3strike:I never mentioned brabus in my reply, have you forgotten that I asked some of your guys to also visit my site to give me quotation, remember the window guy. WTF Prayer stone from where ? Reason i ask is because I have heard about some bad prayer stones, not all prayer stones mean well or have good intentions. Would be interesting to know........... |
3strike:Wow Oga 3strike, I better ask them on site to look out for any Juju left over by the same person that you suspected, Since he's very fetish. Can I ask where they placed this one just so as to be very alert also. You can PM me if you dont want to reveal it online. I wonder if that white Van of his, same one that goes about stealing materials (cement, iron rods especially) is actually full of these cheap Juju as well, so as he's visiting all his sites, he's dropping all these his false, devlish and cheap torpedoes. |
brabus:Lol. Well, I was referring to you being locked up, you know what I mean now. no need to pretend like you dont understand, Abi you don forget that July morning, where you were locked up for defrauding some iron supplier, and you were offline for a couple of days due to being in detention/incarceration. Next thing, I think brabus said his phone fell inside lagoon or some silly shit like that, I will look at my chat history to see exactly what he said, he didnt know that I knew what was going on. Silly man. |
Happykay:Oga You have a good point sha. I dont know who elewe omo is, but the peller you are talking about. Is that Prof Peller, as a teen I used to hear about him whenever I was in Ibadan, he did some serious magic I heard. But I never see with my 2 korokoro eyes. Well as for Brabus, enough said. Sooner than later he will meet his waterloo.... Mark my words. Locking up in cell is just the beginning and na small thing, let God lead us into 2016. |
lastpage:Oga Lastpage Well done Bros. I was listening to a radio show the other day, and someone asked if miracles were possible ? Let me turn it around, Is juju a fact or fiction in Africa, using Nigeria as a case study ? It would be interesting to see what Brabus thinks about this, I know and heard he's very fetish and likes to plant calabash and palmoil things on people site.... |
3strike:Bross U don try. Pray Almighty God gives you the strength, means and will to complete the project. Amen. |
Oga Rushtec Abeg no forget me oo |
Oga, any kitchen pictures ? |
Hello Oga I have a question, why does the wall look like that ? Its like its not smooth. Also, what do you guys call the kind of wall whereby it has a rough like finish with the walls. |
EgunMogaji:Looooooooooooooooool Some crazy builders right. Maybe we should all send them a xmas card... |
unipol:Not a roofing expert, but just my own experience. What you will find is that so many people are just out there to rip you off. notice how I didnt say everyone. Best thing, go direct to the company and avoid any middleman. You will be suprised !! In my own experience, one man claiming to be from a well known roofing company came to my site brandishing a fake business card, came to measure the roof etc. He didnt know that I already had my own plan which was to go to the company direct, when I went to the company, I was told that his measurement wasnt thier official figures, and besides the guy no longer worked for them. So it would have been a case of dealing with a middleman or a wrong person, some people just think that one is a mugu or one is printing money under ones bed. Its just shocking that there are hardly any honest people in Nija these days... |
Still waiting for a reply.
|
brabus:Seriously Anyone with a right state of mind would still consider Brabus / Nexthome / Bosun after all the attrocities. I suggest you do a search on NL or even on google. Puting finishing touches to the brabus banner, watch out. |
It appears that i am being ignored again Messages went unanswered Call un-returned Like i said I will need a resolution by 26th of December. |
Guys Excuse my ignorance, when doing pop upstairs where a roof exists, do you guys install like a plasterboard which the pop then goes on or how does it hang on a suspended ceiling ? Secondly, when do you introduce spot lights and how is it done ? In some western countries where they do not use concrete suspended floors, where they use plasterboard ceilings that are then skimmed (plastered) to give a smooth finish and also hide plaster board nails, what happens is that the electrician then uses a drill to make holes for a spot light, they then pass the cables into the various holes, usually a 1.5mm cable or so. You then connect it to the spot light base and then insert into the various holes. I just wonder how its done in Nija. |
So its brabusNG now. Let's go there, we will publicise it for you now. |
When will I get my money back for the approval that is not worth the paper its written on and i have asked you several times for the remaining drawings for ologolo, still no reply. |
When will I get my money back for the approval that is fake and i am also awaiting the other drawings for Ologolo !! |
Where is your office/show room and are you on whatsapp ? |
Bros You will.need to settle Lasbca Local government environment people material testing They all come and it's a case of negotiating and collect the number of their Boss. Once first one comes and u settle, once others a come, call the Boss of the people who called before to help you put mouth. This way you can get the figures down. They all work together and know each other. Also if you can get a permit it gives you some leverage. Also make sure you have correct setback. I had like 3/4 groups come to my site with all sorts of things. One said big structure (even though na my house small pass for street) Complained about setback when we had the correct setback. So many crap like that. The other option my friend used is to bring Mopol. He said if anybody show face na shoot on site and trust me they didn't show up. It just depends on how you want to play it. If you settle them as per option 1, you build up your connects and they can be useful later also. |
I would have thought LSDPC or the agency who sold the estate. Back in those days it was called LBIC/LSDPC. |
Federal C of O is only applicable in FG estates, there are not a lot of them or lets say less than 5% in Lagos. Majority is private land/omonile land and some few Lagos state schemes. FG CofO is only useful/needed if your property is on federal estate/land like say festac, osborne foreshore etc. |
Madam Gabby I have a question for you, the kitchen that you showed us the pictures. Were you the one who provided the gas cooker/hob ? |
Why would you say Nigerian born, and then on the profile it says born in Watford United Kingdom. Watford dey nigeria ?? |
Any info on the remaining drawings ?? |
lastpage:Oga last page Thanks for the explanation, me I no be engineer oo. That's why I was asking for our in house engineers to give us opinions. I like the idea of the mesh I didn't even think of that. I know a friend who used a mesh for foundation in lekki and I think using it for a kitchen work top support is even better and more cost effective. In your explanation you didn't say what will support it vertically, 2 ×3 hard wood, drawf pillar or blocks. Secondly if one intends to put marble or granite on top of it does the surface still need to be rough? What can one also do to the edges to hide where the 2 surfaces meet ? does one also really need to make any holes etc from the surface ? If well planned I don't think there is any need, remember one can have sockets under worktop so things like washing machine can tap current from there. |
Nice one Bro. I pray you deliver on this project. One question i have, when can one use blocks to set foundation and when do you have to do raft ? When can you mix and match, i.e 2 coach of raft and lets say 2 coach of blocks ? If blocks are being used for a foundation, do they have to be specially made for strength or just blocks on the street ? |
You are a good person sha. If it were others pepper soup has landed be that oo |
3strike:Bro. How you doing. I can't remember but I think it's like 30 or 50 know for a 1 phase but I know 3 phase cost like 70k. You will need to fill in a form and then get it stamped by a contractor. I was vexed at the cost of a 3 phase but apparently there is a way to do it such that you only need a single 3 phase and all the others can be 1 phase. I intend to put main or compound circuit on 3 phase which will power all communal lights/borehole/malls house etc and then all tenants will. Be single phase. Electrician said you can use a fat cable can't remember the capacity to supply your 1 phase from your master 3 phase. I was at adeniji a few days ago to buy cables. The idea is to avoid the cost of 3 phase meters all the way round. I will ping you my nepa guys contact. I'm happy to hear you are progressing well bro. |
EndiaSami:If i want one that would never rust, be UK standard and pure stainless steel. which would you recommend and how much is it last ? I dont care what country it is made, I just need something that can last for like 20 years. |
EgunMogaji:Yes bro. The ones they have thrown away in foreign lands. Lol The reason is that in foreign countries you cannot call a sink stainless steel unless it's actually stainless steel, same doesn't hold in nija where our importers sometimes tell the manufacturers to mix it with other impurities. The result is rust after some time. This is why the used one which is 100% stainless steel is better. Also there is a spray one can buy which reinstates stainless steel to sparkling shine again. So that used stainless steel would soon become new in nija lol. |
gabbytabby:Ok thanks Gabbytabby for this. When you say so far you put the iron inside the wall, I still want to understand what will support the weight of the slab. I know its not going to be very thick or heavy. I am just thinking it has to be able to support some weight, you know it will have microwave, pots, tiles/granite on it and any other kitchen paraphernalia. Also, not an engineer but I am trying to figure out what will support it, I see one option which is to have strong iron/pipe inserted into the wall and the suspended slab sat on it. The other option is to tie the rod to the pillars or something, but that would mean chiseling the concrete and iron bender using binding wire to tie a 12mm mesh like structure to it, It just doesnt sound like something straight forward. Our original resident engineers, please oo this is a question for you. |
