1) Victims As Bait: Instead of flogging the youths and inflicting injuries on them for using the highly dangerous drugs, Igbo communities should use them as bait to catch the dealers who are selling the drugs and making the youths abuse them.

When a victim is caught by the security details attached to fight against the use of the drug, they should interrogate them first and try to find out where they get the drugs from. If they can get the information, they should use the victim as bait to lure out the sellers and catch them as well.
This way, they can get to the root of where the drugs are coming out from and end it from the root. If there is no seller, there will be nobody to buy and abuse it.
2. Awareness: The Igbo communities should work towards creating awareness for the youths over the dangers of using the drug, meth.

If they can make them know the dangers, it will help the youths and the growing children avoid taking the path of destructions.
3. Punishment: Flogging and inflicting pains on the victims and going ahead to set them free immediately will not make others stop abusing the drugs, after all, if you are caught, you will be released after getting flogged.
The Igbo communities should find a punishment that will be scary for abusers, a long-term punishment that will subject them to community service or isolation will be a great way to stop the youths from abusing these dangerous drugs.

4. Rehabilitation: The Igbo communities should work towards establishing a rehabilitation center and program which will help the ones that are caught and willing to change achieve their goals.
A rehabilitation center is one of the most trusted ways that has been used in many countries like the USA to reduce the abuse of methamphetamine Hydrochloride.
