Christianity EtcRe: Tithes And Offerings by MarkMiwerds(m):
OLAADEGBU: Neither have you produced the Scripture that tell us that we are not required to tithe our money.
You want a verse that says we don't have to tithe our money?

Proverbs 30:5-6 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

His Word reveals the only tithe He required of man... that tithe was of crops and livestock. You have to add to God's Word to come up with your twisted interpretation of what God requires as tithe. The Word of God calls you a liar.

Read the answers from the word of God instead of listening to your emotional outbursts.

(Exodus 25:1-3).

What is silver and gold if not money in today's usage? These verses burst your bubble again sir.
I suggest you read that verse again. You may want to put your glasses on first. Read each word slowly. If you read it slow enough, you should see the error of your way. That which is to be brought is not tithes. (ma'aser) Rather, it is an offering. (teruwmah) And it is not a mandatory offering either. God said only those who were willing (nadab) to give the silver and gold should bring it.

Exodus 25:1-3 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering. And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,

This is a freewill offering and has nothing whatsoever to do with tithes.

The Scripture proves you to be the one listening to YOUR OWN emotional outbursts. It is YOUR bubble that is burst.

Bidam: Yeah...a pointer that all his arguments were blind to start with.lol
No, my arguments are not blind.

Yours, however, are.

You have yet to produce that Scripture that supports your monetary tithe requirement. In order to teach your doctrine, you have to add to the Word.

Our doctrine does not add to the Word at all, nor does it take away from the Word. Rather, it is in perfect harmony with what is written in the pages of God's Holy Word.

Animals are not redeemed, Joagbaje. Why do you keep insisting they are?

Bidam: You are in error here..The scripture you quoted was haphazard. The scripture says the tither must not pick out the good from the bad or make any SUBSTITUTION.

If he does, it becomes holy and irredeemable.

This is the right quote:LEVITICUS 27:30-31
30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S: it is holy to the LORD.
31 And if a man will at all redeem anything of his tithes, he shall add to it the fifth part of it.

Anything is also an animal.
no, i am not in err. The crop tithe was redeemable, the animal tithe was not

cows, sheep, chickens, goats, horses, camels.
Christianity EtcRe: Tithes And Offerings by MarkMiwerds(m):
Tithes were crops and livestock only. Crops could be redeemed (Leviticus 27:30-31) Animals could not be redeemed. (Leviticus 27:32-33)

Joagbaje: ^^^

So do snake farmers bring the snakes to the house of God first and them redeem the serpent?

Tithes are given of all earning.
tithes were of crops and livestock only. Snakes were not crops, nor livestock.

They were not titheable.

No, one did not tithe his earnings. He tithed of the increase of crops and livestock.
Christianity EtcRe: Tithes And Offerings by MarkMiwerds(m): 6:57pm On Oct 19, 2013
Joagbaje: People gave money as tithes and offerings in the bible . By choice It's called redemption .a farmer can give money in replacement of his animal
Sorry Joagbaje, but Scripture proves you wrong. Farmers could not give money as tithes.

Leviticus 27:30-31 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S: it is holy unto the LORD. And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.

The word "redeem" is translated from the Hebrew word "ga'al," and simply means "to buy back." One did not tithe with money, the tithe could be bought back with money if the farmer so chose.

But in order to "buy back" the tithe, he would have to give the tithe first.

Only the crops tithe could be redeemed. The livestock tithe could not be redeemed.

Leviticus 27:32-33 And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD. He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.

Image123: 2 Corinthians 9:6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Mark, is the passage above referring to only agricultural produce?
context shows that verse is in relation to a freewill offering, not the mandatory monetary tithe that you embrace
Christianity EtcRe: Tithes And Offerings by MarkMiwerds(m):
And still you have not produced the Scripture that tells us we are required to tithe our money.

Could it be because there is no such Scripture in the Word of God that instructs the Church to collect the monetary tithe?

Could it be that it is because the monetary tithe requirement is a commandment of men rather than a commandment of God?

Could it be because the monetary tithe requirement is only a fabrication concocted in the dark recesses of a greedy man's vain imagination?

The answer to the first two questions can only be a definite and resounding "YES". The third answer depends on whether the teacher of the monetary tithe requirement is teaching that doctrine out of sheer ignorance due to lack of study, or in spite of complete knowledge of what the Word of God says concerning His Holy tithe.

birdman: There is no need to abuse the man. It is possible to be led of God and not have all your doctrine in order - after all he is human. Blame the Christians who refuse to apply the Berean test to what they hear. Like the Bible says, the Spirit (not Oyedepo) teaches you all things. Oyedepo is supposed to be confirmation to what you receive by study, not the other way round.
My post was not really "abusing" Oyedepo at all.

It was stating a fact. If he has the congregation believing that one has to slap a professed witch, he has no Scripture to support that doctrine. And to tell the young woman there is no hope for her, that she is going to hell, was totally uncalled for.

He should have explained to her why it was impossible for her to be a witch if she was serving Jesus, how light and darkness have no fellowship with each other.

I have an illustration that I give when explaining the hidden things of darkness and how they are in direct opposition to the light. I simply turn all the lights out. The windows being covered, the room becomes pitch black. I then ask the person struggling with sin to find a verse in his Bible and read it for the congregation.

Of course he can't. But the point is easily seen.

But it wasn't just that young lady, it was several in the video that Oyedepo said there was no hope for. That is not true at all. As long as there is breath in the body, there is always hope. The light switch needs to be turned on, that's all.

Oyedepo, in his book, said that God will give you divine protection when you tithe.

Must've been God's day off the day mother fell and broke her back. And to think she had been tithing faithfully for more than half a century.

I sound angry? I am. And I should be when preachers such as Oyedepo lie to people in order to extort money from them.

Image123: Don't know where you got such gospel, hopefully it is not a figment of the antitither's imagination. Oyedepo for instance does.kt tell you that tithing works all the time. Read one little book he wrote "The hidden covenants of blessings". He says in EVERY chapter of the book that tithing alone is not enough.
Oyedepo's book is contrary to God's promise. For instance, you say that in his book he does not tell you that tithing works all of the time. This of coruse, is contrary to God's promise and malign's God's character.

In Malachi, God said, "Prove me." How is it "proving God" when one tithes and He does not fulfill His promise that He gave for those who tithe? Such a god who does not always keep His promises is not to be trusted.

The God of the Bible is faithful to keep His promises.

Get Oyedepo's book? No thank you. Why would I want a book that tells me that God requires tithes of His people? Oyedepo is revealed to be a liar just trying to get more money out of the gullible masses through the sales of his book.

Any unbeliever can ask again where the fulfilment to such promises are. Your mother's experience is not our yardstick, holding on to God is.
You don't get it, do you?

God did not say "Prove me, and I might pour out blessings." Nor did He say "Prove me, and I will pour out a little bit of a blessing."

No, He said, "Prove me, and I will pour out so many blessings you will not have room enough to receive it."

Prove Him in what? He clearly tells us what to prove Him in. "Bring ye all the tithes into mine House." God promised to bless the tithe overabundantly for tithing... not tithing plus.

Is God a liar? Your doctrine sure makes Him to be one.

That "sure Word of Prophecy" declares that God will bless in overabundance for tithing.

Does it not?

Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

So, I ask again, where is this overabundance of blessing that my mother was supposed to get for tithing? The blessing of seeing pastors get richer while she continued to struggle in poverty month to month?

One can pick some random fellow and say giving is not working or prayer is not working, or God is not working. It is unto you according to your faith. If your faith is in your mum and her life for 500 years, please keep it to yourself. We need people who's faith and hope is on God and His word.
My mother followed yours and others twisted interpretation of the Word of God.

That is why she never received the overabundance of blessings God promised to those who tithe. She was not following His directions, but nam's vain imagination of what the tithe was.

I have learned, not just from my mother's experiences, but also from God's Holy Word that the tithe you promote is not God's Holy tithe at all. He never authorized the tithe you promote.

Keep it to myself? Why? So your false doctrine of a monetary tithe requirement is not exposed to be the fraud it actually is? My mother's faithfulness in "tithing" her money and the end results is proof that God never required that monetary tithe, nor did He ever promise blessings for a monetary tithe.

I am wondering just how long one is supposed to "cultivate the habit of tithing" before the harvest is "in bountiful folds?

My mother faithfully "tithed" for over half a century. Never once saw this "bountiful folds" you speak of.

The promise God attached with tithing does not match up with the "blessings" that all you "tithe" teachers claim. God said of the blessings He promised for tithing, "there shall not be room enough to receive it."

So many blessings that there is not enough room for them. That is quite a lot of blessings that obviously were absent in my mother's 50+ years of tithing her money. Who got the blessings she was supposed to have received for her faithfulness?

swtchicgurl: The fact that you're 'doing well' at work, home etc, does not mean the consequences of NOT tithing won't play its way out (this is not a threat, it's a guarantee). But that's a discussion for another day.

The whole idea of TITHING simply expresses your faith and love for God. The fact that some 'people' have abused tithe in some churches does not mean that God's standards have changed.

Show me a man who does not tithe and I will show you a man who has put his sight on man's errors other than God's standards.

Many of us are looking God's hands instead of looking on His face. Many of us are listening to the rythm of bad news instead of listening to God's heartbeat.
All who teach their members to tithe their money have "abused tithe". God said in His Holy Word that His tithe consisted of crops, flocks, and herds.

Man teaches that God requires a monetary tithe with no Scripture whatsoever to support his claim.

Monetary tithe requirement teachers "abuse tithe" whether they buy fancy homes, cars and jets... or not!

swtchicgurl: Wow! I've been away for too long....This is a very interesting thread! cheesy

@Alwaystrue and other tithe supporters, God bless your effort. I've read every single page until now.

In another thread, these questions were asked:

I'll try to answer briefly:
My wife always says, "If trying is what you are doing, doing is what you're not."

a) ok. paying tithe as an unbeliever is a waste of time.
Teaching for doctrines the commandments of men is a waste too.

b) who are levites? full-time workers in the house of God, whether pastor or gateman! "their inheritance is of the Lord" if then you don't bring what belongs to God to Him (tithe), how will the levites survive?!
Hate to burst your bubble, but one does not become a Levite by answering a call to preach the Word of God. Levites are a tribe, not a religion.

c) at that time, wealth was measured based based on livestock, landed properties and family size. this day, it's basically money! we are not farmers! and yes, you can still tithe anything, money or materials!
Easily disproved by the fact that money is seen in the dispensation of the Law many times over, yet not once in the Mosaic Law was money tithed. Money is mentioned more than 500 times in the Old Testament alone.

d) then, how many times a year do you harvest as a farmer? now, how many times in a year do you recieve salary? pay your tithe as much time! if you are still a farmer, feel free to pay once a year sef... it all depends on when you have an "income"!
The Word of God declares God's Holy tithe only to be on agricultural... not income. I'll stick with the Word of God.

e) same as 'd' above
see my answer to 'd' above

f) when people bring their tithes to the temple, them levites (full time church workers) take them into the storeshouses becos they have the access and authority to do that.
As I so rightly pointed out, one does not become a Levite by answering a call of God to preach the Word. Nor does one become a Levite by pastoring a Church. Also, nowhere does the Bible say the Church is the "storehouse." Pastor's do not have the authority to receive tithes. You cannot produce on iota of Scripture that says they do.

g) 'eating' one's tithe is solely by God's permission! there's a difference between 'you bringing me the money you owe me and i say, don't worry, you can have it' and 'you not bringing it at all'.
God nowhere tells the New Testament Church to tithe their money. He nowhere tells them they owe tithes.
h and k) who is a 'poor'? are you poor? the poor will never sieze from the church. if you are 'poor', go ahead and don't pay your tithe! relate with God on the level of your faith! that poor widow gave her all (not just 10percent)!
Who are the poor? People like my mother who were deceived by people like you into giving 10% of their social security benefits over to a corrupt corporation doing business as a Church.

i) the Lord is their inheritance (levites), also, the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. connect the dots.
There is no connection. You are attempting to get from point 'a' to point 'z' without following the guidelines that are given at all points in between.

j) when there's no income, how do you tithe. you can only tithe when there's income.
Again, you have no Scripture whatsoever to support your claim. God did not require tithe from income.
I pray God will open your eyes! PAY YOUR TITHE!
God has opened my eyes. I AM NOT REQUIRED TO TITHE!
I thank God that you have agreed from the above that Jesus is Melchizedek since you said the tithe he was said to have received in Hebrews 7:8 was of agricultural produce and not money !
Let us see from the very beginning especially the very first tithe Jesus collected ! This can be found in Genesis 14:10-20'' 18 ''And Melchizedek, the king of Salem and a priest of God Most High, brought Abram some bread and wine. Melchizedek blessed Abram with this blessing:
“Blessed be Abram by God Most High,Creator of heaven and earth. And blessed be God Most High, who has defeated your enemies for you.”
Then Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of all the goods he had recovered.'' Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of ALL THE GOODS FROM THE SPOILS OF WAR !
What do you think spoils of war means ? Just to help you a little,it is not compulsorily or most definitely farm produce or live stocks but Any profits extracted as the result of winning a war i.e houses, ships, gold, silver, bronze, petroleum products,CASH ETC. See Scripture below to show you clearly from the bible what spoils could mean:
Joshua 6:18-19 “Do not take any of the things set apart for destruction, or you yourselves will be completely destroyed, and you will bring trouble on the camp of Israel. Everything made from silver, gold, bronze, or iron is sacred to the Lord and must be brought into his treasury.” So Miwerds, dnt think Abraham gave Melchizedek only toro-toro/kpe-kpe-ye or pig and grass cutter or yam, cassava and ewe grin ! It is possible he did but not limited to that since the bible stated clearly that he gave a tenth of ALL THE SPOILS !
Where was Melchizedek before he was tithed to ? and was it during the harvest of farm produce that HE was tithed to ? and was it Abraham's FARM produce that was tithed to Melchizedek ?
See Genesis 28:20-22 ''Then Jacob made this vow: “If God will indeed be with me and protect me on this journey, and if he will provide me with food and clothing, and if I return safely to my father’s home, then the Lord will certainly be my God. And this memorial pillar I have set up will become a place for worshiping God, and I will present to God a tenth of everything he gives me.” Jacob said he will present to God a tenth of everything HE gives to him ! And i ask you Midwerk,if God has has blessed Jacob or even me with pounds,dollars,dutch-mark and even naira CASH, landed property and other tangible goods, will it not still be a tenth of all these i will present to God ? So how then are you saying we should not give money as tithe to show appreciation to God if we so desire when HE has blessed us ! The two examples of the very first tithers gave a tithe of all as given to them by God !

God help us
I did not say Jesus was Melchizedek. Nor do I believe that He was Melchizedek.

Scripture is quite clear that He cannot be Melchizedek.

Hebrews 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

Melchizedek was made "like unto", or resembling the Son of God. Notice other verses that use such comparisons:

Matthew 11:16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,

Were the people of Jesus' generation children? Of course not!

Matthew 13:45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:

Is the kingdom of Heaven a merchant man? Again, the answer is NO!

Matthew 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

Were the scribes and Pharisees tombs? No!

Similitudes are used throughout the Scripture. Melchizedek's comparison to Christ is one such similitude. He was not Jesus Christ.

We who are Christ's have been brought into a new covenant. Scripture does not say we were brought into the old covenant with the Mosaic/Levitic Law. Nor does it say that we were brought into a covenant made with Melchizedek. (if indeed there was such a covenant) No, we aare in a "new covenant." One that did not exist previously. Had it existed previously, it would not be called "NEW".

Where, in the NEW COVENANT, are we instructed to tithe our money? Don't return to the Law for the answer. Don't return to Melchizedek for the answer. We are not in those covenants. We are in a New Covenant with Jesus Christ.

Where does He say "tithe money"?
Christianity EtcRe: Anti-tithers Are Playing On The Intelligence Of Nigerian Churches by MarkMiwerds(m): 1:00pm On Oct 15, 2013
Hebrews 7:8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.

The above verse does say, "there he (Jesus) receiveth them".

What is the "them" that Jesus receives?
When was this written?

The book of Hebrews was written in 66 A.D.. Four years prior to Titus invading Jerusalem with his army and destroying the Temple, scattering the Levites who had been ministers of the Temple as the Mosaic/Levitic Law required.

At the time Hebrews was written, the tithes being paid were also according to the Mosaic/Levitic Law. That tithe was a tithe of crops, flocks and herds as the Mosaic/Levitic Law commanded it to be. The sons of Levi had a command to receive tithes of their brethren. (the remaining tribes of Israel) At the same time, the Lord Jesus Christ was receiving tithes.

What tithes was Jesus Christ receiving? Why, the tithes that were being given to the Levites... tithes of crops, flocks and herds. There was no tithe of silver or gold, no tithe of money in any shape or form.

History records that from the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D., until 585 A.D., no tithes were collected of the people of God at all.

As pointed out, the tithes Jesus is said to have received in Hebrews 7:8 were agricultural in nature... not money. Agricultural tithes were still being received in 66 A.D..

Where is the verse that says we are to tithe money? Why is it so hard for Olaadegbu, Bidam, and others to produce Scripture that says we are to tithe money today?

Oh wait! I know the answer. It is because that "scripture" is only found in the dark recesses of man's vain imagination, and not at all in the Word of God.
Christianity EtcRe: Anti-tithers Are Playing On The Intelligence Of Nigerian Churches by MarkMiwerds(m): 11:18am On Oct 15, 2013
I encourage Christians to look around them. Look at those who are "tithing", and ask yourselves, "If God promised to open the windows of Heaven and pour out an overabundance of blessings upon these tithers, why is there no evidence that He has done so?"

They all claim to have been blessed for tithing. And no doubt, they may be blessed. But is it because they "tithed"?

The only true answer to that question is "NO"!

How can I say this? Because the promise for tithing is not just blessings, but rather it is an overabundance of blessings. So much blessings that one cannot contain them. An oversupply. Notice:

Malachi 3:10-11 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

This is speaking of such a blessing that it would be quite noticeable by others that God has truly blessed. Blessings that the one being blessed wouldn't even have enough room for.

Yet, that is not what we see manifest in the majority of "tither's" life at all. It seems only the "Pastor's" have an overabundance. But their overabundance is not coming from God. Rather, it is coming from the pockets of those they preach the deceitful doctrine of "monetary tithe" to.

Why, in more than half a decade of "tithing" her money, did not my mother ever see the overabundance that God promised to give the tither? Simple answer... God never required a tithe of money, so He never promised any blessings for one tithing money.

Conclusion: The command to tithe and the blessings associated with tithing is not given to us today. It was for Israelites who were living in the dispensation of the Mosaic/Levitic Law.

The word "prospered" in the KJV is translated from the Greek word "euodoo".

Many mistake to to mean proportions, or percentages. In reality, it does not.

The verse is speaking of giving because God has prospered the giver. Has nothing whatsoever to do with tithing. It was a collection, a love offering, for the saints in Jerusalem, nothing more.

Also notice in the text that we are not told what the contents of the "collection" is. It could be money, it could be clothing, it could be food. We are not told.

It might have been money, given the great distance from Corinth to Jerusalem. Money would be the lightest gift to carry. But we don't know for sure the contents. Only that it was a collection and not tithes.

Goshen360: Today, I believe and confirm you're one of the people confused by KJV English. cheesy

1 Corinthians 16:1-2
Amplified Bible (AMP)

16 Now concerning the money contributed for [the relief of] the saints (God’s people): you are to do the same as I directed the churches of Galatia to do. 2 On the first [day] of each week, let each one of you [personally] put aside something and save it up as he has prospered [in proportion to what he is given], so that no collections will need to be taken after I come.

Even a common man with good English language can tell (from the context) that word 'store' is to put something aside without 'concordance' or other translations.
Also, that "collection in 1 Corinthians 16 is not speaking of tithes, but rather, a collection... a love offering. It was to be sent to Jerusalem. It was not to be hoarded by that local Church in Corinth. It was not to pay debts within the Corinthian congregation. It was not to pay the pastor of the Corinthian congregation. It was not to support a single member of the Church at Corinth.

1 Corinthians 16:1-4 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem. And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.

Goshen360: Matthew 23:23
Amplified Bible (AMP)

23 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders (hypocrites)! For you give a tenth of your mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected and omitted the weightier (more important) matters of the Law—right and justice and mercy and fidelity. These you ought [particularly] to have done, without neglecting the others.

The more I stay closer to God's word, the more the Lord, through the Spirit open my understanding. From this verse, that we've been saying - it was the scribes and pharisees that are tithing. I 'believe' these scribes and pharisees are group that had emerged between the inter-testament and 'might' have been the 'priests who are with the Levites' and were commanded to pay 'tithe of tithes'. Their attitude from the days of Malachi 'must have' continued through the inter-testament bible days until the days of Christ. Hence, Christ repeating the same line of rebuke as it was in the days of Malachi.

I have not investigated what I said above ^ though but I will.

That said, it is the same 'scribes and pharisee' spirit and pretending attitude we see all over any tithe debate or teachings - that is, group of people who hold onto one side of the law but neglecting the others. This is the major problem of the law, and Jesus included that in his rebuke. You can't pick one matter of the law and neglect the other. When you question tithing according to the law, our other brethren kindly run to Abraham tithing in which Abraham wasn't even obeying any commandment to tithe and continue to tithe from month to month.

If you're going to tithe, do not neglect justice, justification through the law of moses; do not neglect mercy through the law, do not animal sacrifice as other parts of the law - the law is a wholesome package.
The thing is, according to St. Paul's first epistle to Timothy, chapter 1, verses 8-10, the Apostle tells Timothy that the Law is made for those who "teach contrary to sound doctrine."

Those who teach that God requires a monetary tithe teach contrary to sound doctrine. Therefore, the Law is made for them. And, as you so rightly pointed out, they are bound by the Mosaic and Levitic Law... they must continue in all things written in the Law to do them (Gal 3:10) or be under a curse.

And you are correct in identifying their imitation of the scribes and Pharisees in their self-righteous attitudes. They look down on people like you or me who do not bow to their monetary tithe doctrine, accusing us of not knowing Christ.

Christ has not just redeemed His from the curse of the Law, but He has declared that those who are His are not to be put under the yoke of the Law. We need not fear the self-righteous condescending barbs from the mouths of the monetary tithe doctrine crowd. They have their reward, and will be judged according to the Law according to the Word of God.

When their words are compared to Scripture, they are found to be weighed in the balance and wanting.

Joagbaje: Abraham gave tithes to him of faith. It was based on revelation. He saw the man was not ordinary. He represented God .

Hebrews 7:4
Now consider how great this man was — even Abraham the patriarch gave a tenth of the plunder to him!
Scripture does not say Abram gave tithes to him in faith. You read into the Scripture what is not there.

And, once again, Ola returns to the Law. It is no surprise he cannot justify his doctrine of a monetary tithe requirement. He is unable to rightly divide the Word of Truth.
