No wonder the country is in this sorry state. Most people here are on the MAN's (not a boy) side.

I believe the University was simply trying to avoid what eventually still happened; most likely they had been having leaks when their internal printing press was used. They must have thought using an anonymous printer would help.
I'd rather relocate to hell than share a new nation with yorubas.
But you will still want to trade in Yoruba land eh? Your brothers are still crying over being mass-slaughtered up North (which this thread is about). How about you all relocate to the East?

igbo2011: It is crazy how we were doing many things during Biafra but we cannot do anything now.
Maybe that's a pointer to the difference between myth and reality. Just think about it for 5 minutes. If you still don't get it, think about it for the whole day.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Parents Charged In UAE After Hidden Baby Found In Carry-on by logica(m): 9:08pm On Jul 11, 2012
Danka7777: This could be frustrating for any parents. This is an infant we talking about here not a toddler? Why does an infant need a visa? For what? I know some people would try to argue this with me, but look up the difference between "toddler" and "infant". Besides, I assume the parents have visas, didn't the consulate that issued them visas include the child in their visa(s) or did the parents fail to include the child?
For long infants didn't require passports or even visas but things were changed thanks to human traffickers. Back when all you had to do to to travel with a child (who might have been kidnapped) was present your own passport ensured the child had no documentation and was below the radar.

Fayimora: Sorry before I put forth my opinionated views, I just want to make a quick inquiry. Are you guys actually talking about Notepad, that useless application on windows or a Text Editor!
LMAO
Programming › Re: Are You A Real Programmer? Can You Code With Notepad? by logica(m): 6:47pm On Jul 07, 2012
Beaf: You can get away with CSS and HTML in notepad in a big firm.
Even with those, are you going to use Notepad to compress/pack your CSS and HTML? Oh OK, you will write your own tool for the packing process.

Celebrities › Re: RMD Warns Linda Ikeji Over N250M Home Story by logica(m): 1:22am On Jul 07, 2012
Siga: So u believe naija politicians collect mortgage for a N250m house...
Do you mind checking the figure I used? I used 50 million, not 250 million. The initial post I quoted said something like "even if it was 50 million". 50 million is a far cry from 250 million; and I just demonstrated that a person earning 500k monthly, and who has 5m to deposit can comfortably get a mortgage on a house worth 50m. 250m though will be impossible on that same salary.
Celebrities › Re: RMD Warns Linda Ikeji Over N250M Home Story by logica(m): 1:03am On Jul 07, 2012
nyrol: Na him salary e take build the house? Even if na 50m! Abeg make we hear word jor.
Not to hold brief for RMD, but with a steady salary of say 500,000.00 per month, and a deposit of 5 million, you can have a house through some of these mortgage houses including GTBank.

Calculation:

Actual cost is 50 million but at 20% rate over 30 years that is 50 million + 10 million = 60 million.

Deposit 5 million; 55 million is left.

So you spread 55 million over 30 years, paying each month. That is 55 million / (30 * 12) = 152,777.78 Naira Monthly

So every month you have 347,222.22 left to flenjo.

freecocoa: What is he gingring for btw?

She said the house "is said to be 250m" not that she's sure it is.

If its not he should simply say so instead of the nonsense warning, like worse things haven't been said about him on tabloids when he was an actor, rubbish. undecided
LOL. That's just trying to be smart in spreading rumors. I might as well say "Linda Ikeji is SAID to have been a call girl". I'm sure all she'd do is kindly mail me and explain that she wasn't really a call girl, right?

Seun: He did not deny the story outrightly, you know. He's merely implying that the house may not be worth exactly N250m.
Right. Now if I got a house for 15 mil, and someone goes around saying I got it for 250 mil, and I am a government official, there is a tacit implication.

Why should he contact her? I think he shouldn't have deigned her with a response. But on the other hand, staying silent might give the impression the story is true.

Where people choose to post advert is their own choice. Last I checked, this is a Nigerian forum.
What makes you think her friends and family are not aware of what she's looking for in a man?

You know you have no further point continuing down your chosen line of conversation, so it would be in your best interest to drop it lest you affirm my earlier statement earlier that you've never left a village.
Mu^2. How's that for a final point?
