This is really touching. It shows that not all who ask for help are really fake afterall, only that the bad ones are many and have made people to always turn deaf ears to those soliciting for help genuinely.

Me I cant remember getting stranded cos I always have Plan A, B and C when traveling especially. If I'm short of cash, I may borrow before embarking on a venture or just ditch it.

I think I will agree with you here. Even after surgery, BP used to rise high but with the right treatment and drug prescription by a qualified doctor, it normalizes after a period of time.

I have been thinking about paying of tithe and I have been caught in between two thoughts, now is paying of the 1/10th of ur earnings to the church that is referred to as tithe only or paying that 1/10th to some other purpose which u feel more satisfied with..

For example, would it also be tithe if I give my tithe to someone sourcing for funds to treat a terminal illness?

- @Op, tithe is tithe, donation is donation.
- If paid to someone else it becomes a donation/charity giving and no longer tithe.
- Tithe is a commandment with specific percentage to pay.
- Payment of tithe moves God to do many things, seen and unseen for us.
- There are promises made by Him to those who are faithful with it.
- There is a kind of "peace of mind" that goes with payment of it.
- Pray to God to reveal or give you more understanding about tithe payment.
- The Pastors who failed to utilise it the way it was commanded to be used will face the judgement.
- The judgement is not for me and you to decide but is between the Pastor and God.
- May God help us all.

How the tithe should be used is clearly written in the bible. The reward or punishment for not complying to it by the Pastor is between the Pastor and God.
One of some Xtian's problems is that they rely on what they hear and not go extra mile to read/study their bible.
There's the need for us to mind our language when talking about the Most Holy God.

This really caught my attention.
Though I'm not a Muslim but I've had cause to discuss this issue of tithe in Islamic way with a colleague.
According to him, muslims pay tithe aside zakat, but there is a condition to it.
He said that there is a level a muslim faithful will attain financially that it became mandatory for him/her to be paying tithes.
Of course, its individualistic in nature. An individual may purposely neglect the payment i.e. in disobedience but, a believer will adhere to the commandment.

Anyone who knows the God he/she serves will give Him total and due respect whenever they are in His presence.
For those talking about where it was written, I believed they are ignorant of who this God is. There are lots of unwritten rules that guides our conducts, such as moral rules.
For instance, can anyone stand in front of PMB and be chewing gum? So disgusting and disrespectful!
If we can reverence a man that can be seen that much, how much more the invisible and all powerful God?
Let's learn to give honour to our Maker and stop all those si.lly questioning. Let's not be wise in our own eyes, justifying the unjustifiable.

@Op, waiting to see your reply on an important question asked: Are you the only one that missed the exam?

If you are the only one then, it might partly be as a result of your attitude.
How can it be that every other person got the info except you?
Does it mean you dont have even a single person that could call you when the exam was about to commence and you were nowhere to be found?
Since the lecturer says NO, dont complicate matter for yourself, take responsibility for your action, learn from whatever brought about the mistake and take precaution next time.

@OP, I'll advice you be patient first. Its not automatic to confirm appointment after six months. For some people, it could take up to a year plus before it could be confirmed.
Your employer reserved the right to either confirm, put you on more probational period or even show you the way out.
You are the one that assumed your work is satisfactory but your employer may think otherwise.
Dont let oversabi spoil your chances of retaining your job.
It might even be a way to test your patience or where your loyalty lies.
You need to be humble and work harder to convince your employer that you are up to the task.

It's not SON's fault at all. They approved quality products that meet standard. It's our people who are you tiles made for walls or bedrooms floors for toilets and bathrooms floors. Or, do they consult SON before using wrong tiles on bathrooms floors?

There should be a way to differentiate those tiles very clearly with warnings attached to it.
Those selllers too needs to fear God cause they love to convince people to buy the 'imported and expensive ones' all in the name of marketing and selling their products.
I think there should be more enlightenment campaign or advert from SON too on the dangers of using slippery marbles on floor. There are tiles designed for floor, people should always demand for this.

Some particular set of marble tiles aren't good for homes, let alone the bathroom and some people used it in their bathroom all in the name of CLASS or using expensive/sophisticated things.
I once visited a financial institution and had to be walking very slowly cos the marble tiles on the floor was damned slippery and my shoe wasnt the slippery one cos i walked freely elsewhere.
I almost fell that day and I had to complain to their customer care before leaving.
