This is 2024!! Common sense is not so common these days I guess. |
See why you shouldn't live your life to please others? She should have listened to her closest support group instead of seeking validation of people who care less about her existence except being social media bullies and trolls. |
All you need to understand that Nigeria is a good place is when you become stranded in Europe without a shelter or job to earn a living. The biblical prodigal son is our witness. |
How TOXIC can a frail old woman be at 80 years of age ? Adding AGGRESSION to the mix makes this case suspicious. |
Up until the start of the tournament, the team and her coaching crew gave Nigerians course for concern. Even the president could not hide his contempt on the teams performance at the start of the competition. Something inexplicable suddenly changed in that team and they have been on fire ever since. |
It's exhilarating to know that we have a predictable super Eagles team once more. |
Cost of doing business in Nigeria is at an all time high already. Increasing the exchange rates for cargo clearance will only add to the already volatile prices of finished goods in the market. I wonder why government is on one hand compelling banks to sell off excess FX in their vault to stem the abysmal fall of the naira while and on the other, arbitrarily increasing the FX rates for cargo clearance? Government has joined the banks and BDCs in speculating and fixing FX rates inimical to the "resurrection" of our dear NAIRA. This policy will definitely work against the desired economic salvation we thirst for. |
mikeapollo:You should have politely asked me for the source of my assertion instead of throwing needless jabs which I will not accord you reciprocity. The descenting voice of shatta wale in the tabloid attached is against BAN as advocated by several Ghanaian artists who feel that Nigeria music is eclipsing their shine. They were advocating a STOPPAGE of foreign music (but the emphasis was on Nigeria music) from December last year on both TV and radio airwaves and worse of all - Dance halls. The NBC rule in Nigeria only reduced foreign music to 30% while local content is 70%. No law governs whatever a DJ wants to play in a dance hall. Yes, the world of music revolves around Nigeria not only because of our A-List artists but also our sheer market. If Nigeria is not pivotal in projecting African music, do you think that American music icons would have been falling over one another to jump on collabos with us? The truth stares at you in plain sight, you either accept it quietly or burn with envy.

The spoils of office is too grandiose for any aspirants not to forment trouble during our kind of democratic electioneering. If it was all about service, there won't be the need for such admonition. |
These ones are hungry kidnappers from the local area. With little effort by our law enforcement agents, they will soon be in jail. |
There's no way she could have evaded our NAFDAC agents at MMIA with those 2 "mudus" of cocaine heaped in that manner except there was collusion and connivance with relevant authority. |
She's deluded. Destroy What you can not get is her motto. |
Since she supported Asiwaju with her "full chest" during the campaigns, she should be open to explaining to the people she influenced why the economy is playing "Fuji garbage" instead of "Akpala" music. |
Even Elon musk plus Jeff Bezos combined wealth is not up to a trillion dollars . If PO has such amount, then it's obviously not gotten from our economy. |
Interesting time ahead . Our economy is overheating like the Fukushima nuclear reactor following the 2011 Japan earthquake. The Financial regulator - CBN in several botched attempts at cooling down the economy has continued to blame every market player in the FX market but itself. Firstly, they said Aboki FX was the major culprit for the abysmal performance of the naira, then they went heavy handed on BDCs. When those didn't save the plummeting naira, they blamed us for hedging against the naira by buying dollars to save under our beds. They have banned and unbanned some 43 items they are confused if they are actually draining our dollar reserves. Today, they have descended on our deposit money banks warning them to reduce their FX liquidity to only 5 Billion and sell off the rest to them. The other day, they were paying off huge FX backlogs up to the tune of 2.5 billion dollars so far, yet the nation thirsts for "Benjamins" to carry on its basic functions. Show me a MAN who spends all his remuneration paying "Gbese" and leaving the house to suffer want, and I will show you a FOOL. I see an institution (CBN) clutching on straws as it drowns in the river of gross incompetence. We labeled some NLanders pessimists when they predicted that the naira will hit 1500 to the dollars. It didn't take 3 months for it to come true. I humble suggests that Ms. Hadiza Bala (Asiwaju's class monitor) pencils the finance minister and Cardoso as the first to be shown the door for not meeting the nation's expectations. Let's remind ourselves of the definition of INSANITY once more: Doing the same thing over again and expecting a different result.

See people that are planning to ban Nigeria music on their airwaves. A good product they say , needs no advertising. |
The force PRO is waiting to hear from you! |
The Nigeria police force is a beehive of corruption. Any reforms to sanitize that anathema of an institution may lead to the expulsion of over 80% of its personnel. The slogan "the police is your friend" is just a mockery on our sensibility |
This is sacrilege that must be avenged. |
Camouflage uniform that people wear for fashion or resistant statement in civilized clime. Our military are just too sensitive in matters that pertains to their uniforms. One time they wear dragging jersey with the the police mobile force, then it shifted to forest guard and the last time I remembered, it was with one amorphous security group trying to attain national prominence but had to be stopped by the courts. In 2015, our defense headquarters even banned paramilitary agencies from using camouflage which has today been liberalized to the extent that Super eagles even have a VARIANT. If not that Nigerians with criminal minds have taken advantage of people with the uniform, what's so special about the camouflage that the military is quick to assault civilians for? |
Nice advice but it came to late. The national slogan for this year as you know is " BO GREE FOR ANYBODY" The army, police and even CAF has adopted it already. Even the Dollar is not agreeing for our naira. Seriously, I share your sentiments. |
Damage control. Oga is disowning the group because of the backlash it has received from all quarters and the taking into custody of their notorious leader. |
Asiwaju is On top of which of the situations bedeviling the country? This Bayo Onanuga must have lost touch with reality to be defending the indefensible. |
And the guy is driving so "calm and collected" as if nothing happened? His conscience is stone dead indeed. |
These herders must be on some hallucinogens to have such effrontery to even kill farmers whenever challenged for their invasion and destruction of farm produce. I wonder why they are opposed to ranching but prefer their medieval nomadism which clearly has put them at odds with most aggrerian communities. |
opamoses1:True talk. Thanks |
Honesty pays on the long run. Some charlatans will see it as the Lord's doing , withdraw everything, pay tithe to implicate their pastors and then land in EFCC cage. |
Nigeria does not have crude oil to sell to Dangote. Our crude at 1.3mbpd has been encumbered by various agreements the government entered with our several creditors and joint venture partners. Asiwaju just 2 weeks ago secured a 3 billion dollars loan from the Afrexim banks securitized with our crude oil. Furthermore, it's said that the American crude oil grade is even cheaper than Nigeria's. Also, to ensure the refinery runs non-stop, he had to secure oil from more reliable sources since Nigeria's production is at the vagaries of Niger delta militants and pipeline vandals. |
Remembered that day okwaraji (with his trade mark dreads) slumped on the pitch of the main bowl of the national stadium like yesterday. It wasn't until the next day on Radio Nigeria 7am news that we got the rude shock that he passed on. (Those were the days of only NTA and FRCN) I for one will be the happiest if Nigeria can whitewash the Angolans in our quarter final match come Friday. Our victory will be dedicated to Samuel Okwaraji. Wishing the SE God's speed. |
Kai! This man's excuse for divorce is so lame! He should tell us the real reason for divorcing his wife other than being used as a Special purpose vehicle by the wife. |
aylagos:I can see you are devoid of scruples and incapable of cerebral conversation without recourse to the barbarism prof. Soyinka talked about. “I don’t deal in social media. As far as I’m concerned, barbarians have taken over social media and they have swapped the intellectual quotient which used to make and still make social media valid in other societies. Here in this country, social media has been dragged down to the lowest common denominator" ........... Whole Soyinka |
pak:I love your analogy. That's what most of the people throwing jabs at me fail to decipher. I understand that some of them are" jonses" looking for likes. I appreciate your input. |
