Well, yours is fangpusun. But this is PowMr. And shit just prove to me why it's not in the league of Fangpusun.
I connected the three in series. Shit can't even take in 120v Voc. It momentarily shows 117v Voc and then the charging indicator refuses to show "solar input" sign. Knowing what that could mean, I immediately shut off the DCB to prevent damage to the CC.
I then connected two panels in series and this yèyé controller picked up working. PV input at that point was 65v. To determine it wasn't just an off thing, I repeated 3s again and same scenario was replicated. Now I have put it back in 2s and one panel is redundant. I now get 450 watts, 200 watts short of the 650 watts I record on the 50 amps PWM that it replaced. Of course the PWM was on 3p.
The system is 24v.
Apparently in order to prevent damage to itself from over-Voc, shit first senses the Voc which was the 117v momentarily recorded and then it determines it it should allow solar input. That may be a desirable feature but this performance is really short of the 150v Voc specified for it.
Another reason I may still forgive this CC is if it will not replicate this nonsense in a 48v system. Perhaps if it senses the battery voltage as 48, then it can allow that 150v Voc to go thru.
In the meantime, I am sorely vexed with this thing considering the fact that I have two of it running a 24v system and this new install was actually one of two units I purchased which was delivered few days ago.
In the connection process, I also lost a solar input monitoring meter that I forgot was maxed out at 60v input spec. I just placed the 117v on it and thing smoked right away.
I may now try considering trying out the 60A version of its rival MakeSkyBlue that I have to see the performance. If it meets expectation then goodbye to PowMr and I will seriously shout out this information on the seller's store review.
By the way, your fangpusun is 12v/24v spec, right?
Once did 114 on Makeskyblue and there was no issue except for fans virtually running all through when the sun is up. Had to go down to half to voltage for cooler runnings..
RCDIY: Do you know their rate? I have no FBN account btw
Check out any GTB branch tomorrow and lay your complaint. If you haven't exceeds their $500/month limit, they can check if there is other limit on the account.
I'm getting a Zenith account next week for other deals. They also have lower dollar rate for other things. It appears other banks na learner when it comes to Zenith Bank and her dollar rates.
Ebubemg: Been trying to connect to an agent but it's as if it's impossible, my order since 10 of March did not arrive but aliexpress keep extending my refund, keep getting invalid wait another 10 days
The fastest way to get a human agent is to start chat with an order WITH no issue. If you chose order with issue, the system automatically assigns you a bot. So if you have other order (even if shipped today) if prompted to chose order, take that new order and you will see prompt to chat with a human agent. This is how I chat with a human bot agent
Human Bot: I notice your order 8012********** has not arrived and you have opened dispute.

sirqeeboi: I have been trying to pay using my master card on aliecpress which is not going, I did use same card on AliExpress around mid March which worked smoothly What could be the problem?
What failure reply do you get when the payment fails?
It's super annoying when you need the human CC (who by the way behaves almost like the bot) and all you get is the bot giving you answers you don't want
coldcandy: Oga, this thread has been running since January 2010. Thousands of people have benefitted here and are contributing openly and anonymously. Why do u want to close it?
I've deleted my WhatsApp. It's annoying especially all those groups where everyone wants to sell you something you don't need!
IRAPADA: Good morning guys, please I have 150ah agm battery I have been using with 2 180watts solar panels,is it compulsory I increase the panels to 600watts.my charge controller is 30a
If the current solar panels solves your energy needs, then there is no need to upgrade.
ceaser: So I lost a dispute today. I filed dispute 72hrs after purchase protection expiry.
Tracking showed that item has been in transit for 126 days, and has an "expired" status on 24track and 17track apps. No information that suggests it has gotten to destination and local PO has not informed of any arrival. Items ordered earlier than this item on Cainao have arrived.
I've appealed though, and I demand they show me a screenshot of their own tracking information that showed "waiting for pick-up" status.
Wait for five days and appeal. AE is automatically handing out invalid judgement on all dispute opened after purchase protection ran out.
ceaser: I have forged a relationship with the postmaster in my local PO. I was able to do this by asking her to keep the change on the charges of the parcel on a number of occassion. I also call her number to make inquiries on parcels I'm expecting. In fact, she is the one that always calls me when I eventually have packages.
She has once muted the idea that she can always bring it to my doorstep for extra token, but until I have a PMB which I will officially request from the local PO, I don't plan on NIPOST home delivery yet.
She said I can own a P. O. Box for less than 10k a year. The parcels will be kept in the box at the PO for me to access. She added that a home delivery box will cost a little more.
I agree with you. Using AESS option puts shipping at around 45 USD but with the associated pain of 90 days waiting period and possible disappointment at the end of it all. Paying 20 USD extra for expedited delivery and logistics via DHL wasn't a bad idea.
That's the best way to get that "extra" service from the nice folks from the PO. My experience has been relatively A+. The delay today is not from the end service providers at the various local PO. Some of them are not happy with the slow shipping that is now the order of the day.
jmaine: To be honest, your attack was very unnecessary.. You can express your "displeasure" without the aggression...
A brief dash to AliExpress would have shown you that the shipping cost of such models is the main albatross..
The lowest shipping cost I saw was beyond 22k using the regular AliExpress standard shipping .over 90% of the offering attracts hefty shipping cost.. You could see an offer of 12K with about 74-150K shipping cost...
Perhaps, as a shipper like you insinuated, this is a window for you to use your expertise and ship in these "smart" models at competitive rates to break the "costly" trend.
AE whenever a goods passes 1kg and their crazy billing for shipping are like 5&6.
ceaser: Hmmm. I see he mentioned that briefly, meaning it's likely a possibility. I will try to post that question in his YT channel. Hope he replies quick sha.
You are better off getting answers quicker via his diyforum
ceaser: I wonder. Is it possible to parallel two or more BMSes with similar ratings on a battery pack in order to squeeze more juice into and out of the pack, keeping in mind the C rating of course.
Has anyone thought about this?
Will Prowse has thought of that. Check out this YouTube video. You may jump to the time 4:35 to get the gist
