To be serious, is it out of place or a crime to ask one's President a simple question of 'why did you fail to address the AU Summit on behalf of 160million people?'

The meeting that he was allegedly attending could have been handled at the ECOWAS level or meeting. Afterall, it is a highway from Abidjan to Lagos, two ECOWAS states. Not at the AU

Course tittle: CHM 215 (THERMODYNAMICS OF POLICTICAL CHEMISTRY)
TIME ALLOWED: 72 Hours.
QUESTION 1.
In a reaction involving 19g of Amaechium sulphate and 16g of Jangline carbonate, 2015g of Forumium Governo acid was produced.
i. Calculate the percentage purity of the product, assuming the reaction took place under JEGA standard condition.
ii. Assuming that 3g of Akpabio Chloride was added using Goodluckium solution, calculate the mass of Amaechium sulphate that would have been needed for the reaction to be endothermic?
iii. What is the colour of Akpabio Chloride before and after the reaction?
iv. Calculate the molecular weight of the reactants and products with respect to their places on the electrochemical series of quality leadership and state which is stronger.
v. Using their age, prove that Jangline is weak and would need more solution of Goodluckium nitrate to be able to precipitate Amaechium from the reaction.
vi. Why is it that the solution produced can't react with APCium Nitrate but would react violently with Turkia PDP (5) Jonite?

thelastpope10: It is called anti-party activities. No serious party will condone anti-party activities. I am surprised it took this long to suspend him. He wants to eat his cake and have it. Not possible. If he thinks he can do it with APC, by all means let him give it a go and let us see. But he knows he cant, that is why he has refused to leave. But you just cant eat your cake and have it, simple.
How could it have been anti-party?

How is it the chairmanship of the NGF suppose to be the business of the PDP in the first place if not that they have sinister motives? What powers does the NGF holds that we, the ordinary citizens, don't know that is making the presidency and the PDP so interested of who becomes its chairman, to the extent that they don't even trust one of their own except a particular one?

Where are the other parties and their Governors, why aren't they so much interested in the chairmanship of the NGF?

The only conclusion is that there seems to be something more than meet the eye to the position of the chairmanship of the NGF, otherwise, i don't see why the PDP should suspend Rotimi (omo aunty mi)
PoliticsRe: Jonathan's Name Has Brought Good-Luck To Nigeria by mbhs139(m): 6:39pm On May 26, 2013
lanre2009: President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday said despite the security challenges in parts of the country, his first name had brought some good luck to Nigeria.

Jonathan said this while granting an interview to a 10-year-old Nigerian girl based in California, Miss Zuriel Oduwole, on the sideline of the ongoing 21st ordinary session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the Africa Union holding in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Oduwole who was said to have earlier interviewed some other African leaders is working on a documentary on the union’s 50 years of existence.

She had sought to know from Jonathan how much good luck his first name had brought to the country under his leadership.

Jonathan said religion and traditional societies attached some values to names.

This, he said, was why parents select good names for their children.

He said, “Traditional societies attach some values to names. That is why people select good names for their children.

“In the scriptures sometimes, when God sends you on some special assignment, He could even direct, ‘change the name of this child from this to that.’

“But the name in itself does not make much difference because even from my village, there is one of my peers that also answers Goodluck. Another one that is a little older than me answers Lucky from my small village and I didn’t see the good luck and lucky in them.

“In terms of bringing my name to bear in Nigerian affairs, within this period, we have our challenges. Of course, you are aware that we have our security challenges. But in spite of the security challenges, the country is moving on. I will say yes, it brought some good luck to the country.”

On the legacy he would want to leave behind at the expiration of his tenure, Jonathan said he would like to be remembered for sanitising the nation’s electoral system as well as fixing the power poor and security challenges.

“If we can stabilise the electoral process, sanitise the political environment, then we make sure that we have power in this country and of course, security, every other things will take off on its own,” the President said.

Jonathan said he would also like the sanitation going on in the electoral system to be internalised in all sectors of the country.

He said, “People should be allowed to decide who governs them, who represents them at the parliament, who runs their affair at the local government level; the country never had that opportunity and the elite were no longer interested even in voting.

“Democracy was almost left floating in the hands of people who ordinarily have no place there. So, we are sanitising the electoral process. Now, Nigerians can select who they want to be their President, who they want to be their governor, who they want to be their senator, who they want to be their House of Representatives member or even their state House of Assembly member or even chairman of their council.

“We are doing that and I want that to be internalised in all the ways we do things. I want people to remember me for that.”

Jonathan also talked of his desire to put the nation on a better stead in the area of Information Technology.

He said with technological development, power could be stabilised and then, micro, small and medium scale enterprises would be encouraged.

These, he added, are the areas that create jobs for the people, improve the economy and reduce poverty to the barest minimum.

Also, the President said for African countries to come out of the woods and take their rightful positions among the comity of nations, their leaders must deepen democracy by avoiding abuse of power and impunity.

Surprisingly, i'm the one and only person that liked this post. It is not because I agreed that Mr President's name has brought 'goodluck' to the country has he claimed, but because, for once, the President really spoke like a president. Devoid of the arrogance I use to notice is his response previous times.

This time around, he spoke and spoke well. At the same time, I most not fail to accept that some ( i mean some) of the things he claimed as achievements were really his achievement; the stabilisation of the electoral process in particular.

shymexx: Thanks, Sir

I concur, Sir. I can tell from your posts, and the assertion you made about marching with Rev. Al Sharpton on a different thread. I agree that the brain washing makes them highly susceptible to violent reactions. However, we can't also negate the fact that most of these youths are idle and innately angry. They're angry at system and at the world. I'm from the same background and I know the anger builds overtime due to a system that's alienated them and lack of love. I think that's why these radical Islamo-fascist organisations are specially targeting youths from the inner-cities. And it's not just black youths - poor whites also have the same innate anger, hence why fascist groups like EDL and BNP are also growing at an alarming among them.

The system disenfranchised these youths. Even if you take the fascist organisations out of the "equation" - that won't stop the anger and idleness. However, I honestly think the only way Afro-caribbean parents can help out is by raising their kids not to feel any sense of entitlement to the British system. And to always endeavour to remind them about their heritage - and the need to always align with that. Once they stop pre-occupying their minds with the innate thoughts that the system owes them - that will purge their sense of entitlement to a system that has intentionally alienated them. And also empower them. It worked for me and most of my friends - and I think it will work for others. I used to be proper violent before, till I found succour in the empowerment of Afrocentrism and black consciousness.

Gaggi: Forget all these theories, life doesn't work that way. We have seen people get desperate and date for only few mnths before marriage and it was successful. We have also seen long term courtship that resulted into marriage but wasn't successful.
We have seen successful marriages that crashed after a while because someone changed.
It's silly for people to be advising others on marriage. Every relationship is different and what may cause a break up in one may unite another couple.
I know a couple where the man clubs, drinks and smokes but the friendship between him and his wife is enviable. In other homes, clubbing and drinking will (not added by commentator mbhs139) lead to divorce.
Bottom line is that ladies should mind their business and stop interfering in their friends relationships and marriage. If it works out fine if it doesn't it is none of ur business. u don't need to start saying i told u and narrating the story all over. Gosh, women are so petty.
Sir or Madam, the advice aren't bad like you are trying to paint and neither what you said is bad too.

At the bolded and as a matter of fact with reference to all that has been said, I think the advice should have been what should ladies/guys do as a solution when the once 'i love you' starts getting tough.

As far as I'm concerned I don't think there is any marriage that is perfect; there will always be infractions here and there whether or not you court for eternity. The most important thing in marriage is understanding and perseverance, particularly from the women folks. But our ladies of now adays; with all their degrees will never succumb to any excesses from any man.

Gone were the days when our grand-mums will put water in the bathroom for their husbands and his concubine after the ... 'you know'. Yes, my granny told me of such stories.

Gone were the days where wives will cry, begging their husbands because he refuses to eat, even when he didn't provide money for the meal.

Infact, i know say i don stair the honey's nest with this my post from ladies ... temi ba mi!

Yea Mukina. I did a course in outsourcing, and I'm a member of the outsourcing practitioners of Nigeria.

Yes, Nigeria still has a lot to gain when it comes to outsourcing business, particularly from overseas. India is already saturated and the jobs are moving to Nigeria. Our government only need to fix some certain things, particularly light. Outsourcing jobs are jobs you can even do in the comfort of your living room.

In an environment where uniform is worn, then everyone should comply...
If you let hijab, then you gotta let the xtian folks scarf up their head.

You gotta let the ATR's come with their cowries and consultation bag... If you can't let that happen, then you gotta ban it all and let the uniform be a standard measure!

There should be equal rights amongst students. A beret is the best option should any student feel the need to have their heads covered.
I know your problem, it has a name: HATRED!

And to live with the reality that you went to school to gain education makes me sick. The prospects of you becoming the leader of an organisation in the future, be it public or private, makes me sick the more, because you may never lead well but with hatred against other religious beliefs, particularly Muslims.

cold: Well the story turned out to be false. It was just the machinations of a right wing newspaper to stir up trouble. Not like I enjoy what the Muslims are turning the world into but when i see bullshiit i call it...
England's Daily Mail tabloid ran a story after the weekend's title celebrations that was based in zero fact and presented it as if it was. I won't link to the story here to avoid giving them anymore traffic, but I will give you the gist of the story. As you know, Franck Ribery is a Muslim and avoids alcohol of any sort due to his religion. They ran a story of how Ribery was "pissed off" at Jerome Boateng for pouring beer on him during the celebrations and that he would never talk to Boateng again! Why would the Daily Mail be trying to stir up controversy on the eve of a massive match for Bayern that takes place a little over a week from today in --- you guessed it --- London? Because they're awful, that's why.Jerome took to Twitter today to dispel this falsehood.
Thank you my brother for putting the record strait, particularly for people like

Now, as regards your comment coloured above, you see, as a Muslim myself, it is becoming very difficult by the day trying to point to people of other faith that it is not right to use the attitude of some few to judge the majority. I wont believe this story until I see the pictures of the arrested 62 BH members or whatever number they call it.

So many people, at so many times on this platform, have asked the Nigerian press to back up their story with pictures like their foreign counterparts do.

During the Libya crisis from far away Tripoli, Bengazi and other trouble places in Libya, were we not watching live pictures of how events were unfolding from the comfort of our parlours?

Now, just in my back yard here in Maiduguri, were my fellow country men, even though they have turned dissidents by their own design and desire, you can not show me the picture. Not even still picture of captured BH members. Nonsense!

You know what, all these stories, to me, are just war propaganda. I stand to be corrected.
