Their effrontery is legendary. The force has their work cut out for them. These are potential kidnappers and armed robbers. |
Another stream of income. One stream of income can hardly carry any Nigerian these days. Inflation has weakened our purchasing power and made nonsense of our monthly remuneration. Kudos to him |
Hmmm! I often wonder the essence of gun shots with traditional rites in this country. Such incidence would be happening for the umpteenth time yet we refuse to learn. A needless waste of lives. |
This one is a lost soul. Pressing the male "mumu button" and winding his ego. She's just looking for a man to kill. |
These ones are still "Learning work" Their Nigerian counterparts would have used a special purpose vehicle(SPV) to wire those funds to the cayman islands "tey tey" or call one Aboki to shrink those " tissue papers" into "Benjamins" for easy storage in septic tanks or overhead water tanks. Infact, some may even look for the richest man in the land and launder the amount into his chain of companies |
Birds of a feather..... |
300 million excluding the land |
The gods are indeed angry! The economic realities in Nigeria knows no friends or foes. The people who "grabbed and ran away" with our mandates have monopolized the national cake to themselves and their cronies leaving us to debate their exploits in fora like this. Billions are being pillaged from our common purse daily while the people are promised "HOPE" in a renewed format. |
Nice advice. "What money cannot do, more money will do it" VDM should do well to monetize his popularity now that the ovation is loudest. |
You recovered ordinary 2 million naira in this economy from travellers and tagged it as being used for gun running? Since you had credible intelligence, why not trail them until you catch them with the evidence? This case will definitely suffer "miscarriage" in court |
Olodo abi na Ododo has been handed a cabinet he didn't even shy away from unveiling on his inauguration to deceive the gullible into thinking he's hitting the ground running. Jungle go soon mature |
They are only denying the obvious just like they were caught pants down trying to secretly bury end SARs victims. School is now a scam with such thinking. With the teeming number of qualified lagosian to be deployed for such job, it's the uncultured agberos that comes to their minds. God have mercy "uponus" |
Barbarism at its peak. How does killing a human and harvesting organs translate to wealth or power? We have a litany of people who claim to have done such and ended up in despicable situations. Can't they learn from them? All these our 500m churches and mosques really have their work cut out for them. Anyway, some of them are even established on such ritualistic foundation. The perpetrators of this dastardly act can never go unpunished in this life. Nature or nurture awaits them at the nicest of time. |
Since!! I thought autopsy was concluded on this case a long time ago. They family must have gone through hell as the body laid unburied. |
This may not be far from the truth. The police as an institution abhors such behaviors from its officers but the blame goes to them all the same for their poor recruiting standards and monitoring of officers living beyond their pay grades. I also find the banks culpable if not outrightly complicit in the ongoing kidnapping scourge especially the fintechs. |
That assertion is not wholly true. We've had well resourced artists and professionals also suffer in relationships. The issue is deeper than financial resources which can not on its own discountenanced. |
The apex court of the land has spoken. Cc DHQ DSS NCS NPF NIS |
E no easy o! With a mother like this, do we expect him to listen to one babe yarning dust tomorrow? |
Judicial flip-flops . Anyway, the apex court has put paid to all confusions surrounding his escape to exile. |
I really sympathize with our lectures over their poor remuneration and work conditions. The government has reneged on agreements entered into with ASUU negotiation teams on countless occasions thereby pushing them to deploy the only language that government understands- STRIKE. I must commend them for their patriotic disposition to the learning of our undergraduates even in the face of abandonment from the government. |
We are our own enemies. Imagine these ones scheming by deceit to impoverish another hustling man like themselves. They will be the first to cast aspersions on the president. The change we wish to see in Nigeria should start with each one of us. |
What she did was a grave sin again a revered music icon and the music community. Her male counterparts like wizzy, 2baba, Burna boy and even Davido given this opportunity would have been on the floor. She really needs to follow up the apology with an offering I swear. |
As a Yoruba lady herself, she should have done the needful that is expected of her. King sunny Ade is not only a legend but an Oracle in the music world where she is just a FOETUS and must be accorded his due respect. I'm not of the Yoruba stock but I would not in my wildest dreams meet with Baba and remain on my legs. |
KillahPriest:Your brashness in matters that demands intellectual exercise is most glaring and noted. You think the Fulanis are only terrorizing the middle belt and southern parts of the country? The north is bearing the heaviest brunt of their atrocious campaign as farming communities have either abandoned their trade or have to cough out millions in "protection money" before being allowed to harvest their farm produce. I think you dwell more on roadside gossips to be able to make a clear distinction between Hausas and Fulanis. Your assertions is a clear negative indicator of the effects of Buhari's removal of history from pre-tertiary schools curricula. I pity your generation walahi!! |
Let's not confuse the Fulani ethnic group with the Hausas please. The Hausas are also on the receiving end of the Fulani malady (farmers -herders clash) and they are mostly agrarians. It's the Fulani's that are mostly nomadic and deal in animal husbandry. The Fulanis are only bluffing as there are boundless substitutes to beef. |
The post is a fusion of conspiracy theory. If she had given the testimony like she did and didn't take any cookie from the cookie jar, would Asiwaju have ordered her suspension? My response to the op is that Betta broke the hedge, and a serpent bit her. QED |
Obierika:The catchment area for any park is not just for the locals. If the park is good, people will come from contiguous states or even beyond. The Disney we talk about gets visitors from all over the world don't they? It's mediocrity that has kept Nigeria in this state. Until we strive for the best, we won't attract the best. |
CommonSense1967:If you aim for the stars, you just might find yourself on the moon. Where there is no vision, mediocrity is pervasive. |
Ohraykon:The idea of the park is a copycat of what we see from other cultures and climes. See who is talking of inferiority complex and yet calls traveling out of Nigeria a breakthrough from God. We continue to wallow in pitiable mediocrity because of the kind of mindset you are exhibiting. If the government must create a fun park, it must go the whole hub rather than the halfhearted attempt at it which is still commendable but needing upgrades. There is nothing like "Nigeria standard" |
The naira will continue to take a beating until we genuinely head to what all experts have agreed as the panacea to our economic emancipation; DIVERSIFICATION. Our economy can not continue to be tied to the volatility of oil market which is beyond our control. Also, the cost of doing business in the country is so high and demoralizing. Most SMEs are being stifled with duplicity of taxes and having to provide almost all the basics needed for growth thereby cutting into their ROI and making locally manufacturered goods more expensive than imported ones. Little wonder multinationals are divesting from our economy. The government agencies charge with the responsibility of policy formulation must roll up their sleeves and get to work. Enough of baseless statistics and growth projections while the naira continues to plummet. |
