Good day my people
Please I have a worry,
I applied March 16 2018 paper route and was refused April 18 2018 .
I then ordered for my gcms notes with getgcms.com upon collection today,I saw same generic response from them as was updated on my online application instead of the case files.I contacted someone about this who told me that getgcms.com were scammers.
Now I am in a crossroad whether to apply to CIC or order another gcms notes which will take another 1 month bearing in mind school starts September.
I attached the notes
Sorry about that, this is why we should always try to do some research ourselves before doing anything. This is more or less a faceless forum and there are so many people here with different motives.
If you have someone in Canada I will advise you visit cic.gc.ca and apply for your note or use a private site that most . Sorry about that once again

Please my peoples, Am I going to include my acceptance fee recept to my visa application submittion? Please I need your reply.
Most acceptance fee is part of the tuition fee, as it is deducted from the tuition fee. So, include it in your app

kylexy61,

Good to see you're making a great move!
You mustn't take all your belongings along with you, pick the most important items that best suit your needs over there and you will notice that the two 23kg suitcases you're complaining about will be sufficient for you. Again, take it easy o don't fast track the calender as you intend doing also consider some TRV hopefuls that are yet to apply and acquire their TRV. grin

God is indeed faithful.
All the best!
@kylexy61 wants to travel with the whole BANKU in Ghana grin grin grin

20months
Since it is for 20 months(which is about 2 years) getting tax clearance would have been perfect, but since you said he hasn't been paying for a while now then I will advise he works more on his letter of support and state how he intend to pay your fees for the second year. Also he should state the number of dependants he has(your mum and siblings that still depend on him).
Just like I said earlier, him paying your tuition fee now and transferring your living expenses is a very good step.

Jewel80:
What he has to show this is his CAC certificate of registration. No tax clearance, can that serve?
I don't know if it will scale through, but I am happy he has paid your tuition fee and transferred your living expenses into your account. What is the duration of your programme?

Bukella:
Do you mean explain source of funds in the SOP?
In SOP and also documents. If let's say your sponsor runs his own business, he/she should provide his CAC, tax clearance, etc. If you sponsor works for someone, he/she should provide his payslip(6months), work ID, etc. All these shows the sponsor has something doing and can sustain himself and his dependants(after sponsoring the applicant), it also help to tackle lump sum as well(in a way)

Good day family, I really need your advise. I just got an admission letter from U of R to study computer science (undergraduate). But my plans when I get to Canada is to do my masters ,just using undergraduate as a way of getting there. My questions are...
1)Is it possible for me to change to a master program when I get to canada?
2) Should I submit my transcript of my bsc/Waec to the CIC when applying for my student visa and back it up with a good SOP.... Please I am waiting for your responses. Thanks
1. You can change when you get to Canada but it will be wise to secure the admission before leaving for Canada.
2. I see you having issues securing trv(especially if you can't explain the study gap). I want to believe you spent atleast 4 years to run your undergraduate programme here, so what will you tell the vo you have been doing for that 4 years(since you want to use your undergraduate admission to apply for trv).
My best advise is for you to apply for masters programme now and if you get the offer, you apply for your trv using the masters offer letter cos you stand a better chance with masters than undergraduate programme.
NB: WHY DID YOU APPLY FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME WHEN YOU ALREADY HAVE THAT QUALIFICATION AND YOUR PREFERENCE IS EVEN MASTERS?

Goodmorning guys!

My father is my sponsor. He has paid my full tuition of $10,300 for one year and paid in $10,109 into my dorm account. His statement of account has a closing balance of 7million. Please am i good to go with this? For proof of sufficient fund. Thank you
Permit me to use Caps...... YOU ARE OVER GOOD TO GO SIS. Now you can focus on other aspect of your application. SUCCESS
NB: Please don't forget, your dad should show his source of fund(it is very very important).

An affidavit of support and letter of sponsorship from your husband and bro in-law are required. Please, include you SOA and I will advise you not to move funds in now to avoid lump sum.
Cc:Kayvine4u If you can explain how come the money it will pass. I want to believe the large sum will be from your sponsors? If yes, then they should state it in their letter of support that they transferred the said amount(also state the date) into your account so as to show commitment towards your studies. You should also state it in your SOP that the money is from your sponsors towards your studies. Do this and issue of lump sum is tackled

Hello house,

i urgently need clarification on this. my husband and my bro in-law are going to be sponsoring me. Do i need the affidafit of support from the court or just a letter of sponsorship from them would do. i also do not have much in my account, do i need to present my SOA as well. if i move funds into in now, would it look suspicious that a lump sum was recently deposited into the account?

please gurus help me out here. thanks
Letter of support will be enough from both of them.
Also, you need to present your own statement of account as well(no matter the amount in it).
Moving of large funds into your account should be well explained by you and your sponsors.

Thanks for your response mcobex.

I am to resume September, and they will be having an opening for June, 2019.
The time in between is much. You have two options: To travel alone then get a place for your child then send for him afterwards or follow @HisSignature suggestion(since he said someone tried it and it worked). Best of luck

Hi all

This is my first post and I would appreciate your quick response.

I am about to apply for my TRV, but I have few questions which might not have been asked/answered on this thread and the previous.
I am 30 years old, married with a one-year-old son and I have an unconditional PhD admission offer. I intend to apply with my son while hubby stays back as one of the home ties.

For my son, I have contacted most of the child care centres around my University, but they are fully booked and was told I will be put on a waitlist until next year.

My question:
How else do I show the VO that my child will be adequately catered for while studying since I couldn't get him into a daycare centre?
Getting a day care centre for him would have really helped as the vo will expect him to be taken care of before you commence your studies. I will advise you leave him behind till next year(though I know it won't be easy for you). When exactly are you suppose to resume and which month of next year will the day care have opening for your child?

Thanks. My school reopens in September, so more time. Preparations are currently ongoing. The usual "pre-departure syndrome":

-Refurbishing my wardrobe
-Searching for accommodation
-Smiling in anticipation whenever Canada is mentioned on TV.
-Wondering how on earth I can fit my entire existence into two 23kg suitcases.
-Wishing June, July will be removed from the calendar so September comes quickly.

God has been Faithful.

It shall end in praise for us all.
Wondering how to fit your entire existence into two 23kg suitcases? LOL!
Well, only carry what is very important and you think you can get in Canada. As for your wardrobe, I will advise you get most of your clothing in Canada(only carry your native attire along).

Good day all.. So if someone is called for medicals.. Where do one go for it.. The embassy??
Go to cic site and you will see the list of accredited clinics/hospitals with their locations. For ease you should do it with any of the clinic/hospital in your state or a state close to your base. First visit www.cic.gc.ca to know the clinic and which of them is close to your base.

@KISHKOSH;
1. Use the bank with enough fund, but if you feel like adding the gtbank account then no problem(but its not a must).
2. Pictures aren't accepted(for paper route), a letter of support fromhim stating he has been helping you out with your studies and other things will do, also you should state it boldly in your SOP as well.
3. Family tree isn't compulsory as well, but if you can then no qualms. But another way you can show relationship is getting your mum's birth cert and that of your uncle or his international passport(with your mum and him having same surname). Even at that you and your uncle will still state it in your SOP and letter of support respectively.
4. Submit all your accounts statements(as long as you have money in it, no matter how small).
NB: Make sure your uncle state the exact amount he will be contributing to your studies in his letter of support and IF POSSIBLE LET HIM TRANSFER THE SAID AMOUNT INTO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT OR PAY TO YOUR SCHOOL to show commitment, since he is a third party(the instruction in CAPs is my sincere advise).

Dear gurus,I have my TRV approved last month and I stated that my spouse and kids will not accompany me to mapleland.what is the best way to counter that claim by me and let them come and join me.I have proof of funds and assets to use as hometies.Wifey is a senior lecturer too in a federal university.kindly proffer solutions.
You don't have to counter anything, just apply for SOWP for your spouse and visiting or study for your children(depending on their age.
You can apply while still in Nigeria or better still apply as soon as you arrive Canada. Don't panic
