Yesterday evening, I was speaking to my friend about the implication of the Tinubu's "victory" on the chances of the APC in 2023 presidential election.
Let me start by saying that whoever becomes Nigeria's president in 2023, we'll definitely have an upgrade from what we've had from 2015. At least all the presidential candidates are educated and successful businessmen (don't ask me the kind of business Tinubu has please).
Now to the main issue.
Over time, the North has been known for its cunning political tendencies.
An average hausa/Fulani man would prefer power to remain in the North than voting for a southerner, especially a Tinubu who would be very difficult to manipulate.
The build up to the APC primaries revealed a lot about the intentions of the "kingmakers" in the APC. Clearly, they were not disposed to a Tinubu candidacy. Tinubu knew that very well hence his outbursts and shadings, of which even Buhari was not spared. I'm still not convinced that Buhari would forgive him anytime soon.
Now to the most difficult task - picking a running mate.
Tinubu's running mate should come from the North if APC hopes to have a good outing at the polls.
Will the northern power brokers, 99.9% of whom are Muslims, hand the VP slot to a Christian?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Even if they ponder that possibility, which northern Christian politician in the APC has enough political momentum to contest votes with Atiku?
Well...
Former speaker of the HOR, Yakubu Dogara comes to mind, maybe.
He is from Bauchi (same geopolitical zone as AA), has consistently won elections in his federal constituency under the PDP even when the the ANPP won the gubernatorial election in 2007 & 2011; and the APC won in 2015.
He is arguably qualified to run with Tinubu in 2023.
Unfortunately, he has been conspicuously not visible of late.
It remains to be seen who will emerge as Tinubu's running mate.
Time shall tell.

He wants the presidency to go to the South West and return to the North thereafter.
Since a muslim-muslim ticket will be difficult to fly and Buhari and his cabal will never opt for a northern Christian as a vice presidential candidate, Tinubu's chances are almost non-existent.
Also, Osinbajo's choice will set up a religious bias in the Southwest should Tinubu decide to contest another under another party.
Buhari is also sympathetic to the course of the North East as far as the presidency is concerned.
The plan is for Osinbajo to handover to Lawan, a North Eastener.
Buhari believes that this promise is juicy enough to drive voters from the northeast towards APC, again and against Atiku Abubakar.

As much as possible, visit standard hospitals for serious medical cases, especially those that may require surgery.
There are a lot of quacks out there parading themselves as doctors.
Some of them just begin to toy with people's lives once they serve as theater nurses/assistants for some times.
They believe they have enough experience to carry out surgery.
Some of them perform "successful" surgeries until a complication requiring professional expertise arises.
That is when their "quackness" will be exposed but unfortunately, it usually costs a life.
