Are you more of a hustler than the Fulani who walks from Sokoto to PH with his cows facing hostile humans and beasts on the way? Leave that self indulgent Ibo tale for your village entertainment. Everyone hustles in the way that they have aptitude for. The fact of the matter is the greatest economic activity in Nigeria today more than oil or anything else is agriculture. That is an indisputable fact. Now what do Ibos contribute to agriculture in Nigeria? Instead you continue making empty boasts about how Onitsha market is the largest in the Milky Wayand the US Army buys drones there.
Once again Agriculture accounts for more than 70% of Nigerian economy .What is the Ibo contribution? Per the bolded, if the people are so deluded one wonders where is the source of fear that grips most Nigerians on the slightest hint that Biafrans want to leave Nigeria. Most Nigerians are deadly dishonest and it makes one of the reasons Nigeria is perpetually backward. Have you be kicked out of sanitarium hence vomiting this crap on NL? As much as I like to shy away from a needless "Biafra" discussion, I need to submit that part of the dellusion of you lot is the thinking that ".fear grips most Nigerians on the slightest hint that Biafrans wants to leave Nigeria". Lagos because an analysis of the igr of Lagos shows that Lagos derived it's revenue from the income tax and the income tax bulk is from the oil workers whose offices are in Lagos. The below article comes to mind... http://www.africanholocaust.net/news_ah/africanleadership.htmltherein lies some truth..... CELEBRITIES FOR ICONS - IDIOTS FOR ICONS
Celebrities for Icons, A race represented by singers and dancers
Celebrity culture is a tool of oppression. a weapon of controlling and distracting a dumbed down generation. So you are black and you are famous so I should like you? You win an Oscar and got a prize for your book and I should like you? You got out of prison and run the country into the ground and I should call you hero? You sing sweet and snort coke all night and I should cry for you? These empty-headed capitalist celebrities. Why do you think they are so famous? For being Pan-African? For being moral and role models? Did you give Alicia, Beyonce and Rihanna a record contract, do you distribute their material? Do you own the radio stations that play them? The MTV base that pumps their noise into our children's ears? So how are they our celebrities just because they share the same skin hue as us?
These black celebrities are tools of the system that pays them. They are White Supremacy safe, that is why they tolerate these types. It is safe to have Alicia Keys as a role model for the African youth. It is safe to have Rihanna as a cultural ambassador for Barbados, to inspire women to behave like her. What will she instruct them with? What are her values? She speaks when they tell her to on issues they tell her to. And this is very true for the Gay rights campaign: Jay-Z, Corey Booker, Tyra Banks, Russell Simmons, Kerry Washington, Alicia Keys, Will Smith, John Legend, Vanessa Williams, the list is pretty long, and careers are at risk for dissent againt the pro-gay camp. Black Hollywood is not known for being bold on any political issue, so it is strange they are so "outspoken" on this one. Alicia Keys performs for the apartheid state of Israel [8] but is vocal for gay rights. Clearly these trivial celebrities are instructed on what their thoughts should be and when to give them.
Some believe they are “successful”, Oh did you know P-Diddy has a champagne business? Did they know P-Diddy does not own one share in that company he is employed as a brand ambassador—and nothing else? For every penny the like of Rihanna and Jay-Z make in their so-called “business”, the real power brokers are just riding their names (perfume, clothing lines, etc) for high returns. These circus performers are the distractions to give the sheeple the sense of false pride in a people with low morals and low intellectual capacity. Sure they are rich, as Chris Rock said, but they are not wealthy.
Between extravagant immoral lifestyles, they are a celebration of everything odious in the world of capitalism. Some may point to their charities, but the rule of 9/10 applies here as well: doing 9 things wrong and 1 thing right does not make you honorable. Worse far more White celebrities, like Anglia Jolie seem more interested in social causes than these black icons created as another tool of distraction and destruction. Some say "they are entertainers not icons," That type of argument is an idealistic world-view which disregards reality, because regardless of what they 'are" they are in lieu of real role models, the role models African youth are engineered to embrace. |

kazuna: Really, are you sure the neck was really twisted or the boy was paid to look that. way? A miracle is an event which upon all rational observations goes beyond the laws of physics, chemistry and biology....
When Jesus raised the Dead...they were people known by ordinary. persons and known to be truly dead, one was three days entombed...yet he was brought back....That's a Miracle...
Buy when you bring someone who 90 percent of the congregants have not seen with the ailment and simply point ur fingers at them.....That's a Con Lie.
Elon Musk Launching his Rocket to the ends oo Pluto and re landing it back to earth for reuse....That's a Miracle I'd rather believe over Nigerian pastors nay soothsayers. Bros, I am not even bothered if it was stage-managed or not. What I know is that from all visible signs and spiritual insight, I know when something is not from God. That to me was not from God. Secondly, Miracles are not the essence of Christianity. They are just like means to an end. The essence is to be in relationship (i.e. worship) with him. This is lost on many Christians, talk-less of the gullible and the fakers. |

Signs and wonder is different from magic or sorcery. Signs and wonders wins souls and makes them rapture-bound. It does not bread freaks or commercial slaves 3. I quite agree with you on many of your points but @ the embolden, except you are not an African then, you are excused. My point is that these things actually exist, one doesn't say because he has never seeing a spirit that makes their existence a lie. In fact, the OP blundered on the point, because he did not state his own definition of miracles and check if it aligns with the christian definition of miracles. He comes up with a standard i.e. "grow a limb".............. Is that a standard definition or who says that's a miracle? How for instance do we differentiate miracles from magic or sorcery?. For instance, I believe TB Joshua is a false prophet, yet I watched how he pointed to a deformed boy (with twisted neck) and it moved back to position. Would I call that a miracle magic or sorcery? |

Demmocrats:
Praying is not a sign of faith, it indicates a lack of faith. You would not pray if you truly believed in an all-powerful God who has a perfect plan for your life. Who ever wrote this crap, needs God asap.
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 1. You've simply said it all. The paradigm of an atheist is different, hence you get conclusion that had no biblical basis. 2. Nigerians you voted for change, you guys have not seen anything yet from this lie lie people. Bros, slow down 1. I think you should not blame the man based on your comprehension issues 2. He never said neither did he imply 5000 would turn into a clinic 3. But if you'd extended your context fairly, you would have understood that for him to refer to clinic, means there could, would or should be a clinic. 4. But what do I know? you're simply another wailer |

Now these are my bets 1. 90% of all the posters above me never read APC manifesto 2. The same never bothered to know the details of the 5k conditional social intervention

naptu2: Nigerian journalists have reported from war zones for many decades (it's nothing new). Many of them have even been killed in conflicts (including the current Boko Haram insurgency).
Many of the Civil War pictures that are being shared online today were taken by the great Peter Obe, who was always at the scene of the action.
Tayo Awotunsin of The Champion and Krees Imodibie of The Guardian were abducted and killed by Charles Taylor's NPFL (the murderers were led by Colonel Putu) while covering the Liberian Civil War in 1991.
The NTA's Moni Abubakar was also very active in Liberia and Sierra Leone in the late 1990s and early 2000s (she was embedded with Nigerian troops).
Channels Television's Enenche Akogwu was killed by Boko Haram militants while covering their attack on Kano in January 2012.

The NTA's Zakariya Isa was also murdered by Boko Haram terrorist in Maiduguri.
NTA and Silverbird journalists have been embedded with the troops many times (I have watched their reports), including just last week when the Minister of Information toured the battle field.
I remember that both NTA and Silverbird showed clips of the service chiefs at the battle front, for example, when IED experts had to travel a few metres ahead of the Chief Of Army Staff's convoy to de-mine the area.
Is there any journalist in this world that knows more about Boko Haram than Ahmad Salkida, who has interviewed the late Mohammed Yusuf, Abubakar Shekau and has even served as a mediator between the government and Boko Haram (at great risk to his life)? 1. TonyeBarcanista: Only an ignorant person will abuse Ribadu.
I remember when Ribadu left for PDP, I was devastated because I was pro-APC as at then. Less than six months later, I (myself) left APC to PDP. Many felt let down and bad but I later understood why Ribadu left in the first instance.
A man like Ribadu is a man of integrity. He couldn't stand corrupt Nyako as his leader. He believed that Nigeria need change and he switched to PDP that he feels he can actualise it (though he stood higher chance in APC but we all know that Atiku as party leader will NOT support Ribadu as APC candidate). Unfortunately, forces even within the PDP in Adamawa worked against Ribadu candidacy. They knew that a Governor Ribadu will mean "No Business as usual". Right now, the guy can't cope witj the position of his party and majority chieftains on corruption. I mean, a man like Ribadu can't endorse shielding corrupt people under any guise. If he wants to return to APC, the APC should see it as a boost to their image. Ribadu is an asset! He's the man I want PDP to jealously guide. Should he leave, it will be a heavy blow to PDP. The era where goats will seek for more power after eating yams is over. Votes now counts. Beautiful piece from you. My take is that political ambition is like career management. You must manage it yourself and pitch your tent where your aspirations are best served. The only implication with Ribadu's move is that he may take some sort of "punishment" on his return to APC but it may be worth it. PS: I wonder whatever Ribadu went to look for in PDP |

What might save us is a rally in oil prices which could happen next year but that is a big gamble. My view is that this is budget of irresponsibility. I think a major part of the non-oil revenues will come from issuance and re-issuance of minning licences, royalties and charges on minning |
