A prophet in Zambia is buzzing the internet after he introduced what he called ‘anointed milk’ to sweeten the lives of his members.

The Zambian prophet based in the country’s capital of Lusaka says he has discovered a method of sweetening the lives of his congregants.
This controversial discovery has been kicked against by a church mother body, the Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) which says the activities of the Prophet are unbiblical.

According to Prophet David Banda of Altar of Grace, God has instructed him to be using honey and milk so as to chase away any danger that might want to go near the children of God, reports Face of Malawi.

“I use honey and milk in the church because of the revelation that has been given to me by God. The bible says that and I will lead you to the land that flows with milk and honey and that land is Canaan.

“Isaiah 7:14 says therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son and will call Him Immanuel,” said the man of God upon being interviewed by local reporters.

He continued saying, “God has instructed me to pray for milk and honey and give it to the children of God.”

Prophet Banda said there was really nothing new and peculiar about the anointed honey and milk concept because even most prophets in the bible relied on it.

“Many prophets in the bible used to eat honey, for example John the Baptist used to feed on honey and locusts. Am not giving it to the children of God to bath it or do anything with it but God has instructed me to pray for it and give it to them so that as they eat that honey their lives can become more sweeter than before,” he explained.

Some students of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, COOU, formerly Anambra State University, have taken to social media to disclose that one of their lecturers gave them free textbooks for his lecture.

The students who are of the department of mass communication, 200 level, expressed surprise at the action of their lecturer, saying they never believed a lecturer could do such a thing.

Massmediang gathered that the lecturer had noticed that the students did not resume school immediately after the nationwide strike by university lecturers, so he devised a means to get them back to school.

He then sent a message to the whatsapp group of the class telling them that the first set of students to appear in class will get his textbook free of charge. The textbook is actually sold N1,500 in the University bookshop.

In the end, 80 percent of the class got the textbook free. The lecturer told the students that what he gave them was one of his best textbooks but insisted that anyone who failed to come to class with the free textbook will be walked out. Two of the students actually forgot to come to class with theirs for the next lecture after receiving the free gift.

A Chinese buyer has set the record for the highest bidding for a pigeon, offering $1.4 million (about N500 million) at an auction for just one pigeon.
The Chinese buyer bid more than $1.4 million for a prized Belgian racing pigeon in an “unprecedented” sale, according to the auctioneer that organized the sale.
The pigeon, named Armando, is considered to be the best long-distance racing pigeon “of all time” according to PIPA, the website that organized the sale. The bird has been dubbed by some as the Lewis Hamilton of racing pigeons, in reference to the Formula One racing driver.
“This type of champion is rarely offered for sale,” the site said.

A man who had always worn his protective armour made of dozens of blessed Buddha amulets killed by a truck the day he forgot to wear the armour.
Sanom Chantaraphirom, a 58-year-old man from Thailand who had become famous for wearing an eye-catching “Buddha armor” made up of dozens of blessed Buddha amulets to enhance his luck, recently died in a tragic car accident after leaving his house without his protective garment.
Chantaraphirom, a dedicated Buddhist, first made news headlines in Thailand two years ago, when a video of him wearing one of his several Buddha armors on the streets of his native Sawaeng Ha district, in Ang Thong Province, went viral. Reporters soon got in touch with him and learned that the man, who earned a living making errands with his rickshaw, had accumulated hundreds of blessed Buddha amulets from various temples around the country and had fashioned them into a chain mail-like armor complete with a helmet. Buddha amulets are considered tools to increase the wearer’s luck in different aspects of life, and virtually every Buddhist in Thailand owns at least one, but Sanom Chantaraphirom wore dozens of them over his clothing as a sign of his dedication to Buddhism.

Tree Growing In Football Stand Becomes Official Supporter With Membership Card And Club Jersey (Video)
A tree growing in a football stand of a local club has been made an official member of supporters club with membership card and jersey.
The Resistencia Sport Club, a small football club in Paraguay’s second division, is the first in the world to make a tree growing in the stands of its stadium an official supporter, even offering it a membership card and complimentary jersey.
Resistencia’s evergreen supporter is as old as the club, so both the team and its human supporters consider it part of their history. It was around back when the stadium was a mere football field in the middle of a wasteland, so 20-years ago, when the club decided to built concrete stands for its fans, it never even considered the possibility of cutting down their oldest supporters. Instead, they asked the architects and engineers in charge of the project to come up with a solution that would allow it to thrive. So they built the stands around it, allowing human fans to watch home games in its shade. A couple of years ago, when Resistencia celebrated its 100th anniversary, management decided to honor the tree by making it an official member of the club, complete with its own member card and jersey.

A boy in Imo State took his bath in a gutter with water inside it to celebrate the defeat of Rochas Okorocha and his team in the just concluded Governorship election. The incident happened in Owerri, the state capital.

A Russian city has hosted a sporting event that is still leaving most people in other parts of the world stunned. It is a face slapping competition which only ends when an opponent is either knocked out or dazed by a dirty, hot slap.
The Russian city of Krasknoyask recently hosted the country’s first ever amateur face-slapping championship, which had participants slap each other across the face until one of them got knocked out.
The controversial event was held during the Siberian Power Show, a popular sports show held in Krasnoyarsk on March 16 and 17. A similar competition took place last year, in Moscow, but it featured only professional athletes competing for the unofficial title of most heavy-handed face slapper.
This time, organizers decided to give amateurs the chance to prove themselves, so anyone willing to engage in some manly face slapping was invited to sign up. Most of the participants were just random guys who had come to attend the power show and decided to try something new.
Some of them never knew the world of pain they would be experiencing in the hands of a man whose hand was like a computerized slap.
The rules of this amateur face-slapping championship are still a bit unclear, but Oddity Central gathered from various Russian sources that competitors faced each other across a small table similar to the ones used in arm-wrestling competitions, and hit each other across the face with the palm of their hands.
One of the two men would be knocked out by the slap, but if both were left standing after taking some slaps, a judge would decide the winner based on power and technique.

A Japanese company has taken breastfeeding to another level with a new device that allows men to participate. The device has two fake breasts which could trick any baby into thinking that the milk was coming from ‘original source’.

The new Japanese product was designed by a company called Dentsu which allows dads to “breastfeed” their babies by using the wearable device that holds milk or formula.
The product was showcased at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas and is called the “Father’s Nursing Assistant.”

The device has two fake “breasts” and lets dads feed their babies and promotes skin-to-skin contact between fathers and infants. One side holds milk or formula and the other side contains the nipple system.
The device doesn’t just feed the baby, it also tracks data about breastfeeding sessions and transmits the info to the father’s smart phone.

A ‘police’ masquerade was recently spotted at a popular junction in Abba, Anambra state standing in the middle of the road, controlling traffic.

The masquerade was designed to look like a police officer.
Motorists seemed to be obeying the masquerade as he waved towards different directions.

A man got more than he expected for his birthday after he discovered that his son had made the event a worldwide celebration.
The New Jersey man will never forget 62nd birthday after his sons posted his phone number on a large roadside billboard inviting people to call and wish him well. So far, he has gotten over 15,000 calls and texts from people all over the world.
Chris Ferry’s sons used to prank him when going to restaurants by telling waiters that it was his birthday just so they could watch him squirm uncomfortably as they brought him cake. This year, they took things to a whole new level by renting a billboard outside Linwood and posting their dad’s phone number on it, inviting people to send him their best wishes. They thought it would be something of a local joke, with their dad getting a few calls from random strangers, but after the photo went viral on social media, things got a bit out of hand.
The billboard went up on March 6, and by March 12, Chris Ferry had already received well over 15,000 birthday calls and texts from people in countries like the Philippines, Kenya, Luxembourg, Ireland, Guatemala, Nepal and Australia. He actually tried to take every call and answer every text at first, but he eventually gave up and changed his voice mail to “thank you for calling to wish me a happy birthday, I really, very much appreciate it…”.

Fat police officers in Thailand are currently being bundled to a camp where they are expected to pass through a tedious slimming process.

A bus driver was shocked to discover that two of the passengers he was carrying had undressed completely naked and began to have s3x in while in on the road in the presence of other passengers. University Course On Tobacco Allows Students To Smoke In Class To Understand The Subject Better

A controversial course in a University in China provides opportunity for students to smoke cigarettes in order to have first hand understanding of the nature of tobacco.

Series of photos showing students casually lighting up cigarettes in what looks like a University classroom have been doing the rounds online for several months. Initially people wondered what was going on until it was discovered that the photos were taken in a classroom where students were smoking as part of a course they were doing, reports Oddity Central.
The controversial photos originally went viral on Weibo, China’s version of Twitter, back in November of last year, but they’ve been resurfacing on various other social networks and news sites ever since. Young students can be seen lighting cigarettes and casually smoking them, while others take their photos with smartphones and the teacher casually observes the spectacle. Teen smoking is frowned upon in China, as it is pretty much everywhere else, so the photos caused quite a stir online even after the dean of the university where the smoking took place offered an explanation.

Police Shocked To Find 1,500 Smuggled Turtles Alive In Abandoned Luggage At Airport (Video)

Police in the Philippines were shell-shocked to find more 1,500 turtles alive in abandoned luggage at Manilla airport.
The 1,500 live turtles were wrapped in duct tape in unclaimed luggage found d at the airport.

The 1,529 reptiles, with a street value of £66,000, were discovered in four checked-in suitcases at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino airport on Sunday.
The Bureau of Customs seized the cases and found they were filled with rare and protected varieties including star tortoises, red-footed tortoises, sulcata tortoises and red-eared sliders.
Many of the reptiles were wrapped in tape or hidden inside plastic containers buried among clothes inside the suitcases.

A 56-year-old woman from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has been diagnosed with Transient Global Amnesia (TGA) after a terrible headache apparently caused her to completely forget the last 38 years of her life.
One day in early October of last year, Kim Denicola was leaving a bible study at a local church when she called her husband to complain about an excruciating headache and blurry vision. He told her to go to the emergency room, but some friends found her passed out in the church parking lot and rushed her to the hospital. The first thing Denicola remembers from after that incident is lying in a hospital bed and a nurse asking her questions she apparently had all the wrong answers to.
“She said, ‘Do you know what today is, what year are you in?’ I said, ‘Yeah, 1980.’ And she said, ‘Can you tell me who the president is?’ I said, ‘Yes, Ronald Regan.’ And she stopped,” Kim told Fox8.

Things got even worse when a stranger walked into her room and grabbed her hand. When she saw tears in his eyes, she knew something was wrong. That man was David, her husband of 17 years, but she didn’t remember marrying anyone, let alone someone so much older than her. You see, the last thing Kim Denicola remembered from before her blackout was turning 18 in 1980. Everything from that point on, her marriage, giving birth to two children, basically the last 38 years of her life had been completely erased from her memory.

Shocker! Computer Game That Allows Players Rape And Kill Women To Be Launched Despite Outrage (Video)
You might say the world is turning upside down but makers of this game say they are only targeting four percent of the World that are sociopaths. The game is called Rape Day and what the player ‘gains’ as he progresses is to rape and kill women. That sounds unbelievable but it is real.
The developers of the new PC game Rape Day have announced its release date later this month, despite a massive outcry.
The game lets players rape and kill women in story mode.

Desk Plant, the team behind the game, claim the game is aimed at “four percent of the general population [who] are sociopaths” and would enjoy playing a “menacing serial killer rapist during a zombie apocalypse”.
In a statement, it said: “Annoy, murder and rape women as you continue the story. It’s a dangerous world with no laws. The zombies enjoy eating the flesh off warm humans and brutally raping them but you are the most dangerous rapist in town.”

Online gaming platform Steam have put the game under review after receiving a mountain of complaints following its release on February 19.
New Zealand advocacy group Rape Prevention Education said the idea of the game is “outrageous”.

California Fire Fighters Teach Car Owner Lesson By Breaking Rear Window To Make Way For Hose

A crime suspect in China has been nabbed after he went for a job interview with the police thinking that identification exam will not be strict.
The wanted online suspect went all the way to a local police station in Lanshan county, Central China’s Hunan Province on Friday in search of job.

He was trying to apply for an auxiliary police job, and was “welcomed” by the police, report’s Global Times.

When a policeman was checking his qualifications, he discovered the applicant was a wanted online suspect whose family name is Zhao.

The police officer took Zhao to the watchroom pretending to know nothing and then detained him.

Zhao had been avoiding arrest after allegedly committing a crime. Upon hearing that the Lanshan county was recruiting new auxiliary police, he thought he might be lucky enough to find a job there.

A police officer in China has taken her duty to an impressive level by assisting a boy with his math homework and ending a family problem by so doing.
Global Times report’s that the officer in East China helped the young boy with his math homework and in the process settle his argument with his mother, on Monday night.

Shi Zhan, a police officer in Dongyang, Zhejiang Province, was on patrol with her colleague in a community where many migrant workers rent apartments. They were there to report potential fire hazards as many people in the area overload the electrical circuits in their substandard homes.

A wealthy car collector in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has built what may be the largest and most bizarre SUV in the world. Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan combined a military truck and a Jeep to create what he believes to be the world’s largest SUV. Sheikh Hamad is a member of the ruling family in Abu Dhabi.
The vehicle is called Dhabiyan. It is a monstrous 10-wheel vehicle based on the Oshkosh M1075 military truck with a Jeep Wrangler annexed to it as a driver cabin. It is powered by a 600hp, 15.2-liter, 6-cylinder Caterpillar C15 diesel engine, weighs a whopping 24 tonnes and measures 10,8m in length, 2.5 meters in width, and 3.2 meters in height. Dhabiyan was reportedly designed and built by Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, one of the most well-known car collectors in the UAE.

The giant SUV was recently unveiled at an automotive show in Sharjah. The cost of production is said to be confidential.

Her singing is more like howling, but in many of the performances that her owners upload on Instagram it’s obvious that her howls are not random at all. Especially when listening to a song, Ghost tries to follow along as best she can.
It’s typical for Smoyeds to be more vocal than most other dog breeds, but Ghost is the first to use her native talents to become an Instagram superstar. She currently has over 345,000 fans who regularly check in to her page to hear her latest song covers.
Ghost was born in 2016, in Norway. Her owners, Aline Tøllefsen Søndrol and Kristoffer Rosenberg noticed her singing talent early on and set up an Instagram account where they could share her performances with family and friends. But in April of last year, Ghost’s page “blew up”.
On April 18, 2018, Ghost’s owners uploaded a video of her doing her thing while watching Ellen on TV. Host Ellen DeGeneres actually saw it and was so impressed with the canine’s performance that she shared the clip with her fans. Ghost became an overnight sensation and her popularity has been growing ever since.

There are about 125 snake-handling churches in the United States, and almost all of them are found in Appalachia. Snake handlers like do not worship snakes. Instead they use snakes to show non-Christians that God protects them from harm, writes Time.

This practice was popular among evangelical churches in the US in 1940s.
In church services, when they feel the anointing of the Holy Spirit come upon them, these Christians reach into boxes, pick up poisonous snakes and hold them up as they pray, sing, and even dance.
The belief comes from a literal reading of Jesus’ words at the end of the Gospel of Mark: “And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Church In Florida Holds ‘Dog-Friendly’ Services, Says “You Can’t Pray and Leave a Loved One Behind”

A church in Florida has been holding dog-friendly weekly services for more than 10 years to ensure that “you don’t pray and leave your loved one behind.”
Father Albert Cutie, rector at St. Benedict’s Episcopal Church in Plantation, said the facility has been holding “dog-friendly” 6 p.m. Saturday services for about 10 years.

“Can you really pray and leave a loved one behind?” Cutie told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

He said the canine congregants are remarkably well behaved while sitting in the pews with their owners.

“We sometimes have 10 to 12 dogs at a time,” Cutie said. “You never really hear them much — unless they encounter each other after Communion and then they begin to bark at each other. But everybody expects that.”

A firm has created an app which matches male and female cattle 'in love'.

A Tinder-inspired app is helping farmers match up potential partners for their cattle.
Called “Tudder” - a mix of dating app Tinder and udder - it lets farmers swipe right on cattle they like the look of.

The farmers are then directed to a page on the SellMyLivestock website where they can browse more pictures and data about the animals before deciding whether to buy, report's Reuters.

Valuable information is available on matters like milk yield and protein content, or calving potential, explained Doug Bairner, CEO of Hectare Agritech which runs SellMyLivestock (SML) and Graindex, a UK-based online agritech trading platform.

“Matching livestock online is even easier than it is to match humans because there’s a huge amount of data that sits behind these wonderful animals that predicts what their offspring will be,” he said.

The makers believe Tudder is the first ever matchmaking app for livestock.

As with the human equivalent, farmers use smartphones to first choose whether they are looking for a male or female, swiping through photos - right for yes and left for no - until they find a match.

Putting data at their fingertips connects farmers from all over the country, making trading easier.

Cattle farmer and Tudder user James Bridger said it eases transport stress for animals and may rival traditional markets.

“You’ve got all this data of its background and everything which if you’re at a market you might not have had the time to go through for every single random animal,” he told Reuters in the southern English county of Hampshire.
