DonHummer: those guys realy look muslimYou sure have a problem with the Muslims, don't you? I can see. Well, it may not be your fault in its entirety. Some bad eggs amongst us has given us away to this type of ridiculous remarks, and they are being helped by the press. |
With the way this BH thing is playing out, is it not now obvious that it is all about politics after all? The most annoying and painful episode are the innocent lives that have been lost |
chiover: . The good old days! When Agidi and moi moi were on top. U remb dis song? D day is bright is bright and fair o happy day the day of joy!Did you attend Baruwa Primary School, Ijeshatedo? |
solidbroda: Private universities in Nigeria should be checked for there extreme rules. Students are forced to do what they don't wanna do, and yet when these students graduate, they are worse than public university pupils in terms of moral, character and intellect. So, how will they be able to think out of the box to solve simple problems if they are being teleguided always? nwando: Has any Muslim group owned up yet? That's it! Just the mention of a bomb blast, then ... Sorry for my Muslim Brothers |
nwando: killer Muslims againBut the authorities have not come out to say it was carried out by the muslims, or have they? Ho! So, any act of terrorism is now by the Muslims, isn't it? Ok! |
pazienza: I see the way this script is going. First, boko haram was made to seem like they were only targeting and killing igbos, when we all know that all the north had suffered from their activities. Now,they expect ohanaeze to stand against boko amnesty.Thank you. Can you now see that all these hullabaloo about BH is all political. BH lost its religious colouration and affiliation since after the death of their leader- Mohammed Yusuf. You can see, as I did, that BH was allowed to take the dimension it took simply because some people somewhere were going to catch-in on it as a political tool and machines for their selfish purpose. Now, let me buttress my point with this example, and my point is that BH at a point in-time was a religious ideology which was later highjacked by our politicians for their selfish interest under the watch of our lame president who allowed it to blossom, ultimately for his own 2015 ambition as well. Now, you will remember that the former National Security Adviser -NSA- late Gen. Azzazi (a four star general of the nigerian army of blessed memory) who hails from the same state with the president (in other words, he is his brother and I suppose will be giving him sincere advice)once said that PDP=BH and BH=PDP. The next thing, he was sacked. There after, helicopter: crash! What next, an Hausa man (who may have been sympathetic to the BH folk) was made the National Security Adviser, under the watchful eyes of GEJ Now, pray, are you telling me that someone of the caliber of Azzazi will just open his mouth to talk without facts? In a nutshell, he was, in actual fact, speaking based on strong intelligent report only he, as the NSA, could be privy to. Could all these have been a coincidence? Does it not tell you that Aso Rock is playing pranks with the lives of innocent Nigerians all in the name of politics? October 1 2010 bombing in Abuja: can you remember the melodrama that ensued? Don't ask me for the solution of a problem started by those who will end it when they get tired. They are already on the part to that road. Soon, America and the rest of the world will join in the call for amnesty for BH. GEJ, in his wisdom will grant it; and he will be hailed for being a good man. And that will be his popular jingle comes 2015 election. That's what it is about anyway! |
Angelahoney: For those supporting amnesty for BH, read this:You see, we like twisting issue as if we read our books upside down. I have not seen any intimidation here. No one is intimidating the FG in granting amnesty to BH, rather it is the FG that is intimidating itself. First, by contemplating it in the first place. Or are you referring to the Sultan's call for amnesty as an intimidation? Who is the Sultan when a President of the FGN that has whims and caprices is in charge? But what do we have, a dullard and retard. Or was it Turai's call that you considered an intimidation? Or this Ohaneze or whatever? Please drop the argument about intimidation. No one can intimidate you when you take your stand and you rightfully do so too! |
Ms_Steph: Don't even knw y dis boko haram tin is an issue since dey r destroying only their states nd killing their brothers let them continue. As if they r d only ones wit a religionYou fool! So, in your mind of minds, you are still thinking that BH is about religion? Can't you read in-between the lines? Are you so daft that you can't put one and two together to really fathom what exactly is going on?! So, in your dream, you still consider BH to be a religious fight? How wrong and weak minded you are. Please, tell yourself the truth, which is, ask GEJ: what has Nigerians do to you that you want to kill us all under the guise of BH? |
NUAIT!:in response to your question, granting amnesty without first and foremost taking care of the causes of the problem you mentioned in the first place will not solve anything. Amnesty is the least of all the solution to the problem. In my own opinion, I think Government knows who BHs are, otherwise, they wouldn't have just jumped at the amnesty thing just like that. Was it because it was the Sultan who suggested or called for it? Is the Sultan bigger than the FG? Did GEJ not said he knows them, that they are in his government? Then, he should fish them out. They are just not being sincere with it. |
Kwajay: Jonathan, forgive Boko Haram — Turaiand do you people realise the people that invited Turai to an occasion which gave her the opportunity to spew this nonsense? Jonathan's own people. You see, I think the PDP are just tired of this bombing and they want to make it look as if some people some where were the ones begging GEJ's government for amnesty for the bombings to stop. Well, that's what I think |
Fhemmmy: May her soul rest in peace . . . .I would like to know you. I always look out for your post. You are very matured. In fact, no one should use the blue font again except you. I'm sending that resolution to the house of assembly. @Topic: RIP Late Madam Deputy Governor. |
mbhs139: Na all of them get Arik Air planes for their website o! Which one we wan believe now. God save me say I never pay for Prof Agbonjinmi's ticket. There is an Arik Web that has this url: https://fly.arikair.com/CAB/IBESSL/PassengerDetails.aspx I think that one is authentic. Notice the s |
Sky-walker:Na all of them get Arik Air planes for their website o! Which one we wan believe now. God save me say I never pay for Prof Agbonjinmi's ticket. Besides none of them have the "https://" before their address. People, anytime you want to make payment online or do any transaction that involves your credit card online, always look for the tag: https:// The s means that it is a secured site and worthy of transacting business with. |
Reference: Of course he knows the people behind it but does that change the dynamic. I know and am sure you do if you care to honestly admit it. This is classic 'gangs of newyork'.Your post sort of make sense. This has been my position for sometime now, before some people started asking for amnesty for a faceless group I suppose. It seems GEJ has now told us that they are not faceless after all. Then he should deal with. |
ecosanders: You r a goat,d fact dat u claim 2 b a muslim doesnt mean u r one in heart, or wat can u call d early crusaders, or havent u heard of Pastor aiding n abbaiting Criminals? Yet dey claim 2 serve God. Did u kw dat in d North u dare nt talk of BH anyhw? Cos u dnt kw who is who, if u doubt ask ur kinsmen out there, so dnt say they r being shield, an Hausa man is neva a betrayal, if they kw dem, dey wil surely xpose dem, no doubt dey might be shield by som big wigs, bt nt d community. How does his comment makes him a goat. So, because the crusaders murdered some people some time ago, we should continue in this state of killing innocent souls? I don't really get you, you know? What exactly are you saying, your thought are incoherent. |
mekaboy: I guess those who are supporting them and calling for their amnesty are not muslims too. So muslims, over to you, are boko haram members muslims?I don't see why anybody should be calling for Amnesty for a group that has not shown remorse for all the atrocities they have committed. Those calling for their amnesty most have been their financiers after all. How can you be begging for someone to be pardon that person kept on committing the same offence without bleak-in-eye-lid. I'm a Muslim, and I don't care whether BH are Muslims or not. Govt should deal with them decisively according to the laws of the land or the Sharia. According to the Sharia, it is a sin against God to pick up arms against your country, fellow country men, or people of other religion when they have no hinder you from performing your own religious duties. So, BH should be decisively dealt with. That's my position. No amnesty, unless they come out in the open, lay down their arms, and apologise for all their atrocities, then we can start talking of Amnesty; they should be the first to make the move, we'll then take them like the prodigal son who has come to their senses. Otherwise, the bombings continue! |
myjobsfinder: We have a caring president http://leoweblink..comHmmm, I see ... |
abnakol: Politics of condolence! This man knows the antics... Come 2015, it will surely yield positive result.I doubt if it 'will surely'. We are wiser now. No mmore 'I have no shoes, therefore vote for me'. Once beaten, twice shy |
Billyonaire: There is no Politician yet, in recent memory that has been this humble. Even when the opposition call him names and throw pebbles at him, he doesnt respond with personal attacks.Don't be deceived, it's election time come 2015, what do you expect? Is it a big a deal that he sent emissaries to Tinubu's birthday party? And whose business is that? Ho, you see your life, so this was on the basis why you casted your vote for Jonathan 2011, because he had no shoes? Sentiments, that's all I see: playing on our intelligence! |
Honestly, it will be very silly and stupid of anybody to be swayed by this prepared speech GEJ has to memorise before flying to Ikenne. Have you forgotten that this was how GEJ started with the 'I have no shoes' madness? Was it not on this basis of sentiment and sympathy that we voted for him and bought him and his wife million naira shoes, which they now used in trampling us; eating 3million naira meal a day under the rock? Nigerians, be warned. They wan start another magic again o! |
soloqy: I think the 100 naira per month ATM charge is fair enough. The machines cost money to set up and maintain. I think we all like to take the posture of "we against them". Some of the things Sanusi is doing are questionable. The whole banking system is not and should not be gradually and systematically turned to Islamic system of bankingCommercial banks are there to make money while providing services, and in the process, employ our friends, family and acquaintances. It all trickles down. And if you think policies like this would not have an effect on things like employment in that sector, then think again. We always think of the immediate, and focus on ourselves in situations without looking at the big picture. Is it the Islamic bank you have problem with or the charges? From the post so far, it appears first bank is a culprit of very currupt practice in this area. I had to visit their branch to show my displeasure and I was not really satisfied with their explanation: how can I have 103,655 naira. And after withdrawing 3000 naira my balance was now 100,265? Where is the balance? They started telling me all sorts of theorem. Now back to the topic, to those who are against the decision, did you not read that the decision was reached at the meeting of the bankers? Could SANUSI have unilaterally forced them to reach that conclusion knowing fully well that it well affect their balances at the end? Did he hold gun to their head? Don't you realise that this decision most have been reached after due consideration given every inherent factors? To the guy complaining about maintaining ATM machines, the initial idea of ATM machine was to serve as an incentive woo customers and make banking experience easy for them, so it shouldn't sound as if they are doing me a favour. They should allow me withdraw my money from the counter just the way I deposited it there without being charged. Why should I be mandated to use ATM and be charged? I beg! |
You know, if the letter by the junior Okah to the Cardinal Okogie was actually written by him, then, I give up hope on this country. Moreover, does that not show glaringly that, as I have said times without number, that BH is more of political than religious as we were made to believe? If you think it is only the Nigerian Government that is our ill in this country, please include the press. They are worse! |
mbhs139: the bolded is true and correct. i dread going to GT for that singular fact. |
