Will they wake up, sit down and be waiting for food without doing anything meaningful?

I am just curious.

I think they should be made to farm and do some other menial jobs. There lots of land in the states, prisoners should be allowed to farm and the proceed be used to feed them.

Some of them may develop interest in farming when they are out of prison instead of going back to crime

I see people commenting here out of sheer ignorance. Op, if you story is true, you have every right to go ahead and arrest the lady for breach of (employment) contract provide:

1. Did the company gave her employment letter when she was employed?

2. If yes, what does the letter (and by extension) the staff handbook say about staff resignation process?

3. If you see that the secretary did not follow the resignation process as stated in (2) above then you can sue her for breach of contract.

4. If you're able to achieve the (3) above, then you can demand for those records/ information that you're seeking for from her as part of condition for accepting her resignation legitly.

Everything stated in staff employment letter is not there for reading sake it's law binding. That is why it is called employment contract. But, where there is no employment letter, please the lady in question is gone for good! S'ope Otilo

We took the loans because we rely only on oil....and not on other sources of income, expecially TAXES.

Our tax to gdp ratio is one of the lowest in Africa. Then divcersification is not moving fast enough...leaving us with oil, whose prices never favour us.

Even during GEJ's time, oil prices were not as high as we needed them, which is why we took loans then

Either we pay more in tax, or we just watch the debt grow. Oil is not going to rise again.
