chisiudeh:You are welcome bro. I saw your PM, sorry I don't do PMs for now, but feel free to ask your questions here so others can contribute and learn as well. Hope you understand? |
chisiudeh:Your dad, mum, your younger brother and your family "small" business are good hometies. Just try to present your case well |
Frankrobbn1:Cc: Candybright Bro, depending on the institution. Let him check his intended institution's site for the answer. I want to believe he has DATA for that ![]() |
Frankrobbn1:Thanks brother, I remain humble. How flexing for your side? |
AKUPSME:Sorry about that, this is why we should always try to do some research ourselves before doing anything. This is more or less a faceless forum and there are so many people here with different motives. If you have someone in Canada I will advise you visit cic.gc.ca and apply for your note or use a private site that most . Sorry about that once again |
Setemiola:Most acceptance fee is part of the tuition fee, as it is deducted from the tuition fee. So, include it in your app |
Frankrobbn1:@kylexy61 wants to travel with the whole BANKU in Ghana ![]() |
phemmisky:Sorry bro, I don't do SOP at the moment cos I don't have much time and I wouldn't want to rush through it for you. Others can assist with that. Best of luck |
Martswoll:Don't worry, all things being equal you should get your approval within 7 days. You hardly see anyone that was called for medical get denied, so just start preparing for the journey. Congratulations bro |
Candybright:You can easily check this from the school's site. Do some research yourself and come back to ask questions. |
Jewel80:Since it is for 20 months(which is about 2 years) getting tax clearance would have been perfect, but since you said he hasn't been paying for a while now then I will advise he works more on his letter of support and state how he intend to pay your fees for the second year. Also he should state the number of dependants he has(your mum and siblings that still depend on him). Just like I said earlier, him paying your tuition fee now and transferring your living expenses is a very good step. |
Jewel80:I don't know if it will scale through, but I am happy he has paid your tuition fee and transferred your living expenses into your account. What is the duration of your programme? |
Bukella:In SOP and also documents. If let's say your sponsor runs his own business, he/she should provide his CAC, tax clearance, etc. If you sponsor works for someone, he/she should provide his payslip(6months), work ID, etc. All these shows the sponsor has something doing and can sustain himself and his dependants(after sponsoring the applicant), it also help to tackle lump sum as well(in a way) |
moneyncar:1. You can change when you get to Canada but it will be wise to secure the admission before leaving for Canada. 2. I see you having issues securing trv(especially if you can't explain the study gap). I want to believe you spent atleast 4 years to run your undergraduate programme here, so what will you tell the vo you have been doing for that 4 years(since you want to use your undergraduate admission to apply for trv). My best advise is for you to apply for masters programme now and if you get the offer, you apply for your trv using the masters offer letter cos you stand a better chance with masters than undergraduate programme. NB: WHY DID YOU APPLY FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME WHEN YOU ALREADY HAVE THAT QUALIFICATION AND YOUR PREFERENCE IS EVEN MASTERS? |
Jewel80:Permit me to use Caps...... YOU ARE OVER GOOD TO GO SIS. Now you can focus on other aspect of your application. SUCCESS NB: Please don't forget, your dad should show his source of fund(it is very very important). |
strongtech2:Are you for REAL bro? |
Phocusjosh:Cc:Kayvine4u If you can explain how come the money it will pass. I want to believe the large sum will be from your sponsors? If yes, then they should state it in their letter of support that they transferred the said amount(also state the date) into your account so as to show commitment towards your studies. You should also state it in your SOP that the money is from your sponsors towards your studies. Do this and issue of lump sum is tackled |
kayvine4u:Letter of support will be enough from both of them. Also, you need to present your own statement of account as well(no matter the amount in it). Moving of large funds into your account should be well explained by you and your sponsors. |
Maxihyfr:Then make your way to PH cos its closer to your base(except if you don't mind doing it in lagos or Abuja) |
technokid:No problem, get an affidavit stating there was a mistake on your uni and NYSC certs. |
amazonrck:The time in between is much. You have two options: To travel alone then get a place for your child then send for him afterwards or follow @HisSignature suggestion(since he said someone tried it and it worked). Best of luck |
Maxihyfr:You must do it in any of those mentioned clinics/hospitals. Which state are you? |
amazonrck:Getting a day care centre for him would have really helped as the vo will expect him to be taken care of before you commence your studies. I will advise you leave him behind till next year(though I know it won't be easy for you). When exactly are you suppose to resume and which month of next year will the day care have opening for your child? |
kylexy61:Wondering how to fit your entire existence into two 23kg suitcases? LOL! Well, only carry what is very important and you think you can get in Canada. As for your wardrobe, I will advise you get most of your clothing in Canada(only carry your native attire along). |
Maxihyfr:Go to cic site and you will see the list of accredited clinics/hospitals with their locations. For ease you should do it with any of the clinic/hospital in your state or a state close to your base. First visit www.cic.gc.ca to know the clinic and which of them is close to your base. |
@KISHKOSH; 1. Use the bank with enough fund, but if you feel like adding the gtbank account then no problem(but its not a must). 2. Pictures aren't accepted(for paper route), a letter of support fromhim stating he has been helping you out with your studies and other things will do, also you should state it boldly in your SOP as well. 3. Family tree isn't compulsory as well, but if you can then no qualms. But another way you can show relationship is getting your mum's birth cert and that of your uncle or his international passport(with your mum and him having same surname). Even at that you and your uncle will still state it in your SOP and letter of support respectively. 4. Submit all your accounts statements(as long as you have money in it, no matter how small). NB: Make sure your uncle state the exact amount he will be contributing to your studies in his letter of support and IF POSSIBLE LET HIM TRANSFER THE SAID AMOUNT INTO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT OR PAY TO YOUR SCHOOL to show commitment, since he is a third party(the instruction in CAPs is my sincere advise). |
Qupp:What exactly do you want to know bro? I haven't been following your case |
Currazzi:You don't have to counter anything, just apply for SOWP for your spouse and visiting or study for your children(depending on their age. You can apply while still in Nigeria or better still apply as soon as you arrive Canada. Don't panic |
Martswoll:Ok, it takes children's practice between 3-5days to send your result to cic. So, don't worry you will be approval mail any moment from now. More than 90% applicants who got the medical invite get their app approved |
Newman1010:I am a bro |
Martswoll:Upfront or on request? |
@Newman1010 Congratulations bro, go and succeed. More good news for all those waiting on cic |
