Car Talk › Re: Why Do Nigerians Dislike Nissan Cars? by logica(m): 5:20pm On Jun 21, 2012
chucky234: Nigerians dislike Nissan? Are you joking or serious?
Nissan has always been in Nigeria from the days of Bluebird then Sonny then Premira and co.,Pathfinder has been in Nigeria since 1988 and people still buy them in daily.
Maxima and Altima was all over the place in the late 90s,Altima was actually a choice car in 1993 and Toyota,Honda and co were behind Altima in terms of design with the 1993 Camry,Accord (Hala) and the other saloon/sedan released same year as only Daewoo Espero and Chevrolet Cavallier came close.
Nissain cars are durable because my aunt still drive her 1990 Pathfinder which she bought in 1994 in Amsterdam,I still see people hustling with the once amazing Nissan Bluebird.
I wonder o; even considering the number of Muranos on the streets these days.

Fact is I think very few Nigerian men will find her attractive and most would only give her any attention because of her fame. She's definitely starved of Nigerian suitors; I bet most of her suitors are Caucasian.

Programming › Re: Website Vs Web Application. The Difference. by logica(m): 3:32pm On Jun 14, 2012
okeyxyz: simple, a website does tasks on the web, these task can be: display company info, advertising, get user data/registration, e-commerce, training/tutorials, movies etc. these are activities we used to do in the "brick & mortar" environments, now they are adapted(applied/application) to the web, thus web-app. cool

Mehn.., i'm feeling sooo coool!!!
So in your hazy mind, every single website has "user data/registration, e-commerce, training). Are those not dynamic components? Even more importantly, what is the architecture of a website that is nothing more than a collection of static HTML pages since you claim it is a web application? How many tiers does it have? be feeling cool in ignorance.

Note that I only chose to respond to you because of the inquiring mind who created this thread; before you lead the dude into the bush you are heading to.
Programming › Re: Website Vs Web Application. The Difference. by logica(m): 3:01pm On Jun 14, 2012
So how does all the twisting and turning tie in with nonsense you said earlier: "website is a web application"? I was about to get more technical but I'll leave you on your path into the bush.
Programming › Re: Website Vs Web Application. The Difference. by logica(m): 2:37pm On Jun 14, 2012
okeyxyz: Mehn, are you here to entertain me or what grin I'm really bursting with laughter hia o! So you are saying that if it's not a highly complex, multi-function, multi-module application package, then it cannot be an application? Just follow the simple definition of a software/web application. It's a software setup to accomplish a task. HTML langauge alone is coded to read files. is that not a task performed on the webhuh
Keep on bursting at being a dumb-azz. Even one of the links I tried to use to provide free education for you says: "The application can be as simple as a message board or a guest sign-in book on a website, or as complex as a word processor or a spreadsheet." So who said anything about complexity? Are you dyslexic? If you are, programming is not for you.
Programming › Re: Website Vs Web Application. The Difference. by logica(m): 2:29pm On Jun 14, 2012
okeyxyz: next time you want to use any references, be sure that it is well documented, validated & verified, which if you'd looked properly you'll see that the page you referred me to is not, otherwise you'd have noticed this heading
Dude get the fvck out of here. I can put up one million pages that will tell you what a web application is:

http://docs.oracle.com/javaee/1.4/tutorial/doc/WebApp.html
http://webtrends.about.com/od/webapplications/a/web_application.htm

Even Wikipedia has provided references for you to educate yourself, but you would rather be trying to be smart. You better learn what a web application really is before you start pushing yourself as an "expert" on developing one.
Programming › Re: Website Vs Web Application. The Difference. by logica(m): 2:21pm On Jun 14, 2012
okeyxyz: so if it does not dynamically interact with user input, it's not an application ehh? how about when it outputs files stored on websites, which of course static html does perfectly?
You call an HTTP GET of static files from a server an application? Jezuz, are you one of those half-baked "geniuses" they churn out from these mushroom computer schools? What processing does the server go through to send back the file? What logic determines the file it sends back? So a simple HTTP GET is processing or computation to you?
Programming › Re: Website Vs Web Application. The Difference. by logica(m): 2:07pm On Jun 14, 2012
okeyxyz: reallyhuh lwkmd. A web app is simply a software setup to accomplish a task on the web, wether static or dynamic. simples!!!
Are you laughing at your ignorance or what? Do you know what an application is? Can a static website provide output from a user's input? I will not even bother trying to further educate you.

Or better yet, read what your mates already know about web applications up to 15 years ago (if in 2012 you still don't know what it is): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_application
Programming › Re: Website Vs Web Application. The Difference. by logica(m): 1:51pm On Jun 14, 2012
lordZOUGA: so a website with a dynamic UI is a web app
It sure is. What definitely makes a website a web application is no more that the provision of more than read-only features. It's not just providing output, but output based on input from the user (interactivity).
Programming › Re: Website Vs Web Application. The Difference. by logica(m): 12:44pm On Jun 14, 2012
okeyxyz: to make it short, a website is a web application, but a web application is not necessarily a website. it's not hard to grasp, (i believe) every technical person knows that. Only the layman might confuse these
You got it reversed. A web application can be a website, and a website is NOT always a web application (your typical company website with static HTML pages are not web applications).

I feel some sympathy for him though...I mean, what, with the affliction that comes with having a sired a demented specimen.
Feel sympathy for the pair of zynjanthopuses that made you. Now get this because it's obvious you just jumped in head 1st like like the standard issue mor0n that you are:
If I was of age (or even born) during the Biafran War, I would've fought on the side of the Biafrans despite being Yoruba just as a few Yorubas did (based on my philosophical leaning). But I would most likely have been killed by the type of tribalistic monkeys (for being Yoruba) whom I'm targetting here. If you are one of them then remain in my cross-hairs. If not clear from my view and let me see road.

edicolove: @Demdem,

in your confusion, you said PDP is a party of killers and criminals but you then went on to defend an indicted PDP politician who has overwhelming evidence against him. See your life. You are speaking from both sides of your mouth and some words are beginning to fall out your ears too.
LOL. You are just discovering the MO of a tribalist? You should know logic is not their forte.

eGuerrilla: You are about as m.oronic as they come.
I suppose Otedola and GEJ are now members of the same ethnic group, tos#ser.
See person dey call him papa mor0n. Where in my post did I say anything about the ethnicity of Otedola & GEJ? The tribalist f00ls I referenced know what I'm talking about. If you are one of them then feel the ether burn in your bone marrows.
Politics › Re: $3M Bribery: Otedola Submits Evidence To Police by logica(m): 2:19pm On Jun 13, 2012
eGuerrilla: This is totally uncalled for.
As far as I can tell, you are the second person in the addition to Musiwa who has brought tribal sentiments into this debate.

You ought to be ashamed of yourself.
Fvck u. The tribalists I gave a side swipe know themselves and I am glad they got well hit.
Politics › Re: $3M Bribery: Otedola Submits Evidence To Police by logica(m): 12:56pm On Jun 13, 2012
Donxavier: . @Demdem I think it's better you just keep quiet if you don't want to take sides. Nothing wrong with that. But this your logic of defending Farouk and believing him despite the avalanche of evidences against him and the fact that so far Otedola has been the one to give incontrovertible proofs is Irritating. If you don't believe Otedola fine but your logic for defending farouk is flawed.
LOL. Some people (mostly Igbo) are simply against Otedola for being Yoruba. Their hatred clouds any sense they have (assuming they have any brain matter left that is). These kind of mor0ns are the reason why the Igbos lost the Biafran War.
Politics › Re: Implement Senate’s Resolution Immortalising Abiola – Tinubu ! by logica(m): 11:12am On Jun 13, 2012
Pukkah: What's that fact please?

You have not been able to prove that Tinubu has no right to play politics with MKO's name.

You have not been able to prove that Tinubu did not fight for June 12 although you wrote that he has no say on Abiola's issue and he should shut up.

You have not been able to show that Tinubu was against the renaming of Unilag, the link which you tried to pass off as your evidence revealed something different. He simply asked for more structures to be named after MKO. You have not been able to show that he lacks the locus standi to make this request.

So, what's that fact that you're stating?
Any response to this yet?

Travel › Re: Eye-Witness Account Of DANA Plane Crash: Like A Movie by logica(m): 6:35am On Jun 06, 2012
bandiejay: 2min after that they all notice a fluid started dropping like rain and they sensed that the pilot discharged the fuel because he knew it was going to crash and that could blow up a whole community and after the fluid stopped they felt the vibration on the ground and that was the end.
Again, this is a pointer to hydraulic problem. The pilot has no control to discharge fuel from the plane. The fluid was more likely to be leaking hydraulic fluid. Once the fluid started leaking, the pilot lost control of the airplane.

In better climes, all those involved one way or the other in the crash and those who witnessed it will be going through psychological post-trauma therapy.

LMAO. While it is quite possible for a man to be accused of impregnating a woman he never slept with, the chances are pretty low.
