I should know why Nigerians are generally hostile towards Change. But warts and all, since when isn't surfing an improved version of Nairaland safe? Kudos to this next idea of Nairaland! |
How foolish that plan sounds? Are we fighting a country or the entrepreneurs in it? In as much as I don't so much like the MTN brand, I won't let out my bitterness over such a baseless, political standpoint. |
I don't and can never trust the Islamic agenda with such a sensitive platform. We all know where the allegiance of Islam lies, to win or crush its enemies. I wouldn't exactly be quick to therefore return this hand of courtesy. Jaiz Bank indeed! |
I don't know if the action of escape by the suspect would also qualify a street named after him in his own version of Paradise anyway, in his so called fight of an ''holy war'', |
I think we have all failed in our little ways at putting one block over another in building a great nation, through compromises and the despair of unfulfiled expectation. Granted the state has failed us at providing expected structures and systems, but here we are, poking each other with prongs of ineficiency. That is so tiring! Couldn't we rather do more with less? |
I'm forced to say what has been on my mind here at this post. I have been an avid follower of Nairaland Forum, not to comment most of the time, but to read and reason. I sometimes get emotional at the intellectual capacity of Nigerians that comment in this web portal, howbeit to hurl insults at each other mostly. These are the knowledge locked up within us that we could harness at useful ventures to move our country forward. I have seen military, educational, administrative and a myraid of other skills expressed through the words used to comment within topics. When we stop being reactionary and stereotype over sensitive issues, then we can watch our country arise towards greatness in no time. I'm so sorry my post is out of context. God bless Nigeria! |
Now we're never going to save the planet in this part of our world, since the fastest way towards that is to stop consuming meat products. Maybe our dear country will advance to going green and being animal welfarism conscious one day. Let us all join hands to save our world the Nigerian way. |
There's a website that offers The Bible in dramatised tone. They have about 500 languages as they claim, I've even listened in yoruba. It's so very cool, imagine hearing the majestic voice of God or those trouble-making pharisees, Job's friend, Satan etc. It brings The Bible to life, and also has background music. It has many versions all for free free FREE! pls download and spread the message. http://faithcomesbyhearing.com |
I do try to restrain myself from commenting to most posts but I beg to differ on this one. Now I think the individual that said "If Nigeria ever achieves uninterrupted electricity i will sacrifice my entire family . I can conclude that it is pratically impossible to see 24 hours of electricity in Nigeria." He rather needs to work on his imagination, otherwise, he'll soon be categorised with the ranks of those who once believed the earth is not spherical. The journalist ought to clarify himself further. We were at Kainji dam this afternoon for a tour, but we were prevented from entry by military personnel because of "Boko haram" |

This issue of free browsing on various networks/platforms with cheats{FBT} , can one view it as sin?and Why? Pls professionals, moralists, spiritualists and all others, contribute. |
When people out there in the developed world are already canvassing for animal rights, some moralist in there is painting his concept of mona lisa. It's shameful indeed! |
Imeela, Chairman. Thank You plenty ![]() |
biko 5 attempts left, somebody pls help. glo E156G modem with imei-359479031095980. thanks. |
Seems like this Chairman is not for real, ! I posted my mail, & to my shock, every tom and harry is sending me a mail. You better remove your add before it gets filled with junk mails. |
It's a good development. But let him know that he is not the first Nigerian to do such. Let's refresh our memory of Izuogu Z-600 (which was even featured on Wiki & BBC) Izuogu's brand was even cheaper than his. He had better grabbed every opportunity that comes his way. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-337922.0.html |
The acting president's 'imagined fear' is coming to life. I mean, as a minister of God, when the president sends for you, what do you do? Fold your arms and sit cross-leggedly beside your devotional? Don't leadership have spiritual implications? The most sensible thing the ministers could have done is to be silent, (afterall it is the last refuge of a fool and the first of the wise), I mean, what are journalists in this country paid for? |
Quite unfortunate indeed, but looks rather questionable, a visit to commemorate a massacre, and crash occured in forest, ? Well, about the negative perception of Nigeria on NL, is quite saddening. After almost all posts, one would expect some negative remarks. How can nationalism be sustained? |
Pls Sirs, who can help out with this messages I got on a desktop : 'INF file txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing' while trying to format d hardisk, & 'file integrity violated' on a laptop while copying files (which remains unmoved) 2 a flash? Thanks |
@ hackney so, do you mean there's no surcharging for ATM withdrawals, transalert and unexplicable subtraction from balances (or you-are-the-one-banking-with-us, so we-can-do-what-we-like-with-your-money) in other parts of the world? What more can b said, if after celebrating 20 years of happiness, now time to throw sadness into people's lives? What a mess. |
yes oooooh! technology for self reliance, the most advanced technological Institution in Nigeria. mind you Chairma, we boast of one of the best GNS Lecturers ni the Country, I mean not like your Old Lecturers ![]() wouldn't you wish you were a Futarian ![]() |
