Business is a risk and to get involved, one has to be ready to embrace it whole hardy. What matters the most in every partnership venture is understanding. Understand your partner very well and know his shortcomings and limitations. Pre-empt him and know tins he's capable of. This will help the individual work with a clear mind, expect the worst and brace up whenever the tide fails. I'm in partnership venture and because I know my partner well, nothing surprises me. |

tankfarm: Your procedure is purely 'Call n Load'! The price u gave is for 'offficial' product which should come with either a Marine ATB or NOR!! Can u board our Scargo 4 cargo confirmation? Revert pls.You will have to sign contract before you board. Nor is down already |
sleekch1c: Some of the responses on this thread shows the average Nigerian IQ.....even jobless, anti-social and very depressed individuals are telling a female comedian who is doing well for herself that she is fat. Are you ppl dat daft and bereft of ideas? What is your business in how the lady looks like? She is making her money and all u sad and pathetic individuals are here typing crap with ur cheap phones and antique laptop computers. Pity!Whatever happened to freedom of speech and expression. Truth be told, she's fat and infact looks like a dude judging from the first pic. And yes, I don't know her and don't give a hoot for who she is. But with the supposed fan base she has; from the comments seen so far, she sure is worthy of a mention and appraisal. |

mutiply: Am conviced that the champs league match was the semi final game between chelsea and barca some years back, that ref denied chelsea good penalty claims cause he wanted uefa lona to qualifyI can guess you watched that game at a viewing center. That explains possibly y you forgot to mention that, same ref awarded a straight red to Abidal for a non-existent offence. #QuitPrejudice |
@op, it bouys down to same reason why contract agreements in NIGERIA don't work out. By basic standard, all contracts should have a clause attached. The clause gives in for amendment in event of unforseen or expected outcomes. |
Johnpaul88: Official: Xavi has a thighThiago should be able to feel the void. I will choose him any day over Cesc. |
Debroslink: I HOPE WHAT HAPPENED IN 2004 WON'T REPEAT ITSELF. THE CAMEROUNIANS WERE A FORCE TO BE REKONED WITH. THEY WERE D DEFENDING CHAMPIONS, BUT NIGERIA WON THEM AND SENT THEM PACKING BY 2 GOALS TO 1. THE NATION ROARED AND CHEERED WITH JOY AND HAPINESS. BUT WHEN WE PLAYED D SEMI-FINAL MATCH, WE WERE KNOCKED OUT BY TUNISHA COS WE UNDERRATED THEM.Tunisia was the host team, and had home advantage. Trust me, African competitions still suffer from that. All you need is a disciplined team; they don't have to world beaters. Just disciplined and with a sheer of luck, you might win as the host nation. |
odumchi: I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for native-style prom dresses (for women) and prom tuxes (for men).I've been ruminating on this idea for a while and could only say that, the choice of prom dress going by native-style is best exemplified with native prints. Now, the dress sense of the wearer comes to mind, and infact, its the most important when choosing what fabric, colour and style to be made. A typical teenager, with an appetite for anything 'swag' may likely fancy a denim-inspired jacket. A flappy top, doned in adire or ankara fabrics of light/bright colours and a patterned jeans or pant trousers to match. This aspect depends again on the dress taste of the wear. He may decide to go for an ankara patterned pant to match the top, or simply go a jeans, with the latter having a slight touch of the ankara fabric used to make the top. A locally-inspired tux may work just well too. There's a possibility there. The tux is lightly touched with few elements of local fabric at the colar/flap. This will bring out the uniqueness it intends to portray. For the lady, a cocktail anakara gown, neatly helmed at the knee would make an excellent wear. It should be sleeveless, and the line drawn from the bust. ![]() |
Nice thread. |
There goes another publicity stunt! Mtschhhheeuuurr.. ![]() |
I got in here expecting the usual charlatans and nayslayers to proclaim doom for the SE, but my dismay has been astounded. Nonetheless, i truly hope the boys will fight for the kill against the Malians. I expect that from them. I trust the coaching crew not to take the game slightly. As i mentioned earlier to those who doubted the possibility of the Eagles beating the Elephants of Ivory coast, hear it again; football is played by 2 teams with equal number of playing men. Anybody can win! Football is not played by name, and has never been! If it has, then teams like England, Brazil and Germany will be winning the world cup every other year, taking turns among themselves. And like i asked someone on saturday; name one single department where the Ivoiriens are better than the Nigerian lads! They don't have a Messi or Iniesta who can do extraordinary things with the ball, neither do they have a Casilas who is a trojan warrior between they sticks. Yaya is just an average player despite all the hype and standard built around him. Drogba is way past his prime (a 20yr old ate him for breakfast), Kalou and Gervinho are not world beaters. So! The game against the Malians is an open one. The better disciplined team wins the day. Up Naija! |
abbakacici: Every win of african cup of nation finished top of their group so ghana is winning thisNow, that's a myth eh? #Smh |
Mikel Obi is my man of the match. He shut down the Ivoirien engine room (Yaya) and made a crucial interception that was destined for the net. He was our unsung hero. The game plan was centred on him and he executed to near perfection. |
O'steve:Either of the two will work. |
Mcleo007: So unnecessary of you to say! Just tell me how are the Ivoirens better than our players? You think names win matches? If so, either Argentina or England would have won the last world cup. Any team can win my brother. This is football not wrestling. What the team needs is a game plan that is tied to discipline. |

Shame on those who, with their defeatist mentality wrote off the representatives of their country. Shame on yall! |
ogtavia: Our defence line is too high,we need to sit deeper in the defence, the ivoriens are trying to soak up the pressure, cant anyone see thisss....Yeah.. They are bemused by the flow of the game. I only hope the lads don't tire too quickly. |
Hilarious indeed! ![]() |
logica: Barca fans are so classy; nobody made reference to the poor officiating. Real Madrid had 17 fouls to Barca's 4 fouls yet they both had the same number of yellow cards? In which world does that make sense? It happens in Africa Bro. The game btw Nigeria and Burkina faso saw the latter commit 20 fouls while the former bagged 27. Guess what, the 27 resulted in 5 yellow and one red, while the 20 left unscathed. |
Nice move for the lad. Hope he gets play time (quality) and come bk better. With Marc Overmars the sporting director at Ajax, I believe he'll get some time. |
