Thank you for your response. However i finished my first degree 2015. I suppose u asked to be sure if to be considered for the kind of program they want to be sure you have good working experience. To answer that, yes they consider good working experience before you are admitted and i have however worked all through my period of University and also after. Moreover it all has to do with your SOP. How good can you write a convincing SOP. I hope that satisfies your curiosity.

Hello guys, my travel visa has just been approved this 20/07/2019 for my Master's program in Engineering Management at University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) and i am to begin my program this September 2017 and i can't find accommodation yet. Is there anyone around Oshawa who can help me with accommodation for just a few days or weeks just for me to sort accommodation. I promise my stay will be very short. I have taken my time to read through it and it has indeed been very helpful. I applied for a pdg in information technology and network security at conestoga college. I have a bsc in computer science and i graduated in 2015. I currently work with the IT dept in my office. i was refused based on purpose of visit and travel history. After going through nairaland i realized that my supporting docs was really weak. I got the job immediately after my service. As of the time i applied i had only worked there for 3 months. list of docs i submitted are;

leave letter from my office
payslips
acceptance letter
virgin passport
proof of payment of tuition and accomodation

my mom was my sponsor
SOA with over 3mill
employment letter
proof of property worth over 10 mill
letter of sponsorship
I.D card
tax clearance
I intend on re applying in august for the January 2018 intake. please what do guys think i can do differently ? i plan on including an SOP, employment letter from my office. I will appreciate your input and analysis on my my situation. God bless!

It pains me when celebrities are paid huge amount of money just to represent a brand. Nigeria is failing not because we don't have the capable people in the country but because we don't set our priorities straight.

Imagine all this "brand ambassador" thing, to me i believe its a waste of resources. We celebrate entertainment too much in the country than we celebrate the ones who have been distinct in their academic fields. No wonder the best graduating student in a faculty or institution can be given 50,000 and a winner of big brother be given 25million naira.

No wonder our young ones no longer see reason to go to school or excel in academic studies and they just want to go into entertainment. I wonder if we all go into entertainment since thats where the money is then who will be the minister of science, who will handle other academic fields needed for the growth of the nation since money is very important.
