lobell: There's a train station that takes one from the airport, Pearson YYZ, to the Union Station in Toronto. It's called VIA Rail on something. I would suggest you check it out on YouTube videos to have an idea of the terminal. You can also check online to see how you can book a train ticket to Ottawa from the Union Station in Toronto. I don't know how you can go around town in Ottawa because I live in the GTA. It's a four hour drive to Ottawa, that's like a distance of Lagos to Port Harcourt. Reach out for further questions |

Tripitaka: Even me at 44 play more than 2hours with young guys of 25 years of age every Sunday when I was in Lagos. I enjoy playing with them than even playing with people of my age. Ofcourse, most African players lie about their age. Mutiu Adepoju and Luiz Figo of Portugal played the fifa under 20, 1989, in Saudi Arabia. Figo went on to continue playing international football more than, say 7 years, after Mutiu had retired. Look at the sets of Mike and Taye Taiwo of 2005 FIFA Under 20 World Cup. Messi and Di Màríà are still playing top flight football, where is our own Mikel and Taye? 2 Likes |

NiklauseFred: Well, it depends sha. I live in Canada too, and I have been here for some time. As a Muslim, my wife as met some wonderful people at the mosque. The difference is that their worship center is not as it is in Nigeria, and I would not advise anyone to make use of churches populated by Nigerians, or own by Nigerians, it doesn't worth it, it is still the same Nigerian mentality, of trying to shame one another based on some vanities, like the cloth you wear to church and things like that. 5 Likes |

Redman44: My dear, you're wrong Yes, the opinion is yours and that's your take But let me tell you. Majority of us in Canada, Ontario to be specific, eat rich, natural Nigerian food In fact, I hate eba tonight, with okro soup, me and my three years old son How I wish I can upload pictures of my agege bread. Even in Toronto, you would find moi-moi elewe In my over one year of living in this beautiful country, I have not eaten all those things you have mentioned up there, perhaps except their fruits, such as strawberry, peach, seedless grapes etc, which are elitist in Nigeria. My children eat Indomie, and I mean Nigerian Indomie. We drink Milo, Nigerian Milo, Peak Milk, Knorr Seasoning Cube, Egusi, Snail and so on and so forth, Only if you know how many Nigerians that are selling all these things If you know anybody in the town of Milton, ask her if she knows Funke at Farmstead Road, believe me bro/sis, you'll find everything Nigerian there, trust me . There's also Sister Elizabeth, and Aunty Nkiru. Anything Nigerian, you'll find them at these places. There's also one Afro=Carribian Store at Steeles Avenue or so, or is it Main Street? I can't remeber Yam o, Ugwu o, Bitter leaf o, Kuli-Kuli, from GidiGrubs, we use it to drink garri, name it, they are all available There's Ola-Ola, Yellow and White Garri, Semovita, GoldenMorn, name it. Even ipekere and plantain chips So, you're absolutely wrong with what you have posted there. Ho, sorry, I forget to also add that there are Nigerians selling soups, different kind of soups and Nigerian Jollof in Mississauga and Toronto. I bought a two units of 1-liter bowl of Afang soup, and one of Banga soup from one lady in Toronto. She brought them to me in Milton. There's efo riro if you want, just order online. The Jollof rice we ate at Elizabeth's child naming ceremony was superb. It was prepared by a Nigerian caterer, the popular olopo By the way, Canada is such a country that cares for her citizens. It's not a country where anyone can just bring any kind of food and dump it there without going through the rigorous test to know if it's good for consumption and won't cause harmful effect in the long run. In other words, they practice preventive medicine. That's just the few I have for you. And before you say "they're expensive" remember we earned in dollars, so we spend in dollars, and government also gives us money back for our spending through tax returns, HST/GST, and through the CCB-Canada Child Benefit 1 Like |

Benesis: I totally buy your idea but with a slight change. You see, my friend, the checkpoint are necessary as a result of the bad things and bad guys on those roads. However, it is unfortunate that those charged with the security of the road users have now turned out to be the menace on the road. What is the solution? The solution, in my view, just like you said, is a total reform of the Police, and this includes a massive reform of their welfare package. The point I'm making, slightly differently from yours, is that the check points and road blocks, in many instances in the South, are necessary, but the Police personnel have turned to something else other than the initial purpose of setting it up |

rickyrex: Well, to be honest, it's your choice. But let me be sincere with you, if you live in Canada, especially as a single person, with tall ambition, bet me, you wont have time for Big Brother whatever. Your focus, especially if you live in Ontario, will be how to make the best use of OSAP, and quickly get an education, I mean the Canadian education that will give you the much desired opportunity to quickly rise in your career. OSAP is Ontario Student Assistant Programm. It pays eligible applicants $28k per annum to study. 20k is grant, 8k is loan. You can only get a maximum of four years in a life time. Ok, let's say you're not single, you're married, perhaps with kids, like me, depending on your profession, you'll work, minimum eight hours per day. And one bad thing about Canada be say, if dem employ you to just come work and sleep, as in, your job description na to just come work and sleep, you go sleep that sleep, you go tire and even beg say you no do again and offer to resign . No time for lackeys bro or sis. What I'm saying is you'll do your job, and the most interesting thing is your pay-day is sacrosanct, bi-weekly, no jupiter can change it. In other words, hardly will you have time for such frivolities, especially for someone coming from Lagos Nigeria, wey you know how you leave home- owo oni'ru, owo oni'yo , na Big Brother go come be your focus The least you could do is watch premiership on weekends or watch netflix on your your phone while transporting to work inside Go-Bus or Go-Train .
