I think you should hold off on having another kid till your relationship is better, as you've said its not easy been a married single mother to one child talk less of 2. Concerning the pain during sex i suspect its because your husband is not spending enough time on pre-intimacy e.g oral which helps to get you moist . If its dry there will naturally be pain, you need to have an upfront conversation with him. Tell him exactly what you need and that right now you don't have orgasms so sex is not fulfilling enough for you. Explain that him not spending enough time on fore play is causing you pain and you need things to change. Yes , my husband had 2 grown kids when i met him. At first i was skeptical but later on i didn't mind when i got to know him and the situation. He isnt that much older than me , just had kids early. He and his ex are very cordial, she didn't want marriage so she has no resentment. Also because the kids are grown its been easy, they have their lives and are away in University. It would probably have been harder with older kids.

Only thing is i made sure my family knew him and liked him before i told them about his kids so they were not biased. They are many sacrifices involved,emotional, financial e.tc because the kids must come first and i wouldn't want it any other way, it tells me he's a good Dad.

The girl hardly ever gets to see her father and obviously she just misses him and wants to spend as much time as possible with him. You can't compare that with a child that lives with her father regularly. You yourself in the child's place, do you know what it means to see your Dad so infrequently and then you have to sleep in a strange house in a strange bedroom. All those reading sinister thoughts into this child's innocent act are sick. Simply take her back to her room when she comes and then you or the Dad should stay with her till she falls asleep.
