It seems you work in a bank. Do you know how this affect charges for wire transfer using your naira account. I was charged 60,000 naira by diamond and first bank to initiate wire transfer to US.I was so pissed. Who does that?

Most national schools in those area won't require you submit SOA during application process. Only lowly ranked schools do. You only get to submit Statement of Account after admission when you need your I-20.
So Google Universities in California and Los Angeles. You will see list of schools. Check out their application requirements and you would be good

There is no issue with this. It is just as if you only went for your first university for masters and now want to use the masters to get a PhD program.

This is one good way to get a top university if you have a good CGPA. Top schools would prefer to see transcripts from US rather than international and value recommendation from US professor's to African professor.

You may need to seat for GRE again to boost your score. Texas A&M college station is a good school for science student. Try it! Goodluck

The rate and charges are two different things. Banks get the money they send for students (form A) from CBN even at a profit already. The sending charge shouldn't be more than 10k. I used to be around that. Right now, they are just taking advantage of the forex scarcity to inflict more pains

No there won't be any single issue as per the colour of printout. I used black and white myself. Even colour printout nor common for US sef.

This is crazy. The bank now depends on students to make their most profit from tuition payment. I do not know how an ordinary wire transfer would cost over 10,000 naira to process. The CBN should do something about this. I think I am going to write the CBN on this. How can one pay 50k to 100k to transfer money oversea. How much does Western Union charge for same service?

What exactly is the problem, months after the heroic command by the MD/CEO for NDDC to immediately pay tuition and other benefits, the commission has gone under the carpet and avoid any inquiries.

The CBN no longer restrict dollar payment for students' tuition. What then is there new excuse? I do not understand how a scholarship body expects her awardee to survive in a strange land for months unending without living up to their commitment. Did they forget they have this type of people under their commitment? Or they just went on to damn the consequences of their action. This is a shame and systemic failure in the organisation.

Very soon, NDDC letterhead would not be accepted in various embassies for educational scholarship. They are the only scholarship granting body in the world that do not match their word with action .
