It is easier to leave in western part of the world because of the protection women have. The wife would divorce you fast but would still be entitled to lots of money for child support from the man. But in Nigeria, the man leaves and the woman is left to care for their children alone. So finance is mostly the cross of the matter.

If our lawmakers are serious, they should protect women with child care support not N3000 per month. Alas! They won't because it will alter their estate too.
