2prexios: @macof, it is impossible to use Christianity to validate Judaism for instance, likewise, you can't use Santeria's dinlogun [/i]or Erindinlogun to validate Ifa Oracular dicta. My reason for mentioning santeria is because it's known that Olofin is the husband of Olokun but the santeros confuse Olofin with Olorun. My post made this clear enough. Ekundayo7 is not my handle |
Fulaman198: Yah that's correct there are very light and dark Shuwa Arabs in Nigeria. Just like there are very light and dark Tuaregs. These Tuaregs... It could be them I see around lokoja in kogi and obalende in Lagos. What made them leave their homeland? And how different are they from Berbers? |
MrAnony1: Go and read up on the fallacy of arguing from silence i.e. basing your argument upon what has not been said.Maybe you need to unfollow the thread or just edit ur silly posts. |
Ekiti, the land of hills Ekiti from Ile-Okiti "home of hills" is a rugged and upland rocky area with most of it's rocks overlayed on each other. Language The Ekiti language is a unique Yoruboid language, grouped as Central Yoruba along with Igbomina, Okun, Ijesa, Ife and Ijebu The Ekiti language however has it's own variant dialects as Moba speaks a dialect similar to Igbomina, Omuo speak that similar to Ijumu Okun, while Efon is similar to Ijesa. Despite this the Ekiti people understand each other very well Oriki of Ekiti Towns AAYE EKITI: Omo eleku lele lele ona Aaye,Eku Senu Omode Aaye o mu kete ö ra gburin. Justicemy: Ekiti the hausa version of yoruba land, tribal marks evrywer, always susceptible to war and aggression, pls let nobody ever compare ekiti with ondo state oo, we re 2 diff peopleWtf! Ekiti tribal marks are so small on the cheeks it even makes the ladies look cute |
dytbabe: Everyone condemns cheating, its no particular tribe, bt una no dey ever gree kan kanYou know we no dey gree so it's good as you gree first ![]() |
lepasharon: I am from Itapa .I never knew you are Ekiti ![]() |
MabraO: I no dey vex oh. Just speaking my mindBlame it on the criminals running the government. Ekiti has everything to build on, our Obas/Owas also share much of the blame ![]() |
rodeo0070: I am a proud son of the soil. BTW, what is Ekiti without pounded Yam?True! Iyan ni oba onje |
dytbabe: When I hear ekiti/ondo, I pick racelove break ke? Ah! |
dytbabe: I forgot to add u ppl are so insultive it's true, but we are also very respectful. You don't tell us how to treat an elder Ekiti people hate provocative |

LogoDWhiz: Hin okun o ekiti kete.My apologies |
OnyeEgo1: i weep for youDon't weep for me, weep for yourself, you need it more. |
jantavanta: Fire, Thunder, Lightning with Sango? Please can we specifically attribute Fire to Aganju, rather than to Sango? I thought Sango was limited to Thunder & Lightning. You see lightning is Mona-mona/mana-mana,in Yoruba..relating to sparks of light or fire. Sango's parents Aganju and Obatala represent the chaotic heat(best example being fire) and the calm light respectively. Also tress struck by lightning catch fire But today I think Aganju cults have been absorbed into sango's. So priests are usually devoted and initiated to both That's why fire is present in sango's shrines |
femmefatale: Exactly, but he doesn't wanna let go yet he's nt ready 2 commit. He begs each time I say no more.madam pls be smart with your relationship and future. You both need to have understood eachother from the beginning. To me, a relationship is already a commitment only that it is meant to evolve into something bigger, when you've spent enough time (not too much time) together you should know if you continue or you end it.. |
Proverbalizer: It is difficult to find a lot of information about Aganju. I am also interested in learning more.Yh when it comes to movies and all this media thing one must be careful as they mislead alot Knowledge of Aganju just seems to be hidden |
OnyeEgo1: ah! Hmmmm.... U dare call Jesus a dead man... Are u saved?Yh am saved, I was saved the day I realized Jesus is just a dead man |
OnyeEgo1: so, are u saved? Do u believe in the gospel of our lord Jesus how that he died for u?Funny how Africans ask this question as the Jews just watch and laugh at their gullibility I think this thread is for you |
OnyeEgo1: i am!So WTF is so important about a dead Jew?? Wat makes u think a dead man is more "son of God" than you?? |
Collynzo16: Oduduwa was actually kicked out from heaven because of his treacherous ways.Maybe Oduduwa was trying to capture Eri the devil aka ancestor of the igbos |
shdemidemi: reading in context, do you actually think Jesus was telling the people to raise jihad against their relatives?Reading simple words. And look at nations today, how christianity has riped families apart |
mrceo63: u vnt answered my question... it al around u bt u denial it...And wat is ur question? |
EMILO2STAY: are u mad!, i should be asking u that . And yes evolutionist believe a big bang occured out of no where and formed the galaxy , was any evolutionist there when it occured? U guys propose a theory and believe in it with no proof is'nt that faith?, I have ask u to show me one primate that has evolved into human but u have not... Give an evidence of a simple life form that has evolved into a complex one. show me proof of amoeba that has evolved into a rat or a goat; if u cant pls shut up and go to sleep.you know what forget this...I have tried with you. Go read a book |
donroxy: My problem with you as always been your limited brain and shortsightedness and that is why I always recommend mental boost for you ....... Though I'm not surprised, because you will always have myopic understanding of what you don't have interest ! all so hilarious I can't even begin to respond to all these nonsense. Just know I was once like u, there's nothing you can say about christianity that I don't already know Christianity is a religion! |
shejane: D sleeve |
OnyeEgo1: yea a cult that demonstrates Gods perfect love for u tru his son Jesus christAren't u a son of God? |
Amhappy: Its a way of life. RuudNisterooy: Forget all these epistles! Christianity is simply a way of life.Culture is a way of life. Is christianity a culture? aren't you forced to live by the Bible rules?? a way of life is supposed to be inherit in you. your default behaviour |
donroxy: Christainity is simply a way of life , it is a simple module of behaviour of Jesus Christ and whomsoever emulate such behaviour of Jesus is a CHRISTIAN (which anybody in whatever religion can do as far as it is in a bid to worship, praise and fulfil the wishes of ONE GOD-Elohim, Allah,Yahweh,Chukwu,Eledumare,Ubangiji etc) !!!Nawa o. You just calling christianity by whatever term you feel comfortable without knowing the meaning of the words u say. does christianity not worship an unknown deity? Does christianity not have dogmas? Does it not have a holy book of rules that you must not break or suffer the consequences? Consequences that we cannot be sure exist Does christianity not work on blind faith? Christianity is nothing more than a religion |
PastorKun: The difference between past violence in Christianity and violence as a part of the Islamic religion till date is that in Christianity violence can never be justified by the teachings or way of life of the founder of christianity(Jesus) where as in Islam the founder(mohammed) not only gave lots of violent instructions, he was a man of war and he personally led several battles. This is the example his followers are following today.Words of Jesus ..."do not think I came for peace, I came to bring violence, and cause a father against son, mother against daughter, families against each other" |
PastorKun: Christianity is not based on the whole bible but on the teachings of Christ and the apostles which are found mainly in the new testament. There are clear instructions in the new testament that the old laws have been done away with. Even the ten commandments was 'reduced' or summarised to two laws which is to Love God and to Love our fellow man.Answer this simple question. Do you preach the words from the old testament in your church? |
