In that case the guy should have been locked up in a mental institution, under heavy security supervision, long ago as its very clear that he is a psychotic killer.
I remember reading about a born killer in the US who had to be locked in a suspended, from the ceiling, metal case because he attacks whoever comes close to him.

Maybe its part of the PR packaging being done by the label on the lady.
I hope when she finally sings, we shall all shout: 'A new Star is born !!!' else it will be an anti-climax for the label and the lady herself will slide completely into musical oblivion.

grin grin[quote author=prodiG post=46162316]Dis dude epitomises all that is wrong with dis country. Continue undecided[/qull]

LWKMD. What will be taught at the Institute?
Political Scamming? Vote Rigging? How to use Thuggery to win election? or how to hoodwink the people who voted you into office never to ask you to keep your electoral promises?
The above issues are what our politicians are very good at.
As I said in another thread, its painful that while our legislators are busy sponsoring very irrelevant bills (remember the Social Media Bill) that have no positive effect on the lives of their constituents, the legislators in the advanced world are discussing issues like the role of technology in medicine and defence, biotechnology, GMF ( Genetically modified Food), Space research and exploration etc they know will eventually benefit their people.
There in a legal term 'Nimo dat quod nimo habet' (I hope am right, took that course some time ago) which means you can not give what you dont have. If our legislators know they do not know much.about governance, face-to-face interraction with their constituents will open their eyes and minds to issues they need urgently to table to the house; also reading political biographies and other books will broaden their minds to really grasp issues very well. I am sure most of our politicians do not have time to read books and this is easily reflected in their shallow mind-sets and opinions.

Maybe they shoot to impress their superiors that they have actually violently quelled the riot.
I miss the days of DPO Alozie Ogbuguaja who normally engages protesters in intellectual debates and ultimately diffuse tension among the protesters.

You people are hypocrites, where was freedom of movement, immunity, checks and balance when president Jonathan was restricting governors from entering Ekiti state on the eve of fayose's election, where was fundamental human rights when governors aircrafts were refused landing rights to land in Nigerian airports. Fayose PDP and their supporters were enjoying the show then and screaming GEJ till 2019. Now what goes around comes around and they are forming emergency human rights activists.
Impunity whether under GEJ or under PMB is impunity and all right thinking persons must oppose it through legal and other non-violent means.
Its Fayose being restricted today; if everyone keeps quiet, it could be you tommorrow (circumstances can change overnight, ask Diya the number 2 man under Abacha) or it could progress to unlawful detentions of the opposition.
Politics › Re: You Can’t Stop Me From Travelling Abroad - Fayose Dares Buhari by lozanni(m): 8:55pm On May 30, 2016
Checks and balances are needed in a democracy.
Fayose should head to court, that way we can get the judicial pronoucement on the threat to impose a travel ban on a sitting Governor in a democracy; it will also help to deepen our democracy and further help to protect the rights of all citizens.
However, Fayose should pay Ekiti state workers their salaries; you cannot see the log of wood in your opponent's eye and ignore the beam of wood in yours.

Family › Re: Help! I Don't Know My Father. I Will Be 29 In Few Months by lozanni(m):
officialmcfresh1:
In few months i'll be 29years but am yet to know who my biological father is. I'm a 400level student of university of port harcourt from omoku in rivers state atleast so I was told by my grand parents.

I was told my mum was dating my dad and she got pregnant then they both decided to abort the baby, they went to a native doctor who helped them with native drugs she took severely but the pregnancy could not be aborted. My mum almost died in this process, it was then her dad heard about it and took her to the hospital where she was taken care of.

Well. The baby was born (me). My grand dad called the family of my dad to come claim their child and take up their responsibility. Unfortunately the night to the day they were supposed to come see my grand day, my dad left to lagos and has never returned to this day.

My mum got married and has 4kids now and her family is doing very well. She left me with my grand parent who raised me. I didn't even know she was my mum till I was grown.

She never care about me from day one. I went through hell to go through primary and secondary school cause her dad is very old and wasn't working.

I did a lot of things just to survive cause somehow God was just blessing the works of my hands until I decided to go to the university. My mum and her family is well to do in every essence and we live in the same town almost the same street but not in the same house cause I still live at my grand parents house whenever I return from school.

Now my pain is. How do I find out who my dad is. All my mum knows about him is that his name is Mr Oputa Onita from Omoku community in rivers state. When I confronted her about it she told me he has an elder brother by name Mr Ikechukwu Onita and this man was fully aware of what happened but they don't reside her in omoku town and I can't even reach them.

Am living like a stronger in my town cause almost everyone knows about this story so much that I don't feel comfortable even with my younger ones anytime I go visiting.

I don't know how to go about this but I feel it's time I need to fine out who my real father is because I believe I have the right to know. I have never seen him before, not even a picture of what he looks like.

My mum doesn't care about this and she doesn't even care if I exist of not. Someone who can comfortably stay months without calling or hearing from me. Anytime she sees me it's like I make her angry cause she never smiles whenever she see me. Just that sometimes she pretends to smile but we both know we don't have that mother and son connection or relationship which I've in so many ways to bridge the gap but still to no positive output.

All this affects me emotionally but I jut pretend to be okey. This sometimes make me jealous of my younger ones even if I don't desire to be. My immediate younger brother who am older then with about 4years is done with school and is living in a two bedroom apartment, has a car which his dad bought for him while am still struggling to finish school and staying with my grand parent in my one room apartment. No matter how much I try not to feel it sometimes it just gets to me and make me feel bad. But I suck it up cus I can't complain.

Truth is I am not looking for my dad because of any financial benefits. Am almost done with school and the time I would've really needed him is past. I just want to know who my father is and at least call someone the name dad and stop me from having this emotional trauma.

Now she's been trying under pressure to see me through the university after I managed to get admission.

Please good people of Nairaland. I am confused and I need help on how to go about this, I just need to know who my dad is. He's still alive and living with his family in lagos but I don't even no where in lagos and no one would give me any concrete info about him.

Please anyone with any vital information on how I can reach him or how to go about this should pls contact me through this number 08032782297.

I have read threads on how people where able to find help in similar case like this here on nairaland and I believe I would do the same. This is the only reason am doing this.

Please mod help push this to front page so it can get to the right persons please.

Thank you very much and God bless you all.
@Op, I just checked Facebook and saw a certain 'Elizabeth Dike Onita' from Omoku. Search out that name on your Facebook homepage, befriend the lady and tell her you are from Omoku too.
Please dont start by telling her you.are looking for your father as she may become very cautious with you if you do that right away.
Be smart in asking her questions about your father and his family; who knows she might know your Dad personally. Eventually you can reveal your mission to her, goodluck.

Update: Search for 'Patricia Ike Onita' too.
Family › Re: Help! I Don't Know My Father. I Will Be 29 In Few Months by lozanni(m): 3:09am On May 28, 2016
My guy, you are a child of destiny. The fact that your mom and Dad tried all they could to get rid of you, but could not, while you were in the womb should have told both of them something great lies ahead of you.
I know of a certain family with about 7 kids, when the 7th child was in the womb, the man and the wife did all they could to get rid of the child, because they had lean financial resources that could not cater for a 7th child, but they could not. Today, that 7th child is the pillar of the family as he works in a big oil and gas firm and has been able to set up his other siblings financially and his parents are very glad that his destiny was not terminated from the womb.
If you go searching for your Dad and meet rejection, do not be dismayed, but hold onto God for he will help you discover your destiny and God ordained path of life; you might eventually become the chief cornerstone of the family, which was initially rejected by the builders.

My brother the desolation and hopelessness she must have felt was as a result of the fear that had been put in her, and in us all, that without Education, you are nothing.
Now that am matured, I try not to put undue pressure on younger ones about Education through advising that that its necessary, but that there are other ways to achieve greatness.
Politics › Re: Fuel Scarcity Looms As Marketers ‘doublecross’ FG After Price Hike by lozanni(m): 2:27pm On May 26, 2016
The Oil importers agreed to a Pump price increase of N86.05 to N145 for Petrol (PMS) with the Federal Govt. on the condition that that they source the forex for imports from independent sources, but have now turned around to say they need forex from the CBN.
Its either the marketers are trying to be clever through getting cheap forex from CBN and still selling at the new price of N145 per liter of fuel, thereby making a super-abnormal profit or they have not been, genuinely, able to source for forex from independent sources, to fund the level of import of petroleum products required of them (which was my fear at the beginning).
I hope this thorny issue is resolved very soon to avoid unimaginable fuel queues and the attendant hardship for Nigerians.

Never lose hope, your brother might be alive somewhere.
A youngman from my hometown went to serve up north for his NYSC program and vanished for over a decade and half.
He was found alive and well when he followed some Redeemed Christian Church of God members to travel from the North down to Lagos for a Special program early this year.
It was answered prayers from his family because a friend of the family attended the church program and saw the long lost man and after looking at him for so long, approached him and asked him if he was the missing son of the family.
The lost but found man answered that he was the one and the family member held tight to him and started calling his other family members to come as their long lost brother had been found.
The whole family swooped down to the church and found that it was truly their long lost brother; you need to imagine their joy as a thanksgiving service was later held to mark the return of their brother.
From the questions the lost man was asked, he revealed that he met a lady up north who so much loved him and wanted him to marry her, but he was not keen on getting married to her because of cultural differences. The lost man revealed that after eating the lady who wanted him to marry her food, he lost consciousness of who he was and was just moving from city to city in the North.
Many people infered that the love struck lady might have administered a love portion to the lost man, but it did not work the way it was supposed to work and instead turned the lost but found guy to a wanderer.
