Ever heard of force majeure? These are unforeseen circumstances beyond one's control. Assuming one is too ill to write a paper, or suddenly falls ill in the middle of an exam, what happens? The individual has to spend an extra year in school for this?

So, those of us for other schools no dey fall sick? If you are sick, go to the medical center and get a report, the course will not be counted as a carry over. it's simple as that.

Bludeville: I'm a graduate of pharmacy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and in my department, re-sits are often written, this is because in pharmacy, most courses are 'prerequisites' , what this means is you cant proceed to the next level of a certain course (e.g Pharmacology 301) if you havent passed the previous level (Pharmacology 201) because it is a continous process and it's difficult/impossible to truly understand 301 if you havent proven that you have a firm grasp of 201.

I think that the NUC should poke their noses where they are truly needed and not disrupting and stupidly banning certain practices especially if they do not know/understand the reason behind it because it only makes them seem silly

My take, just like you, is that was was the need for the film in the first place? I'm quiet sure the producers has an objective, like I have kept on saying, and which is to cause all these mayhem we have been witnessing. The aim has been achieved, whether we like it or not.

Why will YOUTUBE take the film down in some certain countries and not the rest of the world,are there no muslims in these other countries? There is a power play somewhere, you can't rule out Obama's political opponents away from these, they may actually have sponsored this just to get a votes.

You can imagine the boldened! And this is what I have been saying, even as a muslim, that people are just being unneccessarily emotional on both sides. I have always been asking the one question that no one has cared to answer, why was the film made and made public in the first place, if not to achieve a purpose? And I think the producers of the film have already achieved their aim and objectives, which is the destructon of lifes and properties, and the creation of enmity among friends and siblings.

As far as Islam is concerned, it is even a sin on a Muslim to insult the gods of the idol worshipers becuase doing so will make the idol worshiper to insult Allah in return, and the sin and responsibility is on the one who provoked the insult in the first place.

What we fail to understnd and point out is that out of 1.6 billion muslims the worl over, it is not out of place to come across some irrational ones among us. In addition to that, in as much as we are condeming the reaction of the muslims to the said film, what about the film makers.
