Is this a tech joke or what? |
Which species of clarias did you call it? Are you referring to Clarias gariepinus? |
Why don't you try it to enlighten us further? We could all benefit from the knowledge of it. I am just hearing of a CI module for the first time and apparently it must have been at the back of our TV sets these while |
As someone who served in Akwa Ibom state, I think all the facts highlighted are true and applies too. The development is only concentrated in specific places in their states. Let's pick somewhere like Osun or Ondo for example, these states have much 'life' in the capital but other parts are not dead zones as it applies in the South South. Their love for education is also alarming. I wonder how they think without education, anyone can make much headway in today's economy. When yoruba single ladies are doing masters and PhD, their ladies are more interested in marriage and beauty. Their unenterprise is also baffling. I once entered a restaurant on Monday afternoon in the heart of Uyo and they only had garri (eba) on the menu but no meat/fish. I felt like cursing the woman. When mama put in Lagos can boast of 8-10 different foods on the menu before 7:30am. Don't you even think of getting recharge cards from street vendors at this time. I wonder why they do not imbibe the enterprise spirit from their igbo neighbours. |
Meanwhile in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state where the best stadium in Nigeria is located, they mounted giant outdoor TV at plaza, the city centre to transmit whatever is going on at the stadium. I think they had a foresight of this scenario. I recommend that these abokis take a cue from that. |
VickyRotex:Be correcting English there, alaakowe. Someone of her net worth can add new words to the dictionary even if it came out incorrect. |
Poor soul. After killing him, they are deciding to immortalize him. Rather shameful he had to be the sacrificial lamb. |
Mr Ambode, you are the one that will take your own bare hands and spoil Lagos. You collapsed Igbo's shops, you sent Hausa marketers away, and now you are proposing to drive away Okada riders. As far as I can tell, the Okada's know their boundary on major express roads as you barely see them. If you go to neighboring Cotonou where there are more bikes than cars, you would know that it's possible to modernize and live in harmony with the usual. The best thing I suggest that you do is to create routes for Okada's like they do in Cotonou and enforce the use of helmets for both riders. In fact, a route for Okada's alone will ensure people get to office faster. |
I need a constant supply of glossy paged magazines of past circulations for a social project. The types of Ovation, Thisday Style, Vanguard Allure etc. Please get across urgently if you have any leads. Thanks |
texazzpete:Leave them to it, for it makes them feel good. I think the ones from Imo understands things better, I heard they once blocked the state government from building an hotel. People are yet to realize how serious the state of the economy is lately, so it's best they feel it first hand when it comes upon them. |
This website is becoming rather boring, predictable and wildlife unfriendly. If anyone kills a snake, capture a tortoise or other animal, that would become a trending topic for the day. I hope your competitors won't follow the same trend, cos it's disgusting. |
While we embrace the prospects of the nuclear technology, we must however proceed with caution. The image of climbing a plane with ladder at an airport is still fresh in our minds, and if that were possible, we could be shoveling radioactive uranium with bare hands some day. If the government must proceed with this plan anyway, I will recommend somewhere like Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi or Katsina, but never in my own backyard. Hahahahaha ![]() |
It is unfortunate enough to have to pass through the Nigerian tertiary education system. You will have to experience cramped lecture halls, inadequate facilities, prejudiced lecturers, and worst of it all, you will be lucky to escape with low grades to battle for your career in a messed up economy. |
This stu.p1d Ameachi forgets that he he now a minister of the Federal Republic. Still dragging Rivers state politics with the contenders after all these years. Every day, people keep dying on the roads, yet we are yet to witness a single breakthrough from his office. Like Buhari, like Ameachi, bunch of fakezoos |
When countries around the world are outsourcing production to China, Mexico is outsourcing hard drugs to Nigeria. This collaboration scares me silly! |
Meanwhile our navy kill crocodiles with guns and our foot soldiers can be disarmed by unharmed, protesting women. What is even more beautiful about these guys is that they never maltreat their civilians irrespective of these though trainings, I believe. |
They voted you in because you were going to be their messiah, forward few months, one story or another keeps springing up. Few weeks from now, NYSC will release corp members into the job market, ready to join their colleagues. Meanwhile there has been no single recruitment across govt parastatals in this regime. They keep recovering stolen funds here and there and BVN keeps revealing multiple ghost workers, yet the arithmetic is not working out favourably for the country. |
...So they could further contribute their own quota to the rot we face today right? For one thing, Fashola is teaching us daily, that excellence in governorship position does not dictate excellence in subsequent political leadership roles. I wonder how Nigerians still think their redemption still lies in any political candidate. We had better relinquish our independence by reintegrating back to Britain, contract the country to a private sector to rule (e.g Google) or divide as regards popular notion if we really want to be sincere with ourselves |
That space is such a waste of prime real estate. If truly that middle portion of land we all see when we cross the River Niger to Onitsha does not flood all year round, then it should be made a five star off-grid resort with all enjoyable amenities to think of. Not a farm! |
Enjoy the pomp while you all still can. We all know it is a big joke, no wonder actors came to grace the event. That university will soon be scrapped, the moment APC assumes leadership in the state later in the year. I don't know how any right thinking administration thinks it can support 3 state universities, with other tertiary institutions. Wasteful bunch of people! |
I wonder exactly how the poor animal got to be a treat to national integrity. Anyway, maybe it is a secret spy from Benin Republic, as those ones have mastered animal espionage. Nigerian armed forces... Been clowns since 1946. |
; well maybe the artist really drew a mouse there and his village witches decided to do meeting on his career one day. Lol |
I stand with Idris on this one o, abeg. The girl is 18 years old enough to choose what she wants with her life biko. |
aribisala0:So how exactly does the government know the total declared earnings of Google Nigeria? or if exactly they are being truthful? What is to stop them from doing a business and demand their clients to pay to their overseas account? These oyinbos are very crafty o. I'm sure Google Nigeria did not open an office to count how many people use Gmail in the country. |
Igbo people are often disposed to playing the victim most time. Just because some groups of Northern Entrepreneurs are planning to revive a dead company in their zone doesn't mean it's a calculated attempt to slow down one South Eastern man's business. It's called competition and you should learn to deal with it. Last I remembered, Nigeria is a free market like every other maturing economies. Knorr, Maggi and Doyin are sharing the market with Chinese products for example. There is always Coke, Pepsi, (that funny one called big cola), lacaersa and local herbs, etc. All of them are hustling for their share of the market, so no one should feel victimized in my own opinion. |
How much? |

Where is your address/phone number |
Good for us, Nigerians. When they ask us to Buy Nigeria to save the Naira, we would bat no eye to such campaign. Imagine if the fishes were local species bought from our farmers who raised them, we could not have been exposed to such risks. Because we would be the ones to kill the fishes by ourselves, hence, wholesome nutrition. Many of those iced fishes were actually killed on the high seas since God knows when then frozen, packaged and sold to us looking fresh. |
magicminister:You are only just looking for a way to defend your selfishness. People can be bad, either rich or poor, black or yellow, Anglican or protestant. For you to say that it's only poor people that are disposed to doing evil is bias, unjust and unfounded. |
Imagine if Chisco, Ekene dili chukwu, God is good motors, ifesinachi(or how do you name it) and many other great igbo transport brands first determined to patronize their "brother" exclusively, then the charity would be spread to the South West. |
We civilians should feel really threatened about this news, rather than better protected. The other day, we woke up to the news of a recruit dealing mercilessly with a civilian that only complemented her. Imagine 100,000 more recruits entering the system, how are we going to be able to walk the streets? I'll rather they invest in drones and more advanced weaponry for the available personnel. |
