N3TRAL: You have to be extremely stupid to think that seasoned British diplomats, economists, technocrats, parliamentarians and politicians with gray hairs took a major diplomatic and political decision to initiate an important national policy because of the interview granted by a young YouTuber from a third world country- Nigeria.
You're even dumber when you genuinely believe that the UK (with spies and secret agents in difficult places like Aso Rock) had no idea of the loopholes in its visa and migration policies.
For every UK visa loophole Nigerians have taken advantage of, Indians and Chinese have taken advantage of 100. Lol Na u no wise That documentary pushed a narrative to the BREXIT folks who voted to leave the EU Smh |

Odogwuzack: Like North East, like South East. Southern Nigeria really dodged a bullet.
Somebody said the insecurity rate increased in the East because Obi lost election and I laughed. IPOB/UGM would have been more emboldened to overrun Nigeria especially the South if Obi had won. Just like the Fulani herdsmen under Buhari.
Lack of political powers is hiding how much savage and domineering the Easterners can be. I lived among them for years. Just give me one instance of any SE person or people dominating you Just one o 🤡 |

Eriokanmi: You tried GEJ. But you were too soft. A Nigerian president must not have a human face. He must be willing to step on toes and damn the consequences. You knew boko haram sponsors but looked the other way. You'd have been a hero today, had you dealt with them without thinking of the consequences, including possible loss of your life. I don't think you understand how democracy works or you just like the idea of a strong man ruling you Democracy is the government of the people not one that confers unnecessary power into one man's hand Institutions and checks are there to help the executive, legislature and judiciary so the idea that GEJ was a soft leader is quite frankly laughable |
Business › Re: KPMG: Nigeria May Spend Over 100% Of Its Revenue On Debt Servicing In 2023 by LZAA: 12:22am On May 20, 2023 |
onegig: 1) 3 Trillion yearly on subsidy x 8 = N24 Trillion naira in 8 years 2) Debt relief for states and Cash payments to help settle salaries during Covid19 - Prolly N6Trillion 3) Debt servicing from previous governments that's dollar domiciled but now doubled due to exchange rate moving from N180 to N420 . 4) Standard railway completed for Lagos-Ibadan, Abuja-Kaduna, Warri-Itakpe (China's Nexim Bank) 5) Sukuk Bonds for the reconstruction of roads. 6) Equipping the army, navy, air force to counter the Boko Haram insurgency. We all hear of the different Airframes, helicopter, tanks, Gun boat purchases . Also prosecuting an Insurgency that has lasted more than a decade costs money.
That gives you a summary of where these funds went to. Yeah there is corruption but the bulk of such debts are centered around recurrent things that we should do without. First is cutting off Subsidies and next is restructuring the public service to run a more lean and efficient government else we would just continue multiplying the debt burden without implementing any impactful capital projects. Please and please stop saying this nonsense This government is by far the worst we have seen You are exactly the type of person one guy just mentioned People supporting this regime for no reason at all Smh |

Godfullsam: All these prisoners, what are they doing on a daily basis?
Will they wake up, sit down and be waiting for food without doing anything meaningful?
I am just curious.
I think they should be made to farm and do some other menial jobs. There lots of land in the states, prisoners should be allowed to farm and the proceed be used to feed them.
Some of them may develop interest in farming when they are out of prison instead of going back to crime Ever heard of the word "hard labour"? Well prisoners here do hard labour if added to their sentence If we were serious about manufacturing here your prisoners will be working in prison factories too It happens in the USA |
