manny4life:I know you are defending your state and all, but it's just sad how you often get it wrong politically and strategy wise. How could a tribe so strong be defeated when just their access to food was cut off? Now when you ought to get it right, it's a lopsided idea that ensues. Though I am tempted, yet I would not say more like you are expecting, but I wish you could see better. |
omonnakoda: manny4life:I thought you two were rational people but it is obvious. I should have known better than getting down to your level. I don't have much to say again, as we all know how these things swell your ego. Taking chicken farm personal like kilode... I could carefully analyze how the idea may not be sustainable as planned, but why bother? Well, I hope you both have a good time wanking towards the idea of your modern chicken utopia. Some words are better left unsaid. |
omonnakoda:This is not Brazil, my brother. I am an agriculturist and this thing maxes out here in Nigeria in the long run. Check out other single produce agricultural projects executed by the government in time past and research on how they are faring today. Everyday is not Christmas that people will decide to eat chickens and eggs enmass. If it were complemented with fisheries, snails and vegetables, could have been a perfect project, given its location. |
I am sure the igbos would be so proud of this project. I don't know who advises these people to take decisions without careful thought. If the state had 15 billion to spare for agricultural project, why splurge it on just poultry? In these days of Lassa fever, bird flu and co, your farm is just one virus away from utter collapse. I am sure they just told him poultry is the most profitable agribusiness and he said oya now, let's do It. Anyway, I wish you good luck with your 15 billion naira poultry project because it's just what you need at this point, especially if managed by Nigerians that are known to be maintainance monsters. |
Oya now, Well-done |
What is this one saying? I'm sure it's what they taught you in Sunday school that people should not put lock on their phones. Please this is early 2016, so wake up and put all these nazi morality behind you. |
Please get off the Internet if you want to be righteous abeg and let us hear word. Like as if the more Internet you get helps you to visit more Christian websites and stream services live. Stuffs like these are not meant for people like you. Iraanu! Meanwhile to the professionals out there, please how can I get the IMEI tweak to work on my Samsung Galaxy Core? I tweaked the imei and it worked for one day, since then the Internet signal refused to show with the blackberry.net apn ever again. Please what can I do? |
Better not waste your time teaching Akwa Ibom peeps how to be entrepreneurs. I have been there, done that. It's just not their thing! |
How much are they being sold per one? Can you send to other states? |
I just stumbled on this interesting thread. Please who has the technology on the bag farming now? I am very sure of the soiless fodder technology through hydroponics in Nigeria. I have even gone for the training in Abeokuta this December. It is hosted by Bic farms Nigeria. Please any useful info on the bag system? And what are the contents of the CDS please? Can we also get too? Thanks ;DI just stumbled on this interesting thread. Please who has the technology on the bag farming now? This is just stupidity on the Internet. We are playing the game of police operational vehicles against tribes when in the real sense, we don't have adequate security for our lives and properties, no matter where we live. I won't be surprised if our senators will be deliberating on Netflix censoring this year because we are too stupid to canvas for the issues that truly affect all of us, even by ourselves. |
Hyeladzura1218:Send a private message to my profile. I will help |
Hyeladzura1218:It's better to get house directly as Cotonou people are fond of exploiting Nigerians. It's better you get the help of your fellow Nigerians living there. Get across privately. |
Hyeladzura1218:Remember that they speak French there, so it is not easy as an English speaker to get jobs like it would be here. If you can speak French, it would be better for you. Houses are according to your pocket |
omojesu202:Make a list of all the secondary schools within your vicinity and beyond, then do appropriate photography or soft binding. Mention that you can teach Geography at all levels in your application letter. |
Go and write an application letter and attach your CV to teach Geography at the top secondary schools in Owerri now |
Haters will just keep hating no matter what. Someone used his hard earned money to fulfill a long time promise to his God and yet you are busy bitting off the tips of your fingers. He never asked for your donation, yet these same people will not bat an eye when Olamide buys an Honda 2016 model for example. If you really want to be moral about social justice, go and make your own money then spend it taking care of the world's poor, rather than hate on something doing his own thing. |
tim26will:When you comment on the Internet, do so with wisdom, because you don't know who you may be referring to. I am only concerned about my fellow citizens as a concerned Nigerian. |
Are you an android app developer? |
I suggest the government should also create stricter laws for Malaysians living in Nigeria, (immediate indictment for expired visas for one) if possible, frame them up and arrest them so as to imprison them and use them for prisoner exchange for cases like this in future. We can't just fold our hands and watch our fellow citizens being hung at the gallows. Irrespective of what they have done, they are Nigerians like everyone of us. |
Thank God for increasing Internet penetration, Nigerians are now coming online to bring issues worth considering into limelight. From videos of policemen receiving bribes to aircraft using ladder to disembark, it would seem as if nothing escapes the all-seeing eye of the Internet. Stories of actual events by real people, not the biased view of a journalist are very vital for creating a revolution around the world. What does this offer us? We should not just sit down and comment on these matters and go on with our lives. We ought to push for government to actually consider all these matters like as if their time has come. I wonder why agencies like NEMA only respond to natural disasters and other unfortunate situations, but they never bart an eye when people are using ladders to disembark on a plane. They would be responsible for providing succor to victims of the recent gas fire accident in the East, but not to the fire mitigation department of industrial gas plants around the country to prevent a similar situation in the future. This only suggests that we are only waiting for emergencies in this country and not allowing them to teach us a lesson. Take the United States for example, they have put systems in place to prevent the replication of 9/11 tragedy, but back home, Boko Haram still bombed Nyaya Park twice in a year and tragedy occurred at both times. I recommend government uses the Internet to better Nigerian systems that are a shadow of themselves. There should not just be immediate response to matters that come to limelight, but even remote responses that shows concern. For example, the Bauchi Airport incidence should make us inquire if Jos, Minna or Uyo airport has functional airstairs and even spare ones in case of emergency. Imagine again how a sport official collapsed in Ibadan stadium, we ought to consider the health response systems of stadiums around the country. I hope we use the Internet to strengthen Nigerian systems for the betterment of all. |
I wonder how you think that obeying an higher authority when a whole human life was at stake was a greater priority to you. You had the chance to save that woman's life but you didn't damn the consequence. You should find a better way to deal with your guilt than this, because it is painful to us the readers much more. |
Almost everyone in Ondo state knows that this is perhaps the only strong point of Mimiko's administration and that is why it doesn't get so much attention because of it's singularity. For its oil producing status, Ondo State is sleep walking among other Yoruba states in terms of overall development . Fine there is a 'world class' clinic and street lights to power the capital at night, what has been the contribution to the citizenry in terms of economic growth and all? How many industries can we now point to? The University Agagu also built in his hometown is today a dinosaur among its class. I wonder why Mimiko thought that a whole medical University can be supported entirely by an advanced clinic offering unusual services. If not for our poor health systems in this country, facilities like this should be in every local government. The state University at Akungba Akoko has advanced so much to deserve the medical faculty, but no, selfish motives just won't allow. Ondo state people are never more United for APC's revolution this time. A word is enough for the wise. |
ZUBY77:I don't know how you could say we are better off than a country where the citizens would rather jump on an overcrowded boat on a journey with minimal chances of success to escape from. I can understand your frustrations with the country, but all I am trying to point attention to is the fact that rest of mind , a sense of belonging and the freedom of doing business in Nigeria can never beat a life of illegal economic migrant in any country. I like to believe in a place called home, no matter how messed up it is. |
ZUBY77:Gentleman, I think you are getting your conclusions wrong. Things are not that bad in Nigeria like you presume. At least we are better off than the Syrians as well as many other African countries. Alot of people are better off in this country and despite the 'badness', are living happily and in freedom. I wonder why you think that 1 day living indoors like a vampire or constantly wary of security agents can beat a day of hustling in Lagos. If all you hear and believe about Nigeria are the negatives and you are an illegal migrant, I implore you to change your thoughts and reconsider. You will not share these same thoughts when you are 60 and still where you are, believe me. |
So the management of the airport thinks we would just not bat a eye anymore with their supposed press statement release? This monstrosity can never happen in Cotonou airport, our close neighbor. It is so bad that an hausa man though it wise to pose and smile at the action. It will soon be 2016, the technology of aircraft stairs has been in existence shortly after the dinosaurs died. Keep at it okay. |
End time bird |
I should suggest to the president to adopt the dollar as the official currency as some other countries for obvious reasons. This will make good his promise to equate the dollar and naira, then end this unending assault on the Naira. |
This is really very bad. Harsh economic realities not withstanding, Ebonyi state has proven that the life of its citizens is really not worth as much. Could they not have focused on other cost saving strategies, rather than renumeration of the few overworked medical personnel they were privileged to have? I hope other states do not follow suit. This is highly ridiculous! |
