice, verily Allah is well-acquainted With all that ye do." Qr 4:135

"O ye who believe! Stand out firmly For Allah, as witnesses To fair dealing, and let not The hatred of others To you make you swerve To wrong and depart from Justice. Be just: that is Next to Piety: and fear Allah. For Allah is well-acquainted With all that ye do." Qr 5:8

" And do not kill yourselves(nor kill one another). Surely, Allah is most merciful to you." Qr:4:29

"And whoever commits that through aggression and injustice, We shall cast him into the Fire, and that is easy for Allah" Qr:4:30

Secondly, Islamic jurists view it in the welfarism of entire community towards safeguarding and protecting human life which is more crucial than respect given to the dead.
