At least, we can thank God that you read that Jesus said that no man knows the time. Keep wishing the Bible's wrong, i'm waiting for Jesus, go and pray if that bothers you.
It didn't happen, they are all dead, its a false promise. . .Keep praying, you will wait and pray and nothing will happen, the entire Jesus story is a fable just like the Mohammed story. . .Keep praying and waiting. . .Jesus said no one knows the hour and the day. . But he told his disciples he will come before they finish running round Israel. . .

Well, it's a better thing to repeat than to repeat ignorant statements like "What has the verse you posted got anything to do with this topic? you are here quoting from a verse that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic."
I didn't read it well. . .Still supports what I am saying. . .

Well then, your ignorance is by choice. One thing the passage proves is that there was NO SURETY that Jesus would return in the lifetime of His disciples, contrary to the phabuu you've been feeding us.
CONTEMPORARY ENGLISH VERSION
John 21:22 Jesus answered, "What is it to you, if I want him to live until I return? You must follow me."
John 21:23 So the rumor spread among the other disciples that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say he would not die. He simply said, "What is it to you, if I want him to live until I return?"
Jesus clearly told his disciples that they he will come back before they finish running through the cities of Jerusalem. . .He also told the chief priest that he will see him return from the clouds. . .I didn't say that Jesus did and it never happened. . .

In your face again,
Luke 21:7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
Luk 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Luk 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Luk 21:27 And THEN shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luk 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Luk 21:29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
Luk 21:30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
Luk 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
Luk 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

It is in the period, time, generation that these signs happen that Jesus would come. The events follow one another. The things\signs before and preceeding the second coming of Christ are yet to happen. Nobody knows when these things would happen, but when the begin, be sure that Jesus is 'near the corner' i.e His second coming BTW, not the rapture. Do you even have the capacity for this? smh. The generation that experiences the signs would not pass away until Jesus comes. And like i told you earlier, EVERY EYE WILL SEE HIM, including you mazaje, and your high priest friend.
He predicted and failed. . .He clearly stated that this generation will not pass without the things he listed happening. . .That was a big fail. . The generation has passed and nothing happened just as he told his disciples that before they finish running round Israel he will return. .Two big FAILS. . .You can lie all you want and spin all you want, the bible is very clear, he was referring to that generation because he was addressing a crowd. . .Remember they asked him when shall it be and he concluded by telling the crowd that their generation will not pass without the things happening. . .

How that's clearer to you than the disciples, the apostles, and christians beat my imagination. Take orrection, and beat it.
Correction or delusion. . .Did Jesus not tell his disciples that before they finish running from city to city he will return?. . .Spin all you want but Jesus promised and failed. . .

plaetton: excellent one and something to deeply reflect upon. Another one to reflect upon is why western countries do not teach bilbe knowledge in their public schools. The reason is quite simple. They cannot risk the damage that such toxic material could do their young who are their future. The have been there and they have done all that in previous eras. We should learn from them.

You do err out of true ignorance. How can one ask what John 21 has to do with what we're discussing? We are talking about Christ's return. It's real pity if satan blinds you to something so obvious. Here it is again.
"Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me. 23.Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? " (John 21:21-23).
This is clearly talking about Jesus coming again, i wonder why atheists are usually assertive on issues they know next to nothing of.
I repeat, this further supports my case, the verse you quoted goes like this from another version. . .

Because of this, the rumor spread among the brothers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say that he would not die; he only said, "If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?"

From the above we can conclude that people were already saying that Jesus told the disciple that they will not die until he returns, but the person writing the passage wrote that Jesus did not say that he said if he wants he can keep him alive till he returns at that time period(meaning his return was imminent and very close as he has told others to expect him during their life times at that period). . . .The bible is very clear, Jesus told many people to expect him during their life time. . .

Image123: I don't want the Bible to be true. It's true whether i want it or no. You're simply misunderstanding Jesus, the Saviour of sinners. None of the disciples affirmed that Jesus would come in their lifetime. On the contrary, it appeared that they felt Jesus would come back after they were dead.
"Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? " (John 21:23).
And i said there are christians currently persecuted in Israel, i didn't say there are jewish christians running all over israel. Stop putting sly words in my mouth.
What has the verse you posted got anything to do with this topic? Jesus clearly told specific people that they will see him return from the clouds, that he will return during their generation and that before they finish going round the cities of Israel from persecution he will return. .Yet you are here quoting from a verse that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic. . .The verse you posted supports what I have been saying the more. . .Are christians running from city to city in fear of persecution in Israel today?. . .Who are those persecuting christians in Israel today?. . .

i'm not spinning it, simply explaining it. It's up to you to show me/us that it is wrong. You've read Revelation, you've read Peter? They corroborate what i'm saying. You're only being narrow-minded because you want the Bible to be wrong. And yes, there are christians currently persecuted in Israel, and they'd not complete a run round until Jesus comes. Maybe you think israel is the size of your village or something. I hope emofine would not scream in horror when she sees what we've done to the thread BTW.
You are spinning it because you want it to be true, i have read the words of Jesus, and he was clear to his disciples, the chief priest and to the people he ddressed when he told them that he will return during their life time . .You are a liar if you claim that they are jewish christians running from one city to another in Israel because of persecution. . .Even the arab christians do not run from one city to another in fear of persecction in present day Israel. . .

do u know the origin of signature marks? let me help you out, signature marks is an aspect of branding to differentiate between different competitive manufacturers. but in this case we have only one GOD, only one Creator, He is not competing with anyone. hope this helps.
False, there are many gods, many people believe in many gods. . .There are competing theories and hypothesis as to the origin of the universe and life. . .Your God should have just made a signature to establish that everything was created by him so that every body will know instead of relying on people like you to do his bidding for him. . .The hindus believe that their pantheon of gods created the universe and life. . To the other two passages Matthew 26v64 and Matthew 10v23. These and such-like passages are pointers to the divinity of Jesus, His omniscience, and His personality as the WORD. He used words like He was the Word. His words in the gospels reveal that He knew the gospels would be written, and He spoke not just to one, but more than one, even to all.
He spake to satan while people around could only see Peter. He spoke to spirits while people around only saw sick folk. He spoke to demons and forces while people around only saw raging waters and the insa.ne. He spoke to Nicodemus in a speciality that speaks to every man till today, saying "you MUST be born again". When He spoke to his 12disciples and the high priest(as you suppose, not imagining that 'you' could be plural as seen in the Amplified), He was speaking to all INCLUDING YOU. Revelation 1v7 is more emphatic. It says "Behold He cometh with clouds, and EVERY EYE SHALL SEE HIM " etc including mazaje, not just the high priest. It's not limited to the death of the high priest. It's an event you will see, keep waiting. I Am

snthesis: Good , so we have defined a basis for your acceptance of a God.

assuming God did this and it was recorded in all the books of the earth, wanna bet that a few years down the line, people will refute his existence and ask Him to do it all over again. funny enough what you requested for is all around just as you requested, nothing added , nothing subtracted- verbatim, but will you see with ur eyes and believe, or hear with ur ears and understand huh

GOD proves his existence by the works of His hands - i.e the world around us, He created everything for you to believe in HIM, its so very simple. take a look at the creatures, the birds, the trees, the intricasies of life and be amazed at how complex but seemingly extraodrinary the thought process involved in making us and be amazed. start from the single cell and end up with a deep look at yourself, and be in awe.

lets apply some logic here- how do you prove the existence of a car maker? simple answer, by the products i.e a car. in other words a mercedes benz c class is a creation of the daimler benz group. The daimler Benz group is a God unto the Mercedes Benz C Class. the automation in that car is not up to a billionth of a fraction of the complexity in creating a single cell amoeba.
Benz have their signature or logo written or placed on all their products so that any body that see it will know it is their product. . Where is the signature of name of your god on any of the things we see around?. . .Where is his name written so that we can differtiate it from other gods that lay claim to creation or competing hypothesis like evolution and the big bang?. . . Assuming you hypothesis is true, why doesn't your God just address every body through a public speech and declare that he created everything we see around to end it all?. . back it the days when men were primitive we were told he used to address the whole of Israel through public speech. .

Question: tell us, WHEN shall these things be? mark 13v4
Answer: of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son. Mark 13v32
If you have good study materials, you may also observe that verse 24 to 31 is a paragraph. And that Jesus was referencing the generation to experience the events in the paragraph. How rational is it to state VERILY in verse 30, and then go on from verse 32-37 to state UNCERTAINTY if it's the same event and people?
FAIL, he was addressing a group of people living in a particular generation and told them that this generation will not pass before these things will happen . . .He said no one knows that hour, day or time, he was specific about what no one knew, that is the hour and the day, He didn't say no one knows the period, he ONLY said no one knows the day and time specifically. . He also said many time that the kingdom of God was at hand i.e close to its end. . Told the people that there generation will not pass before he comes, told the chief priest that he will see him return from the clouds didn't tell him the time and hour, told his disciples he will return before the finish going round Israel didnt specify the time and hour. . .All he said was that no one knows the day and hour, but he clearly told them he will return during their life time. . .

Image123: Thank you. Neither did He say that the period will be before His disciples die, or that it would be 2000years ago. He said it severally that no man knew the time. It would be contradictory to emphasize that He told them the time.
He told the chief priest that he will see him return in the clouds, didn't specify the time or date. . .Meaning the chief priest will be alive to witness his coming. . .He told his disciples that they should run from one city to another to avoid persecution and before they finish running he will return. .He didn't specify the date or time. . .

Mar 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Mar 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the TIME is.
Mar 13:34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
Mar 13:35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Mat 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Mat 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Hour there signifying period, not necessarily quarter to four or stuff like that. There are a dozen more scriptures that clearly state that the time is unknown, or if you prefer, undetermined. I would not bore you with them. Let's look through some of the scripture you've quoted though.

I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Mark 13:30
'This generation' refers to the generation that would experience all that is talked about in mark 13. Things like
Mar 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
Mar 13:25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
Mar 13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
These are yet to happen to the best of my knowledge. I'd explain the other two later, or perhaps on phone. My computer battery is down.
He very clearly said that no body knows the day, time or hour but the generation listening to him will not pass before all that he said will come to pass. . That was 2000 years ago. . Keep waiting for a myth that will never happen. . .

Where's your hope that I'd die and go to Heaven two days ago? Now, you come to mock me. I no fit tire to wait na, my superiors no tire. Plus Jesus didn't say it'd come back during the lifetime of his first twelve disciples. What He said was that no man knew the time, not even Jesus the Son of man.
Jesus told the high priest that he will see him coming from the clouds. . . .

But Jesus was silent. And the high priest said to him, "I adjure you by the living God, tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God." Jesus said to him, "You have said so. But I tell you, hereafter you will see the Son of man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven." Matthew 26:63–64

That was over 2000 years ago. . .

When you are persecuted in one town, flee to the next. I tell you the truth, the Son of Man will return before you have reached all the towns of Israel. Matthew 10:23

A lot of African's believe in the nonsense that is in that video in varying degrees. . .Some believe they are favored, so when they pray, sow seed and pay tithe(offer ritual) God will magically give them money. . .Instead of thinking of how to develop their human skills, invest time and money in better ventures, diversify their means of income, take more risk, people believe juju or christain ritual as advertised by modern day pastors will make them rich. If you know how the world works, then you will know that a good economy is what increases the chance of a person becoming rich. People living and operating in a rich and good economy have more disposable income than people living in a bad one(Nigeria and Africa in general). No amount of seed sowing, tithe paying or ritual killings will give the majority of the population money as long as the over all economy is in shambles. . .But because we are generally not educated, willfully ignorant and refuse to open our eyes to know how the world works, we keep holding unto magic and superstitious fantasies to better our lives and give us what we want. . .So far these superstitious way of thinking has FAILED us and will continue to fail us until we modify our thoughts and reasoning. . .

musKeeto: Thank you, Sir. You expressed clearly what's been on my mind for several days now. I' like to ask a question though; do you think there's hope for the Nigerian in particular and the black race in general?
Once there is life there is hope, but we have a VERY LONG way to go my brother. . .What we need to do as Africans is to acknowledge that we have a very big problem as a people, then try to modify our beliefs and traditions, you can not move forward in the 21st century with a 1st, 2nd or 10th century mindset. We need to take education very seriously and accept the new knowledge it gives or points to. . .No need fighting it or discarding new knowledge even if it contradicts what we "know" to be true. We seriously need to be skeptical and not accept everything at face value. We need to stop formulating lies to explain that which we do not know or understand . . .Then the issue of irrational fear, Africans are too FEARFUL, we fear too much. . .We are always fearful of imaginary beings trying to harm us. . .If a white european sees fire coming out from a tree(an unusual phenomena), he will wait for the fire to stop coming out from the tree, then go and conduct an investigation. He will want to know the source of the fire, the mechanism it uses to flow out from the tree and the tempreture of the fire etc because its not a normal phenomena. But if it is an African, hmmmm. . . He/she will run as far as he/she can from the tree without looking back while going about spreading he said, she said mythical tales about the tree. . .

Back in the days when I was conducting my personal research on the efficacy of juju, the existence of witches, wizards and their claims, 2 of my friends who got to know about it( these guys are college educated from UK and have lived there for many years) really thought I was crazy and demonic, because of the total lack of fear I displayed. . .They just felt it was abnormal, they personally felt I was in some kind of cult or something. . .They just thought I was insane. We need to drop all these fear, we also need to modify our beliefs and culture in order to move forward as a people. . .

Very interesting topic. . .What I have noticed on a personal level is that even the very strong european white christians are not like the average strong Nigerian christian. . .The average european white muslim even though they are very few, are still very different from the average arabic or Nigerian muslim. . .The people here truly know how the world works, hence all these mythical religions have been relegated to to the back ground. . .The religions have no use to them.

We are mostly religious in Africa mainly because of lack of knowledge. We TRULY do not know how the world works as plaetton has said, and we DO NOT want to know. We attend the best colleges here, we learn the latest skills yet we are still unable to do or contribute anything meaningful to our societies despite all the knowledge we have acquired. .We can not impact our society positively because of deeply held beliefs that we were conditioned to accept as the truth that always seem to disagree with what we have come to know or have been exposed to . . .We rather discard or reject new knowledge than accept it. . .How can a society grow and develop when they refuse to evolve their thinking and reasoning? The white europeans have evolved in their thinking and reasoning, they have accepted the new ways, embraced new knowledge and destroyed the primitive knowledge. . .They have build upon the primitive knowledge and moved on while we are still dwelling and reasoning like people that lived thousands of years ago. . .We refuse to learn about our own indigenous religions and beliefs. . .Refuse to change and modify our traditional beliefs, and prefer holding unto aged long myths and life styles that will never move us forward as a people.

I witnessed something recently in Austria. . .I still laugh when I think about it. . .Some crazy Nigerian girl claimed that someone cut off her hair while she was sleeping in her room, she went and reported the event to the pastor. . .That was some days before I arrived in Vienna, when I got there, the lady now claimed that a vulture appeared to her and vomited blood on her hair while she was sleeping. . . shocked shocked grin grin. . .On sunday day, I attended the child dedication of my host. . .During the service before the child dedication the pastor took the lady to the front of the church, shaved her hair , poured olive oil and the whole congregation was told to stretch our hands towards where she and the pastor were and pray for her. . .There were very few white people there, and I noticed they were very surprised at the entire event . .After the service my friend introduced me to a white couple and their friend as a friend of his that came from Denmark, one of them had lived in Odense before so we talked about Denmark and got talking about other things. When we got to the topic of the girl the married man talked about his misgivings about the whole thing, he was asking questions like, how did the vulture come into her room? Who else saw it? Where is the evidence of the blood? He said he believes she was either dreaming or hallucinating, he also said that the girl needs to be taken to a mental hospital for evaluation. . .The Nigerians in the church despite living in Austria accepted this story without thinking. .

I bring this up because I notice that the way we practice christianity in Nigeria and Africa is VERY different from the way white people practice theirs, we believe in things like spiritual husbands/wives, mummy water, juju etc and we always love the easiest way out. . .We do this mainly because of the lack of knowledge of how the world works simple. . ..We don't have the culture of questioning things and people in authority that is why a person like Adeboye will come and lie that he drove his car for over 200km on an empty tank and people will believe it. . .We do not reason logically in Africa and in Nigeria. . .That is just the fact. . .We believe too much in magic. . .

tbaba12345: This will be my last post : I hope we continue this discussion someday: because there are many other proofs of revelation.
Nothing like revelation, your claimed human embryology was not known at that time, showed you that muslims doctors agree that Galen and the islamic model are similar, said that no body knew mountains have deep roots, showed you that the book of Jonah written thousands of year before the koran was written mentions it. .Even the talk about the depth of the sea as the darkest part might have been known by people that predate the koran which i am yet to lay my hands on and show you. . .Ancient Greek philosophers have written and spoken about things they could not possible have know at that time long before the koran was written, thing we are just discovering or just discovered not long ago. . .Democritus for example suggested that there are different worlds and the the stars are worlds away from use. . .Not long ago we discovered that the stars actually have planets and are solar systems like ours. . . Remember he made this suggestion when there was nothing like a telescope existing. . .Did he get the revelation from Zeus or any of the pantheon of Greek Gods?. . .

If i chose one meaning: the excuse would be

"He chose the one that looked closest to that stage of embryonic development"

However we can see how a perfect word was chosen that covers different aspects of that stage;; It is part of the remarkable nature of this book that it incoporates all of the meanings of the word into the sentence structure and it is not not just here

the word choice astounds me all the time::: just one word is used to describe a stage: To me that is just remarkable::
Nope, the translated words which you claim are insufficient are giving very different meanings, each of them(different words) are then applied and used to dribble through in the name of explaining. . .In the real arabic context any of the different meanings can only be applied to mean one thing at a time. Nothing wrong with choosing the closest, but applying different meanings of a word at the same time is fraudulent. . .Any body can do this nonsense. . .

Even if you say, choose one meaning:: It stills describes something that happens in that stage of development:: The attempt to link it to galen is the biggest fail of the atheist narrative:: Even a 5 year old arab boy can see the difference in the words::
The first person to link it to Galen is a muslim so I really do not understand what you are saying here. . . .And its true, they are a bit similar. . .Even if it is in one stage that is the 4th stage which you deliberately left out of your listing of the Galen stages. .

I know you always try to find an explanation that excludes God: I think the delusion of the atheist viewpoint has been fairly evident here:
It is your delusion that is actually evident here, Actually the God did it explanation has never benefited any body, because there are many different Gods with different explanations as to how they either created the universe or make things to happen. . .

The attempt to try and explain the unexplainable is almost ludicrous, Conspiracy theories, unknown egyptian oral traditions; Greek deep ocean knowledge... comeon man!
Unexplainable?. . .There is actually nothing in the koran that could not have been written by people that lived at that time. . .rather there were many things that people that lived long before the koran knew about the nature of the earth and the universe that the writers of the koran did not even know about. . .

It's been fun

Enjoy your weekend::
Same here, enjoy your weekend as well. . . wink

tbaba12345: He never said Islam brought peace to europe: Adnan made references to the telling contributions of the Islamic civilisation to the european: And that is a fact: No one denies that.
Islam bringing peace to Europe and the entire world was what he said?. . .That my friend is completely false. . .

Olodo: the word is protected in the Arabic language: Tamida the word used is this case could mean to shake or sway: Sometimes the english language is insufficient to translate a word in the Quran and we result to sentences to capture the full meaning: Wrting a translation does not give you the chance to do that: so you select a word that captures the meaning best based on your understanding and vocabulary,
To shake or sway does not include is different from to tumble, no?. . .After trying very different rendering of the narrative and failing at all of them the new excuse is that the english language is insufficient to translate a word in the koran and you guys result to sentences to capture full meaning. .That is simply not true the english language is one of the richest languages in the world, richer than arabic, sentences are used here to add extra meaning and dribble around. . .Who now is the olodo?. . .

The Quran is only the Quran in the Arabic Languagr
Then why waste time translating it to english, since the english language is insufficient?. . .

Alaqa does mean all of that: If i favour one meaning over the other then id be dishonest
It can mean all of that but when used in context it can only have one meaning, it can not mean to cling and to suckle at the same time when used as a word in a particular sentence. . .

The miracle nature is the fact that one word can capture things happening simultaneously in the development of the embryo at the same time; Even during the linguistic analysis of the quran in many areas: one word can capture different ideas: a translator can only capture one at a time:
This is simply false and fraudulent. . .It is only muslim apologist that use this excuse to deluded themselves and others around them. . .Words with very different meanings when used in context actually mean one not all the different meanings at once. . .

All of the meanings here are straightforward by the way::

The embry clings to the womb, suckles blood and looks worm-like

Where is the dribbling there??
It is either the koran means the embryo clicks to the womb, or suckles blood or worm like when used in a sentence these are 3 different words, it can not all mean the same when used in as a word in a sentence. . .If that is the case every body can play the same game. . . William Craig used the same tricks muslims used for your Hamza and left him confused and exposed the folly of it all to him. . .He is very good at Greek. . .

tbaba12345: ^ lol:

He still won the debate and some of the points; you try to laugh off are valid:::
Sure how won't he win the debate?. . .Yeah religion brought clothing to the Irish and Islam brought peace to the Europe and the entire world like he said. .But isn't it ironic that the greatest cause of strife and war today is islamic terrorism?. . .

Different translators use different words to transmit their messages::
In that case it becomes the different opinion and interpretation of the translators. . .What then is the difference between the internal and external revelation you talked about?. . .They are all the same, any body can interpret or revise any chapter or verse based on his understanding of the way things are regardless of the original context. . .I thought muslims claim that innovation is a sin and Allah has swore to protect his word?. . . grin grin

There is a lot of pseudo-science by muslims on the internet but the one on embryology is right on all points it talks about::
There is a lot of pseudo-science done by you here was well. . .The muslim claim on embrology is NOT true and has nothing to do with modern embryology. . .It is ONLY a fraudulent play on words and nothing else. . .I can also apply this same trick you are using on the Galen stages and come up with the same conclusion or make it look very similar with modern embryology. . .All I need to do is define the Greek word osphus as
a. Hanging/suspended or clinging
b. Suckling blood
c. Leech/worm like substance
d. Blood-clot

For example, then make sure I use all the very different meaning of the word in one context, apply them to help me dribble my way through and at the end make sure that it agrees with the modern embryology. . .Willam Craig did the same to Hamza and showed him how nonsensical and fraudulent it is. . .

I have an early rise tomorrow::: I would respond to all your comments tomorrow::

tbaba12345: Hamza seems to defeat all the atheists, he has faced in debates: i wonder why??
Really? was he the guy or his friend that said that religion brought clothing to the Irish and that Islam brought peace to Europe and the world?. . . grin grin. . Interesting. . .He is surely "defeating" the atheist if thats him. . .

The translation used up there are from scholars not me:: the difference is interpretation....
Revisionist translation, no?. . .From shaking to tumbling to shifting with you?. . .How do mountains shift with people?. . .Explain pls. . .This is what you said. . .

And He has set up on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shift with you; and rivers and roads; that ye may guide yourselves;

The mountains are firmly fixed because of the roots (awtaad):: and that stabilises them and prevents them from shifting from their position... It is simple really

It is not simple because it says "least it shifts with you" NOT "shift from its position" as you wrongly said. . .That last part of the sentence is your own making. . . How does a mountain shift with any body. . .Pls explain. . .You can only try hard and keep failing. . It only makes sense when you look at it in the context of mountains as pegs to stop the earth from shaking. . .

I watched that video a while back and i can't see any owning::

Hamza is not a scholar,
Really, seems we watched different videos then. . .He is an apologist that throws anything to the walls to find what ever might stick. . .Just like you are doing here. . .

The worst one can say about any physical phenomenon in the Quran is that it is ambiguous, not inaccurate::
How can it be inaccurate when it is the word of Allah, after all the bible is also infallible and contains no error. . . grin grin. . .
Christianity Etc › Re: The Various Portraits Of God by mazaje(m):
tbaba12345: Haha!!! i was just a bit busy:: wanted to round off::

I will make it clearer now:

We clothed (kausana) the bones with flesh (lahm)

The word kasauna means: to clothe, to dress, to garb and to attire. It also carries the meanings of: to hang, to drape, to face, to line and to case. Further interpretations of the word include: to encase, to cover, to put, to slip and to give the appearance of and make look like. The word lahm means flesh, meat, or a piece of flesh or meat. (An Arabic-English Lexicon. Librairie Du Liban. 1968. Vol. 7, page 2492.)
Another fraudulent attempt. . .Just one arabic word with 9 VERY different meaning. . .All meaning the same thing. . .When will you guys stop this joke and dirty tricks?. . .Lahm means meat, flesh, piece of meat or peace of flesh?. . . grin

The word kasauna denotes the migration and aggregation of the myoblasts: which organise into dorsal and ventral muscles muscle masses surrounding the developing skeleton. These physiological developments are illustrated by the meanings kasauna carries, such as: to clothe, to dress, to encase and to cover. The word lahm is not just limited to the limb muscles but also applies to the muscles masses surrounding the axial skeleton.
From to dress, to grab, to attire, to drape, to face, to line,to case now to MIGRATE?. . . grin grin grin grin grin. The word kasauna does NOT denote the migration and the aggergation of myoblast because no such word exist in the koran. . .

Barry Mitchell and Ram Sharma explain the covering of the limb skeleton:

The limb muscles differentiate from myoblasts in the proximal part of the limb bud, and soon receive their innervations from the ventral rami of the spinal nerves. The myoblasts then migrate distally and soon become organized into a dorsal and ventral muscles mass surrounding the developing skeleton, carrying their innervations with them. (Embryology: An Illustrated Colour Text. 2nd Edition. Churchill Livingstone. 2009, page 24.)

That is exactly what i mean:
What has the above got to do with anything written in the koran huh huh. . . .

John Allan and Beverley Kramer confirm

Soon after the cartilaginous models of the bones have been established, the myogenic cells, which have now become myoblasts, aggregate to form muscle masses on the ventral and dorsal aspects of the limbs. These muscle masses, the relevant compartments, form the flexors and extensors of the joints. Rotator muscles are also formed so that flexors and pronators are related and extensors and supinators are related. (The Fundamentals of Human Embryology. 2nd Edition. Wits University Press. 2010, page 148.)

The process of muscular formation is not just limited to the limbs. Once the skeletal framework is in place, muscles start to form around the developing skeleton.
Only that in human embryology at the stage bones are not formed as the koran says but cartilage and the development is at the same time with other organs. . .

The critics

Critics of the quranic description of the developing human embryo maintain that the word lahm (flesh) is not the most accurate word to use and the word adlat (muscle) is more appropriate. This approach is insubstantial because the word lahm is far more comprehensive word as it includes muscle and other aspects of flesh such as tendons and connective tissue in its meaning, all of which are involved at this stage.
Now lahm does not mean peices of meat, pieces of flesh, meat, or flesh but just flesh, eh?. . . grin grin suddenly lahm now includes muscles in its meaning when the arabic word for muscles exist differently. . .Can you see how fraudulent you are. . .I am loving this joke. . . grin. . .

John Allan and Beverley Kramer explain:

Ultimately, the muscles and tendons become attached to the bony structures so that they can produce their actions across the joints. (The Fundamentals of Human Embryology. 2nd Edition. Wits University Press. 2010, page 148.)

This statement proves the imposition against lahm to be ineffective. Simply specifying ‘muscle’ would not be comprehensive enough to describe what occurs at this stage.
How can simply specifying musle be comprehensive, it complertely destroys your myth of embrology doesn;t it. . Its better to just say that lahm aso includes muscles so that the myth can hold ground. . . grin grin. . .Remember not long ago you said that "There r muslims that try to apply every statement in the Quran and apply pseudo-science to it, even when they are ambiguous". . .You my friend are a PERFECT example. . .

Conclusion:

We clothed (kausana) the bones with flesh (lahm)

The kasauna and lahm (the key words in this stage): the migration and aggregation of the muscles cells around the developing limb and axial skeleton, to form muscles, tendons and connective tissue.
Pls read the final statement and compare it to the nonsense you wrote above. . .By the way at that level of embryology bones are not even formed yet but cartilage. . .And the all form together simultaneously not one after the other as the koran says. . .try as you may but you can not force 7th centuary primitive science with modern science. . .
