2. In your opinion, what will be the price for a tokunboh 2008 Accord. If you are able to answer that, please let us know how you arrived at your figure. I have checked around and mine is among the most affordable. Don't take my word for it. There are about three other 2008 Accords currently on NL. The prices are as follows:Though noone is asking me, the car has been on sale since January, I would have thought the N3.2m offered in Feb was a fair price, "time is money, N3.2 in the bank would have yielded something by now, July almost" However what the car is worth is whatever a person will pay, hopefully N3.5m in your case. |
what has your response got to do with the post ? Are you saying the men are wrong to have shown zero tolerance for indecent dressing of the woman.haba!!!And the lady is question, is she their wife? NO, or their daughter? Nope She is their equal*, "Zero Tolerance my foot" what right do they have to tell her how to dress, none what so ever, no more than she has to tell them what to wear. *[i]Elected members of the same house, for those of you who don't speak English/i] When they get back to their family houses they can decree whatever they want. In the house no bloody way. What we should have is "Zero Tolerance" for Idiots, Liars and thieves, however that would mean that we would never have a quorum in any house in the country |
Location where it can be viewed and VIN please, I might be interested |
Anyone else?? Preferably person who has had direct experience with them. Regards |
If you want to plug a company you've got an interest in (or one you actually own) then be a bit more upfront about things.Haba Sienna, they are part of the COX group http://www.manheim.co.uk/about_us/worldwide.html and own the MANHEIM group of companies I wouldn't mind being the owner. On a more serious note, would like to hear from anyone who has dealt with the Exporttrader part of the overall business. |
http://www.exporttrader.com/ Could anyone who has had any experience with this company please let me know how you found them. Regards |
Findings:Yes very useful, so after shipping 30+ cars he doesn't know what a bill of laden is. Buyers beware O!!!!!!!!!!! No really, I honestly don't understand why anyone is bothering to investigate this apart from the fact that it is fun anymore, if he is truely an experienced car dealer how come he is mistaking a receipt for a Bill of Laden. I mean if you go and see a Brain Surgeon, and he points to your balls and calls them your left frontal lobe wouldn't you run very fast in the opposite direction. |
Also, it will be difficult to mistake the Bill of Lading for something else. It is the most important document in the shipping process. Most shipping companies will only send it after you have paid for the shipment. If not, they will not give it to you even if you tell them your car is incurring demurrage at the Port. As others have said, it is usually available a few days after the ship has set sail. All this document here, document there, picture here picture there, is while not irrelevent especially in these days of Photoshop is not conclusive in any way, pre-order more than anything else is a trust issue. As an actual example, my friend brought some cars (2 MLs) a couple of years back while I was in America, I took pictures there and have pictures of the cars here in Nigeria, supposed I were to post pictures at the right intervals to support my claims of being the supreme Pre-order car dealer. would that mean I was, anyhow All I can say is that if anyone reading this thread decides to give money up front to "AGARIautos" as he is currently known then the old adage " A fool and his money" would never be more true. Personally I wouldn't deal with him even if the car is sitting in front of me. What I find most annoying is the fact that he might actually be in the trade though probably as someones boy boy, but rather than put in his time to learn and build some capital while making small deals here and there, he believes that quick easy money is the way to go, then he will go to church and ask pastor to bless his business then blame his fathers 2nd wife's children for everything going wrong in his life. |
More ramdom thoughts, While the idea of a formal guide and registered sellers seems good in theory, as members of the forum we have a responsibility and the ability to self regulate, if you see an advertisement that doesn't seem right challenge the poster, in many cases it will be a simple misunderstanding, in others potential fraud whatever the case the more eyes, the more likely the truth will come out and for the newer members once they do a search they have a clearer picture of who is a car dealer and who is a 419er. There is also the simple fact that since these are high value items exchanging hands there will sometimes be disagreements between buyers and sellers, so the fact that someone shouts 419!!! doesn't automatically mean they are being duped. |
i missed oo, i can't believe my eyesIt be like say you sleep my brother ![]() threads like this are the lifeblood of Nairaland |
TIRED OF BUYING FAKE PARTS FOR YOUR CARS ?Now this is a service that is sorely needed, more grease to your elbow. As an aside this is how to do business and build a solid reputation, anyone who has been on this forum for a while should be comfortable doing business with "inspired" |
SIR, NOTHING IS HAPPENING BUT BASELESS FUSE WHEN THE OWNER HAS NOT COMPLAINED FORUMITES ARE ALREADY CRYING FOR HIM. WE ADVICE YOU WAIT AND SEE IF WE WILL FAIL IN OUR DELIVERING OR NOT, THEN AND ONLY THEN YOU CAN CONCLUDE. THANKS FOR POPPING IN TO SAY YOUR MIND.since you insist on continuing this farce, How can the "owner" complain when it is most likely you are him and he is you and Pt Con is your mentor or you, I get confused ![]() Now feel free to prove me wrong, but if it walks like a pig and smells like a pig and looks like a pig, balance of probability is that it's a pig and when you slaughter it, me no go eat as I don't eat swine. |
"See no evil hear no evil say no evil" is all well and good however scarcasm is lost on many Nigerians, so I say call a spade a spade, Funny however how we call Oyingbo Mumu and Mugu without cleaning our own house, O well me I've said my own. |
IMO there is nothing wrong with pre sales, however it does require an extra level of due diligence on the buyers part. Firstly and foremostly as a buyer go and see the seller and or his representatives in Nigeria verify they are who they say they are, if they don't have a person on ground here then run in the opposite direction, get a lawyer involved as the good sellers here tend to. Secondly remember this is the internet, it's only a form of communication, I can claim to be in Texas while sitting in Aba, I can set up multiple accounts with my friends, build a track record with posts all over the place replying to myself and others, before going for the kill, remember scammers have loads of time on their hands and if it takes 3 months of posting to steal N1m then they will put in the time. this is also a good suggestion I think the Mods here also need to take some of the blame. In every other forum i belong to, in any section where goods are sold, there's always a sticky post listing the dos and donts, giving helpful tips on how to avoid being scammed. Bottom line, due diligence and if it sounds too good to be true it usually is. |
IMHO (Which basically means this is the internet and I can say whatever I please, most especially when it's true) I say scam and not very good one either. Buyer registers 13th of May, buys car unseen 2 weeks later, despite claims that "I will not sell car unseen, and no responses to potential customers in NJ who want to see the car. Car claimed to be in NJ whereas pictures shown taken in Texas. So called seller still suspected to be PT Consult, who is a scammer. I call bullshit on Agriautos, madafa and all the other account you have registered and will no doubt be using to try and part people from their hard earned money and please go away, and for the benefit of anyone who thinks for 1 second that this is genuine, please read https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-440645.0.html |
I only ever pay cash for cars, and buy what I can afford.Well yes, most of the time is an ideal approach to life, however, When you have investment opportunities that offer a higher rate of return than the finance then the question becomes how much risk is involved Or when your mortgage rate is higher than the offered finance rate, then finance may make sense, especially when buying a relatively expensive car where depreciation will be the highest cost. Then to really throw the cat among the pigeons, leasing may actually work out a lot cheaper than buying outright, for example my sis (in the UK) brought a CLC 200 cdi Sport end of 2008 auto leather pano roof etc, is paying £220 a month for 3 yrs will probably work out much cheaper than buying and selling after 3 or 4 years. |
If 1st gen then got to be the X5 have friends who have owned both from new, the X5 is simply a much better built car, in fact one of the guys who brought a ML new pxed it for a 2nd hand X5. If you are talking 2nd gen then it's much closer. |
don't you mean 2005485 miles |
Eh! Gbege don happen! Western Union? I learnt the so called Yahoo guys use this medium, We were talking about ptconsult, now this guy. Really a den of 419ers. Moderators, decorum please!Em dude it's called "sarcasm" you know, the rhetorical device of using a characterization of something or someone in order to express contempt. Hence the lefthand drive car refered to as Righthand drive, the reference to Western Union etc |
seems that Nairaland is fast becoming a den of 419ers, Well if you can't beat them I have for sale a 2010 Rolls Royce Ghost https://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/2010-rolls-royce-ghost-31-600x442.jpg For only N22m, yes only N22m bargain of the year! it's right hand drive, but I'm sure Siena will be able to convert for a nominal fee, Quickly O! this will go fast!! First N100,000 deposit secures. Please send deposits to my Western union account |
Applogies OP has sent me pictures of the X5 in Question I have however knocked down the price to N1.2m, does anyone know a good panel beater? |
in spite of the fact that we all know perfectly well that if it looks like a pig and smells like a pig it's probably a pig, I bet there is at least one person on this forum who has called this guys number, Anf that ladies and gentlemen is how fools and their money get parted. |
Feel free to pay them with multiple smaller chequesI would say you didn't have a clue what you're talking about, (hint, a chq transaction isn't a cash transaction) But on a more serious note, please explain to me how this makes policies more effective. Bearing in mind that nowadays virtually all large scale fraud is done via the eletronic bank transfer systems that the central bank are touting. Or do you think that people walk into a branch with a chq for N1billion and cash it. |
Typical nonsense IMO, big words that don't mean anything. Seeing that banks will check with issuers for chq's of large amounts if you ask them to, I really don't see the point. Like most businesses I tend to pay my suppliers by chq's and get paid by chq as well, why must I raise a draft at (extra expense) for every transaction over N10m? Could anyone tell me the advantage? |
Haba, N2.5m, I can buy, airfreight and clear a 2009 big bang R1 for that. |
Here's the spec:VIN number pls and how many kilometers on the clock? |
That picture of the Okada air planes is a picture of Nigeria, what kind of mad evil money must you have to allow planes to fall into disrepair like a Peugeot 404. When I do my coup, the firing squads will work overtime |
Gestapo you should know by now that sarcasm is wasted in this forum |
because Nairaland doesn't want you to "become rich" either that or you can't spell (which looking at your title, ) |
Oh yes, I also believe that Elvis is still alive and I will win the lottery tonight (without buying a ticket) |
I'm not a potential buyer, However if I was spending N5.5m I would expect the car to be gleaming. A bit of soapy water and some elbow grease would present this car in a much better light, the Phaeton deserves it. |
Re: Sultaan,oyenit1, Don't Write Anything On My Threads Againfriendl and friends I propose we rename this forum to "Don't pour sand in my gari, even though I may be misrepresenting the car I have for sale" Forum |
