hammer6F: On a whole another level, we Africans need to stop following the west and return back to our cultural ways.
U see Sister Linda, was pursuing the American Dream, now she is having a baby as a last ditch attempt to avoid wat be fallen others. i.e. Moyo Lawal, Rita Dominic, Ebube etc
The going age now for most women is 40years.
If dem never reach 40 years, start to dey go from church to church it is not time for marriage.
Let us collectively decide to return back to our traditional approach to marriage and family.
The years come and go too fast that before u know it, from claiming small pikin, u realise that u are getting old.
African way is the best. Marriage before 20 years. If they push it at least it end up early 20s finally and not 40. There was never a time African got married earlier than Americans or Europeans. African could be good at child marriage but the west marries once they are of age like 16, 17 to 20yrs |

This your government is wonderful,
See the way buhari anti corruption has reduced ekweme family to be begging for 200k pounds.
On a more serious note, why will the clinic hurriedly returned the money back to fg instead of the family.
The clinic should show the family the receipt for the returned of the money, because no money was returned to fg. The hospital management is not customer friendly. They are just afraid of scandal. It is easy to return money paid by the family and make use of the Nigeria FG's money |

NwaAmaikpe:

I can emphatically say he was a fake pastor that was why Fulani herdsmen could kill him.
Some things are not possible if you are a true child of God. It's just like saying that Bishop Oyedepo was attacked by Fulani herdsmen. It is impossible. GOD ALWAYS DEFENDS HIS OWN as he rightly said in Psalms 91.
1.He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2.I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3.Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4.He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5.Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6.Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7.A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8.Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9.Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10.There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11.For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12.They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13.Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14.Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15.He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16.With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. So what about Jesus and all his disciples that were killed? You are ignorant! NB: I shouldn’t have repried. I just saw your name. Sorry |

201320142015ob: I often tell people that life is not a Nollywood movie.
Bad things do not always happened to bad people and good people do not always end up happiest.
I learnt this earlier in life. The best students in my primary and secondary schools are not the most highly achieving today. Most of them didn’t even end up with first class in the University.
Even the first class students in most Universities do not end up the most successful.
Academic success is a little too overrated.
Mark Zuckerberg dropped out of Harvard to establish Facebook and he became the 5th richest man on earth. He is still in his 30s. Although he went back years later to tidy up.
Bill Gates also dropped out and he is the richest man on earth.
Virgins do sometimes end up marrying crazy philandering men, while some prostitutes do end up marrying men who worship them.
I’ve seen a woman who had several abortions but ended up having children in marriage when she was ready, while some virgins suffer fertility issues.
I’ve made up my mind to take calculated risks in life, and do what works for me. There’s really no almighty formula to success in life. If you see any opportunity, take it. As long as you aren’t making illegal moves and you aren’t hurting anyone in the process, go for it. Those guys you talked about are geniuses. They are academic geniuses. Do you know what it means to get into those guys? Forget they dropped out. |

This is one of many cases of insanity that happen to gain traction. I don't even know whether to commend the governor's wife. This is no way to run a state or a country. Systems are built to take care of governance not to single out a case and be praised for it. There should be policy implementation for social welfare and home.
I do not know why the writer is heaping blame on the community. Who has the resources to help the other? Create systems that can handle cases like this. We should learn how to judge others. |

Cordis92: Op, good for quoting some parts of the bible, but you forgot to quote Mark 14:21, where Jesus said "woe to that man by whom the Son of man shall be betrayed". But who is Judas?
We are all Judas. We have betrayed Jesus many times and those times we crucified him again. Many times we have promised to be good or do good, but many times we betrayed Jesus' trust. The “woe” is the curse being heaped on Judas by earthly beings. Lol. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Let's Stop Blaming Judas Iscariot, He Doesn't Deserve To Be Blame. by Mayflowa(m): 1:38pm On Mar 30, 2018 |
The stories in the Bible are actually refined. It is even harder for non-native to understand except you are a bible historian. However, God still work according to our understanding.
Yes, there is a documentary about Jesus: Faith, Fact and Forgery by Bible historians and some Priests. Judas Iscariot was one of Jesus most admired ally. Judas bears the burden and suffering of having to betray Jesus once he was aware. Jesus had confided in Judas his role in christiandom and he found it difficult to accept.
So he isn’t a bad man as we portray him to be. I think there is a book on Judas Iscariot that has been discovered. It told of the pains Judas beared in fulfilling the scriptures |
