NaijaGoingMaple: Yes I was, but that's that about it. Apologies accepted. You see this thing actually started on Monday. I was on tweeter and I saw someone begging a guy on tweeter to direct him to an agent who can help him on how to process Canadian PR, and I was like "what...in this age and time...with the amount of information out there?!" And that's why I've decided to help people on this journey. I'm not the type that get to the top and push the ladder down or take it away. So, I asked this guy to DM me and I'll send him some documents. You can't believe the number of DMs I had, over a hundred! And they were all appreciative. They never knew it's a DiY - Do it Yourself thing. Agents have jeopardized some people's chances because of filling in wrong information, my cousin is an example- wrong date of birth. For those that have sent their certificates to me, God willing I'll send everything, I mean the first batch, latest by Monday morning. Reason is some are having issues attaching the documents to their mail. So, hopefully they'll get it done by the weekend. Once again, my email is walebalogunk@gmail.com. There's nothing in this for me other than just to help. No be only me go dey inside this scorching cold . All of us must freeze together. Right now, it's minus 12 degrees in Milton, and I gat no choice, I must go work, and I don't drive yet. 50 Likes 4 Shares |

Oluwapomile1: Ask the guy that is trying to shame me here for offering to help people. I thought he said everyone can do it with their phone. You can imagine. He had better leave that kind of attitude behind at the airport in Lagos if he's to make any meaningful impact in Canada. I posted my email, without anyone asking me, and he was he do mouth like "ẹnu pẹpẹyẹ", saying "why should we send it to you when we can use hellofax". Mtchew. I never asked for money from anyone. I was going to do it on my own expenses. WES office is just some few blocks away from my former office in Toronto, and from the Stadium where I play soccer. 10 Likes |

The only help I can offer here is if anyone wants to send copy of their certificate to WES. Send it to my email and I'll help you post it from here through Canada Post at my own expense. It cost a lot cheaper and faster that way. Modified: I'm sorry, I take my words back. I've been told that there's no point since everyone can do it with hellofax 5 Likes |

crackkhaus: I understand your point clearly and quiet appreciate your insight on this matter and you really did a great job explaining the whole scenerio. As for the person you're responding to, you see, perhaps you aren't a ń igerian or you didn't grow up there. That's how nonsensical we are. We lack decorum when it comes to public discusssion, especially in the Social Media space. I also understand what he/she is trying to say but the obvious fact is he lacks the power of comprehension, so that'll normally make him happy for someone who is saddened by the turn of event. What an irony? It's like saying I'm "I'm happy for you for the loss of your father" |

My advise, from the comfort zone of my aboard here in Canada, is that we as Nigerians should in this new year focus our energy more on the local government, walahi! Like, who has ever seen the budget, income and expenditures of any local government in Nigeria. Some of us don't even know the names of our councillors or local government chairmen. We focus too much on the FG. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

I thought he would be on a stretcher And you all are here attacking one another with your N100 data... Walahi this people don use our brain do rituals Deji that was a leader of the PDP youth wing for so many years, and very visible and vociferous during GEJ's tenure suddenly becomes an "activist". texazzpete: Was Deji not part of the PDP sixteen years of misrule? I mean, what are we talking about?! How can he now suddenly become an activist, just because he's no more in the corridors of power. We allow these people to take us for a f***l. |

Ijaycool: You know, one of our problems in this country is our selective amnesia, or we pretend to be. Have you forgotten so soon that this same Deji was a youth wing leader of the PDP that ruled this country for sixteen good years, as in SIXTEEN YEARS. So, the health care was world class then, right? You see that's the reason some of don't take them serious. They aren't true activist in the true sense of activism. I don't know how old you are, but when activist are mentioned, you can only imagine a Fela or Gani. |

If you all think we need a Boko Haram to set this country on fire, on rampage, you all are wrong. Number one is the press; number two - Social Media; three you and I. And guess who will be the greatest beneficiary, that same USA you all erroneously see as the World Watch Dog. They tried it in 2015, it didn't work, GEJ busted their bubble with that historic call. Now, it's a religious war they want to use and we all are hailing yhem on. Continue! For your information, I'm well secured in here in Milton Ontario. 2 Likes 1 Share |

This happened to mine too, 2007, and I can't say it's normal even though people said it is, because the vehicle later over heated along the line and the engine packed up. So, always watch out for over heating, especially if you notice that the engine switches off on motion. Always watch your dash board. |

It was a playful jab actually, it is bloggers who are trying to make a big deal of it. I want to believe the friend recorded the video herself and didn't deem it offensive to share. Just like someone said up there, wounds from friends is far better than kisses from enemies. I had my fair share of this kind of wounds from my true friends, some of them had finished their degree, served and started working before I made credit in GCE. Today, we stand shoulder to shoulder, with so much admiration for me. The lesson: the first house in town, is not necessarily the best house in town. 125 Likes 11 Shares |

One the bane of this country, Nigeria, aside of corruption, which has been over flogged, is lack of a proper database of all the people living in the country. In addition, our undoing is trying to nationalize everything we do. I mean, there's nothing wrong if each state in the federation have their own means and method of resident identification exercise, just like the Lagos State Government is doing with the LASRA exercise. Just yesterday, I apologized on my Whatsapp status for being amongst those who antagonized and spoke against the LASRA project, because now that I live in the abroad, Canada to be precise, I now understand the importance of people profiling. Now, let me share to you how is is done here. You can't have access to certain public facilities and amenities if you're not a registered or certified resident of that particular Region (Local Government) or Province (State). And the means of identification, a very simple means of identification that you're a resident of that area is just your lease agreement, showing your house address and signed by you, your spouse and your landlord, or your bank statement, sent to the address you claimed to be residing, or your telephone bill. Otherwise, you can't have access to health care in Yaba, for instance; no school for your children or even you; no access to library; etc. Even your drivers license most be changed to your new address within 7 days of your change of address. With all these, the government can know the number of people who lives in Yaba and plan accordingly. Even your day old child is captured in your lease agreement..Na all of you rent the house together , so your name is on the agreement form, and also for insurance purpose. Honestly, I must tender my unreserved apology to members of this group for neglecting this forum all these while, since I landed in Canada since June. I know we were all in this boat together at one point in time . In fact my attitude has shown somewhat being ungrateful but that isn't the case really. I was only carried away and I've been very busy. You know, I've passed the excitement phase of the journey, and I'm currently in the depression state at the moment. You know, I've been out of job for over three weeks now and I mean we thank God sha. At least, I'm still able to pay my bills without qualms . So please pardon me. I promise to keep tab on the post and always find time to give my insight and advise on how things are being done. By the way, I think I've somehow active on the "Living in Canada as a Parmanent Resident " thread. Perhaps the thing got into my head . I'm sorry. So, let's roll it. Congratulations to all the PPRs, the CoPRs and the PRs in the house. 26 Likes 1 Share |

BlackAfrican: Truth be told bro, your best route through the PnP is to get someone to nominate you, and I know Nigerians use this to make money. Well, as for job offer, I can tell you in all honesty that that's going to be a bit difficult, because I wonder what talent or skill you have that isn't available in Canada. And that's what IRCC will ask your employer, and that's difficult to convince them. So, intensify your effort on the PnP route. 1 Like |
