fkj950ax:You made this post sound as if our police actually gives a fuçk about solving crime. Truth is, if you are not a politician or a money bag, Nigerian police will not bother you solve a crime about you. That's just the sad truth. The next thing they'll do now is to tow the motor to the station and await the relatives to come and pay huge sum of money to get the SUV back. |
morningstar55:Go through your account history and fish out his name and account number. That should be pretty easy to do. |
Bitxzcheck:Don't do any hasty generalization. I heard somewhere, though not authenticated, that the bank allow people open account online without BVN. Check this thread for more info https://www.nairaland.com/5557834/beware-thaler-he-scammer/2#84514907 |
Ok |
Nigerians hate to wear a seatbelt... |
Did the youth try to kill the policeman with a gun? If no, then the police is as guilty as hell and should be sentenced to death too. That's the only time we will say we have justice. |
Most Nigerian politicians, past and present, deserves a permanent home in Nigerian prison for the gigantic theft and misappropriation of funds while in power. |
Wow |
Nnemuka:Keeping fit is not a bad thing. It's actually a healthy lifestyle. |
Yankee101:At least this is a start, I guess with time subsequent government may get them. |
Yankee101:This is a war against corruption. I need more corrupt governors jailed; even if for a day. Properties should also be seized and given back to the state. That way, they will think twice before stealing. Let him also lose his senate seat. These guys are gluttons and deserve whatever they get! |
Once you kill a cop and you are caught in Naija, you will never be alive to tell the story. He chose the life that always ends this way. Funny, many will still tow the same path, even after witnessing his end. |
TheTega:How is the account he used in scamming still functional? I'm guessing it may still be operational. The people he scammed should petition the relevant agencies to freeze the account. That dude is an unrelentless, remorseless scammer. |
Tiger01:And you know this by looking at his picture? ![]() |
Duggedised12:How convenient ![]() |
Duggedised12:As for the timeline, that may be plausible. Let's just say the man was an unmarried young man during the war. What is very inconsistent is the picture of the man which turned out to be politician and how the so called friend disappeared only to reappear about four decades later and miraculously have the number of a wife, the friend obviously didn't even see him marry. Lol I know it was all lies, because such stories are always told by a third party. I'm yet to see a story told by the people directly involved eg a man talking about his ghost wife, or a wife talking about his ghost husband. This type of stories are usually spread by a friend of the wife or husband. There is never any consistency to it. No real address, just a general address. No real pictures of the said people, no photo of their old self before the died, just stories made up to convince or scare lily-livered folks |
Duggedised12:That's why we have the richest religious leaders. OP even try to be convincing. These days, most of these con men masquerading as religious leaders, don't even try as hard as the OP to convince people to believe their BS ![]() |

toronto10:He couldn't even get a more random photo of not a public figure to use ![]() |
nonoski:We will appreciate it if you can share your unpleasant experience with the battery. |
gloriaunobi:Hope is a powerful tool ![]() |
I think I'm seeing a new trend to scam unsuspecting people. A scammer can do a little deal with a known dealer to earn cred as an honest dealer. Then wait and strike unsuspecting victims for a bigger money. So, now fellas, be careful who you vouch for. Because when shït hits the fan, the victim(s) are gonna come for your a5s ![]() |
The killer will forever be on the run. They should sentence the tea seller to life in prison. He needs it for hiring an assassin to kill on Jos behalf. |
Why shouldn't we use it? Incomplete information is dangerous |
Nvc078:Firewood is a health hazard, users run the risk to develop chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer, asthma and contract tissue damage. |
HSE is very important. Observe the simple rules, do not light up a match if you perceive leaking gas. The smell test can save lives. Also, avoid placing gas cylinders near source of heat. Buy genuine gas cylinder and gas regulator. Don't fill up gas in shady plants. Do not overfill your cylinder. I know awoof dey sweet but keep to the recommended gauge for your cylinder. Lastly ensure adequate air circulation in areas where gas are kept. I've used cooking gas since I was a toddler, I'm still here with zero wahala. Cooking gas are safe. Just obey the rules. Here's wishing the wounded quick recovery. |
Nigeria hospitals are not charity organisation. No matter how broke you are, you can never walk into a bank and ask for free money. Most people don't want to pay hospitals for services rendered. They'll promise to pay when the problem is holding them on the jugular and try to abscond the next moment it is fixed. I do not blame hospitals that refuse treatment until payment, I only wish there is a way to ensure the patient is covered (a sort of insurance that will pay the hospital) for the basic first aid and nothing more until payment is done. Every worker deserves their wages, and so it shouldn't be any different with the hospitals. What I don't really like is the turning away of patients, by our Federal Medical Centers, for lack of bed space, the government should ensure that this rarely happens. |
I like the investigative reporting by the journalists. They've sure got some big balls to dare to shine some light on the dark corners of the war on terrorism. |
eltolu:Is it possible to do that? Yes. But is it advisable to do that? The answer is NO. If you have little power from PHCN, I'd suggest you charge only the 1.5kva with it and use it as a backup inverter while running the 5kva 24/7. Or if the solar panels is enough, you can always add the other batteries to the 5kva and run only one system. I'm assuming the batteries are of the same age, size and everything. But it is not a good idea to try to charge another system from a bigger one. Are you trying to pull off a perpetual motion machine? JK.Disclaimer: not an expert ![]() |
60% advocates that OP should take friend to a religious house. 30% recommends OP should tell friend to try some drugs and some even claim to have the drug which smells of scam. Only a paltry 10% suggests he needs to see a dermatologist or a medical expert. Nigeria is a tough country to seek advice from as majority will always give you false information. OP please take your friend to another hospital, this time ensure it's a federal medical center with enough professionals to actually find out what's going on with your friend. I'll suggest you ignore people dropping numbers for a miracle cure package. |
Juliearth:Thank you. I guess this learning never ends ![]() |
Juliearth:Out of curiosity, what is 2go? |
