Ticking time bomb.

Lord protect your people
Get out with your unfounded fears. Should everywhere be locked endlessly? Humans are built to confront and survive new challenges, not to run into holes over any little scare.
You can stay in your hole for eternity, after all inside or outside you will still die. But why die many times first?

LastProphet:
The msg that we should be our brother's keeper is a good one but there are situations that call for deeper understanding and this is something difficult for most Nigerians. Do you really think the govt of a poor country like Nigeria can pay palliative to even a quarter of its citizens? Is Kano supposed to have 17M people? what is their GDP? Is Nigeria supposed to be 200M, what do we have that we are having 200M people? If the 2020 budget is shared equally to each person are you aware you will not get more than N36,000? Even Angola with only about 30M people has a bigger budget than Nigeria, who will explain to Nigerians how really really poor this hopeless country is even without corruption? I'm happy to help the needy but how many can we help if our population continues to spiral out of control? If we had leaders population control would have been the first issue to tackle but we got none
Thanks a lot! Nigerians don't know in fact that the government cannot afford their welfare needs. Our budget is paltry when compared to many countries or industrialized cities around the world. The sad part is that we have a surging population size with no commensurate expanding industrial activities. Our population growth is dangerously out of control.
At the point in time, mass production and exportation are the only measures to salvage this country's economic future. We pray it doesn't grind to a halt for many.

Dumebi. Your ancestral spirits were stripped bare and naked by lanky looking foreigners who looted all your gods and their shrine apparatus.
The belief that some spiritual crap holds some crappy power finds its roots in fear festered in blind religion.

Death is an inevitable end not some mystic power. It literally does not matter when you die in the ripple of time.
All this 3rd world bullshit has to have a finish line.
Shut up Mr Enlightened! It is your likes they carry helplessly in a vegetable state to churches after medical science fails you.
Even when you die tomorrow, your family will go about begging pastors to come conduct your funeral because they want to increase your chances of eternal rest.
Leave people to their faith in GOD; perish alone as you so wish. No one is forcing you to believe in GOD! But where your self-denial about GOD will lead you, time will reveal. A bitter end, if I may provide a little hint.

Investnow2017:
If you ask me Access bank is not in any way distressed, it's just cutting cost and re-strategizing. They have apprehended this tempo currently being felt by their pool customers, and you can trust that their main customers have enough briefs about this development.

In business, bank executives do not recognize the word EMOTIONS, infact it does not exist in their vocab.

When the dust settles you are going to hear of banking products that would draw in a different set of clients for their continuous growth.

With the closure of those branches they believe they would have recouped a huge savings that can cater for any turbulence going forward. This is the common thinking of business executives especially those of banks.

If any call for donations comes up again, they will readily carry out what they term as their social corporate responsibility. There is always a budget for such. Thank bank is not in anyway broke.
.
Paint a fantasy picture as much as you can. Failed PR job! This poo will splatter all over their fat faces when this lockdown is over.

It's noteworthy to observe that among these countries you mentioned, none of them has ever colonized another nation in their history, yet for some reason it's the western countries (US inclusive) that were busy colonizing and taking over governments, that are somehow the saviour of the world. Jokes....

See, I don't mean to argue on this bruv.
It's clear that everything you think you know is information that was given to you by the western media machine. Of course, they are going to paint themselves as the sane ones.

The only fear the US has is that its power is threatened when countries who are equipped with equal/more military (Russia, NK) or economic (China) strength, remain unaccountable to it.

The West alone has done more destruction to the world at large than any of those countries will ever do.
I don't want to argue with you. I hope you are aware that North Korea has a concentration camp. I hope you are also aware that China has a concentration camp where they are doing forced 'reeducation' of a certain tribe, predominantly Muslims. How many political prisoners are there in Russia? Do you know? Now tell me how many political prisoners are there in the Western countries. I hate blind arguments. Facts don't hide themselves.

Even the Muslims who so hate America and other Western countries are rushing there to seek asylum.

Why are Syrian refugees who are mostly Muslims not running to Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Iran or North Korea for asylum? Instead they are all headed to the so called 'evil' West because freedom is next to breath. You are forming socialist and communist without knowing their inherent tenets.

Are you aware that religious freedoms are almost nonexistent in Russia where they are arresting Jehovah Witnesses? Are you aware that China arrests both Muslims and Christians for their faith practices and have largely banned worship? Are you aware that in North Korea the leader is the god you must worship? What about Saudi Arabia? Their lack of freedom is beyond religion. Forget about your Christian beliefs if you step in there. A country where women couldn't drive and largely are locked out of most aspects of society.

Show me one Western country where people are denied of worship rights or voting rights!

Throw away nonsense socialism! GOD made man a free moral agent! This is what the West upholds, sometimes to a fault.

So the issue is that an autonomous country who doesn't answer to them has nuclear capabilities.

Makes me wonder why the US thinks North Korea will stop the development of nukes when they (US) has submarines loaded with nukes roaming about all the oceans of the world.
No human world can survive without balance of power. Otherwise one idiot could wake up one morning and decide to wipe out everyone if there is no big brother eye. America plays that role. It may not speak of fairness or equality but necessity prevails. Nuclear weapons in the hands of brutal states portend grave danger to you.

Now look at the virus crisis we are facing for example. China has refused to allow international enquiry into how it broke out and from what/where. Do you know how many people perished in China? They stifled death and spread reports until they couldn't anymore. This is what authoritarianism enables.

Imagine a world where China, Russia, North Korea, Saudi Arabia or Iran calls the major shots. All parts of the world will be groaning in pains.

Hmm

Canada's budget this year is $355 billion for 24 million people.

Nigeria's budget this year is $26 billion for 200 million people.

And you expect Nigeria to give palliative of N626000 naira per person or per family?

Nigeria is a mess, but we are not up to Canada's level. Vote for governments who would make us an industrial nation, then we can talk.

To all those people cursing Nigeria up-thread...yes, we have had corrupt governments. But there is no way our government can afford to give stimulus of N626,000 naira to everyone. Not on our budget, without taking even more mega loans.

Modified

Even giving 100million Nigerians N50000 each a month would involve spending the equivalent of our budget for the year in one month.($26 Billion)
I am always pleased when enlightened guys like you try to school this ignorant mass of online noisemakers. They think Nigeria can afford everything for them. Interestingly, Nigeria's entire budget is equivalent to departmental budgets of many industrialized cities. But if you tell them, their thick ignorance won't let them understand.

Have you ever been a pastor? Become one first before making this childish, scantily thought out statement.
Pastors beyond preaching on the altar, provide counselling services for couples and intending couples. Can you? Pastors support bereaved families and conduct funerals. Can you? Pastors teach basics of life on a weekly basis. Have you studied enough to do this? Pastors motivate broken people on a daily basis to give them some hope to live. Can you?

When people are in deep mess at odd hours, pastors are among the first three people they call. And they are expected to leave their families behind to meet the needs of a total stranger. Can you?

Being a pastor is a calling that deserves pay. Why should I take up your spiritual and moral burdens when I already have mine? Greedy you expect me to do so for nothing and still go out sweating for basic necessities.

You have no conscience!
